Hello from Ouray, CO! Thank you for sharing your hike with us!! My wife and I are on a 2 week camping trip around Colorado to try to catch some of the aspen color changes. We are currently up north by Steamboat Springs. Today, we will relocate to close to Vail Colorado to get settled in before this weekends storm comes. We will be there until early next week. Then we will relocate to the Leadville/Buena Vista/Salida area; probably close to Buena Vista since it is mid way for those towns. We mostly boondock; though we do enjoy a campground occasionally so we don't have to count amp hours on the solar or take showers with 8 oz's of water hehehe. Buena Vista is probably my most frequented spot, aside from my area in the San Juan Mountains. They refer to it as the banana belt, which equates to I can get access with my travel trailer, for the backcountry much earlier in the season since that eastern side of the valley frees of snow sooner.

We just arrived a few days ago. Staying for a month. Love how dog friendly the town is.

Interesting history about "old dillon town" here in Pueblo West there was a town called Swallows and that was destroyed when they make lake pueblo. There's a cool old cemetary that over looks the old and now submerged townsite.

Just found your channel and really like all the hiking adventures. By the way the leveling blocks are made to drive the wheel up on until level. The stabilizer jacks are only supposed to go down snug enough to keep the camper stable while walking in it. They aren’t strong enough to level it without eventually breaking. Ask me how I know that. lol. Keep the great videos coming.

Other than winter, why would you ever want to leave? Those mountain scenes are gorgeous!
