Slug Round Boy.. I've listened to genre right from the 1900s and finally got into liking pop. I was a metal head. Then I turned to rock, jazz, blues, rap, rap-rock and now I'm listening to pop. And talk about "widening", I've listened to over a thousand artists and bands and hundreds and thousands of songs. Ed Sheeran is clearly one of the few standout vocalist out of those I listened to.
So many people can do what he does technically speaking, some people could do it even without the loop... that's not the amazing thing about Ed. The amazing thing is the whole product he brings to us. His amazing voice, the amazing songs, the amazing lyrics, the amazing rhytm and groove, the fact he connects to so many by standing alone up there. Actually he could bring the same emotions to screamy croud even without the loop station. That's the amazing thing about him.
Tiziano Natale i agree, he just sets quite the atmosphere with his personality. I was at his show in Dubai in 2015 and the crowd was singing along and everyone was super happy because his attitude and personality is contagious.
I accidently put photograph first then the castle on the hill on my playlist on spotify, and right now its just so emotional if you think about it. Like a story from "wait for me to come home" to "im on my way..."

No one just wakes up and has a natural drive for something or a natural dedication, it's a discipline you have to develop. Summing up their years and years of hardwork and dedication to just "talent" is awful. Using the word talent for year's is what has made people think they can't pursue music because "Oh I'm just not talented enough".
This song is so touching, because it actually tells about us when we were young. Careless, sloppy, rebellious, and do not know who we are. We don't know we're making a memory, we're just having fun at the time. Sometimes we regret it, but sometimes we want to repeat it. And when we look back at the hill that witnessed our mischief, everything has changed. And we can't go back there, we can only enjoy the remnants of memories.

The most organic performance I've seen in a big stage for a while. What a breathe of fresh air. He's just there with his guitar, his lyrics, and his vocals. His talent overwhelmed all the fancy productions the other performers had that day.

Ed Sheeran was the first artist I went to see by myself, and it was the best experience ever. I enjoyed it soooo much and I barely recorded bc I wanted to focus on his music. I'm still amazed that he used the footage of that concert to be shown on billboard music awards, I feel grateful because now I can watch this over and over again and remember that amazing moment
I’m in so much awe of his ability to perform live amazingly, write and help produce his own platinum level hit songs and he’s not even 30 yet. So gifted.
