Filmation feels like such an odd 'back to basics' restart point. I would think the OG toys would always be 'baseline' due to cultural familiarity... but I guess not. But fortunately it appears they're bringing in the OGs too, which helps split the difference and helps collectors fill possible holes in their collection.
That's great they are reissuing figures again. Aside from peg warmers like He-man, Skeletor, Stratos, Jitsu, and Sorceress the Origins line has been mostly non-existent at any store in my area since launch.

Question: Will the retail release of the Filmation Skeletor come with swappable face-plates/heads? Or is that exclusive to the Mattel Creations release?
I agree! Tri-Klops was the only rare figure I was able to acquire (as a collector of this line through the years). His value went up, but I was more bitter from missing out on many because they were so hard to find. Am I bitter that they're re-releasing them and his value will go down? Not at all! I'd rather we find what we want than profit off of a drought preventing us from what we all want! This is the way it should be. Toys for enthusiasts instead of just the opportunists.
@@bentonrp exactly! I’m collecting because I love the nostalgia that origins brings, value is not even a factor for me in collecting them. Mattel creation exclusives like the Christmas tree Tri klops can be the valuable lol, imo But the figures that are core to the collection, I think all fans and collectors should I have them in theirs. Webstor is another that many people are missing.
Would it be great if Mattel reissued characters from Wave 2 and 3 as it was a Walmart Exclusive? Not all countries did not get any of those in abundance.

Will get the reissue triklops if possible. Then on the cartoon collection I will get Skele, triklops beasty merman and trappy then done with cartoon collection
When are Turtles of Grayskull being announced? We know that it’s real from the leak Mattel made you pull down. I would imagine we see the at New York Comic Con
I may be in the minority but I’d rather get new characters instead of the Cartoon figures. I already own some of those Super7 figures that were already pretty cartoon accurate.

Yeah, it's a smart move though. And for fans of the cartoon like me, it makes total sense.
This is a smart move with the reissues. Fans are more likely to buy the remaining figures like Extendar to complete the line this way.

I have never seen or found a Duplico in the wild, I have seen plenty online for scalper prices. So that would be my choice for the mystery figure.

The fan favourites are a great idea. So many figures were so hard to find. Hope they go deep on the cartoon line.
