About a month or two ago my bf and I were running our monthly errands along with laundry that day , and we pulled up and parked in front of the laundry mat we dropped off at , I had noticed a paletero as we had parked and I was like a paleta de Coco con Leche would be aaaaaaamazing bc it was such a hot day , my bf asked if I really did want some but he didn't have cash on him that day ( normally he does ) i was like well luckily enought I got 4$ lol , so I should be good , my heart broke to hear and see this poor abuelito working on such a hot day with index making it well over 100° , I wasn't bother whatsoever when he asked us for a water bottle , cuz we'd just done groceries so we had like 3 cases of water , I told my bf give him 2 it's not cold but he needs to be hydrated regardless , as soon as we pulled away I was mad , mad at the fact that , that abuelo was working in the heat at his age , I wanted to cry but I was more angry than anything , my grandfather retired from his job at 60 he's 72 now and I thank God every day how healthy he still is for his age he does art work for ppl tho as a light side hustle for a little extra cash bc he loves to draw and paint , the heavens are blessed to have your abuelo I'm sure 💓🕊 RIP

Passed away last year, I drowned in tears when I saw him imagining my son doing videos like this, he was such a great soul specially with elder people Whenever we were on the street and he saw a senior asking for money, he would take out of his bag what he had sometimes saved to buy a book and give it to them. I think what you guys do is amazing. I would be honored if somehow you guys can do an event to bring awareness to Lupus patients. My wife has had it since the 90s. She has her bad days and it takes a toll on her physically and mentally but she never gives up. Even with my own health issues I do not complaint because I see how persistent and courageous she is to go day by day. Trust me she has way more good days than bad days but sometimes those bad days can turn into a weeks bed rest and we just make it work. There are top celebrities out these with this disease and it would be amazing if somehow you can connect with them to make an event where the money goes to Lupus research. I am not asking anything monetary or gifts I just know this would mean a lot to my wife and also my daughter that is borderline Lupus as well. God bless you guys and keep doing positive things

Unfortunately, people in any community might take advantage of an elderly person. I hope she has someone trustworthy to help look after her funds.

My Abuelo passed away at the age of 92 still working everyday with a new project . Our people are so resilient 🇲🇽💪🏽 I’m so blessed to be Mexican !!!
