Man start in the '80s and go from there .. Nick Cave has been writing great songs and making great music for over 30 years and The Bad Seeds are a band like no other :) What are you waiting for?
One of his best albums one I listen to more often than others. Just beautiful. An album that got me through some really bad depressive moments. Thanks Mr Cave.
Dead right about dissatisfaction with one's creative output being a foundation to do better. As a working painter the minute I'm satisfied with what I've done I'll stagnate and stop growing as an artist. The public typically doesn't understand why I'm not thrilled with my production even when I think "Shit, did I really do that?" My reticence is often mistaken for fishing for compliments, but I'm not and I do appreciate compliments even when it doesn't appear that way. Learning to be gracious without conceit has been a decades long process.
Nick Cave=Neil Young. And I make an admission as a fifty plus year old, they are two of my heroes in the category of singer writers, who have evolved and have become outstanding rockers of their time. Both hugely influential. I have a couple of other heroes not of Anglo-Saxon background, however, that is irrelevant to this page right now. (I was raised and educated in Melbourne by default. If it were not Melbourne it would have been another city.)(1/19/2019))))))(
I like the way he's so frank and honest about the whole process of creating the music.
My one true love
And mine. I adore and love this man. He is very special.
I've hardly listened to nicks music and know almost nothing about him, but I find his interviews highly entertaining. Great guy.

My favourite Nick Cave record for me ...No More Shall We Part is absolutely fantastic.
The album feels so fresh every time I listen, can't quite believe it's almost 20 years old.
Nick with a AC/DC T-shirt, that's a first!
Darker with the day is a masterpiece.

What you mean like an interview?
Female questions.
Padded shoulders rock!!!
Because who he is as a person is so integral to his music.

How did you ultimately get the confidence to go with yourself instead of thinking, shit I can’t do it by myself
but how do I really get there.
Either no a/c, or nick was high . A good interview still. I think nick was high
