Good starts are defo key next to clean entry and exit from the first gybe mark.. The challenge imo is when the start is not straight off the beach and even more demanding in choppier conditions. Its just practice, so freeriders shouldn't be put off by the 3 minute countdown when its not off the beach... another brilliant show of how enjoyable racing on freerdie gear can be.... Alfie doing what most of us do, drop to many gybes when it matters bcs we we weekend warriors dont get as much water time as the pros (or Ben) buts its still great fun.... really loving this guys
