- Hi there!
When learning a language, writing helps you a lot because it is the only time that allows you to think. There is no time for thinking when you have an actual conversation, isn't there?
So I teach you how to write a diary in Korean with showing a simple diary I wrote.
Hope you enjoy my video and I look forward to comments from you with any writing issues. Thank you♥

This is very inspiring. I am a beginner learning Korean. Are there any tips or resources you recommend? I know how to read Hangul.
Hi lily! Thanks a lot for the comment. That's awesome you know how to read Hangul, I'm not sure if you heard of Naver & Daum, these are like Google for Korean people. Most of us get information from here that even Google doesn't have. Check out the websites ORRR my channel if not enough? ❤️ :)
i can kind of read hangul…a little because wellllllllllll i forgot the letters *half of them 😃😃😃*
감사합니다 . I was looking for this kind of video.🙂🙃
❤️
thank you
I remember my beginner days. Unfortunately, there was no explanations like this so I had to go through the hard way. But, overall it's a good video! Thanks!
Thanks a lot for your comment. Study hard!
This was really helpful! I am attempting to start my own weekly diary in Korean now, just a few sentences a week. It feels overwhelming which is silly considering the school grade level sentences I'll be writing, haha.
Hahah good start!
I love how you explain things!! this is super helpful now I want to start my Korean journal. I’ll subscribe to you too so I can improve my listening! You speak very clearly I can understand without trying too hard🥺

한국어 잘하시네요! 별말씀을요 ( ´ ▽ ` )❤️
i love you account and the little mistakes you make hahaha! Although I have one question. I simply cannot understand how to define if a word is a subject, object or a verb. especially in really long sentences, it make me struggle writing full sentences so I stick with a translator. when I do so I get really angry because why use a translator when your trying to learn??
Sorry for the late reply! It's one of the progresses that you're learning. I still do the same in English! Don't give up. You'll eventually get it 🤍
No one only me i am learning Korean for bts 😂💜
Your video is amazing I subscribed
I am turkish and our languages and japanese have the same root and are so similar so ı feel more confident to learn
I'm actually a very very beginner in Korean but I can read Korean....I mean I know the Korean letters, can write too my not very good handwriting so I was thinking that maybe I should start writing a diary on my daily basis to improve my handwriting as well as the grammar and vocabulary. The question is.....can I write anything like everyday notes,, I know I'll make a lot of mistakes but I want to write and see if my Korean improves or not....will it improve?
Hello Rupa! You are more than welcome to be a Korean learner ♡ Above of all, you can definitely improve your Korean by writing diary entries because you should search for vocabularies and learn to write what you want to say. I started writing since I was a beginner too. Just keep doing it steadily and don't give up. You can do it if I can do it 👍🏿
@@Juliana12347 oh thank you so much 😍 I also think that I might be able to improve at least 0.1% haha!! 너무 고마워요 언니...
Thank you for this video! I am trying to learn Korean hahaah ~~ 진짜 어려워요!!
Hi mate! Happy that my video helped you a little :) Your Korean is great enough! 공부 열심히 해요 ❤️

Heyaa I am new to your channel!!
And I realized that your channel is really good and inspiring enough!! Tysm for this video!!
But I want to ask something (hope you will reply😃)
As I saw your vedio, I thought to make a diary... And that will be a journal type.!! But I will not decorate and all!! Anyways!! In that diary I will just write in Korean!!
I am not fluent yet!! It's my 5th month is going on ( means it's been 5 months for me to learn Korean language 🤙) so I can't write everything properly... And ofc it will be kinda difficult for me to remember everything I will write!!
So can you give tips?? Please
Sorry I wrote a lottt🙏❣
Hi there, sounds like you are doing so well so far. I'd recommend you to.pick up some words first based on what you did today like: coffee(커피), friend(친구) and things like that then try to make a simple sentence with them and next try with different words or expressions.
Example: First step: 카페, 줄리아나, 만났다. (Cafe, Juliana, met)
Second step: 카페에서, 줄리아나를, 만났다. ("I met" Juliana "at a" cafe)
Next level: 카페에서 줄리아나를 만나서 이야기를 했다. (I met Juliana and talked at a cafe.)
Advanced level: 커피숍에서 줄리아나랑 수다(를) 떨었다. + 너무 즐거운 시간이었다. (Juliana and I chatted over a coffee. + was such a great time.)
Also, you can check out Korean grammar checker for what you wrote at speller.cs.pusan.ac.kr
열공하세요 :)
@@Juliana12347 oh!! Omg! Tysm for reply!! And I will surely do
I wanted to know that when you write a dairy/future note to yourself you write it in formal form or informal? By the way thanks for helping!❤️
Definitely informal. For example: 미래의 나는 뭘 하고 있을까? 너는 운동을 열심히 하고 있을 거야. What will I be doing in the future? You will be exercising hard.
@@Juliana12347 감사합니다!💕
Be my uni teacher *-* thank you for helping
I already am! 😁
Advice
hiii, I'm staring to write and read in Korean, can you recommend me, maybe some books or apps. Also thank you for the video, it really helped me :)
Hi there! I'm wondering if you have heard of Naver. It's a Korean website like Google. You can get most information about Korea here. It has spell checker and Korean dictionary ad well. All in Korean language tho. Lemme know if you have any further questions. Good luck!
Sorry as well* not ad well lol
Juliana줄지아나 고마워 ~😊
I live in Turkey and my English is not so good if you add the video to Turkish subtitles You make me very happy, but very nice shape I do not quite understand the .anlat I therefore add English subtitles
Hi friend, I have just added Turkish subtitles auto-translated by RUclips. Awesome function! Study hard :)
Hi do you have any website or application recommendations for vocabulary? because it keep changing if i translated on google
Naver is general and popular in Korea. Sorry for the late reply!
지금 어디 잇어요?
Can I write diary if I just started out with korean? I'm familiarising myself with Hangul, but I keep forgetting the Alphabets. How should I improve that?
Good start! I recommend spending at least 30 minutes to review what you studied at the end of the day. Come up with the Hangeul with examples like 가방(ga-bang, a bag) for ㄱ(gi-eok) then look up for a sentence like 어제 가방을 샀다(yesterday I bought a bag.) If you study step by step (alphabet - word - sentence) you will reach at the level you wanted to be :) 힘내세요 you can do it!
@@Juliana12347 네 마니 감사합니다.🌸
I'm trying to learn hangul because it says I need that before learning words. But then I can't write without knowing the words. I'm so confused and lost. What should I do?
Hi mate, unlike other languages with English alphabet it is true you should start with hangul first to learn Korean. You need to know how to read hangul and write words then build sentences in progress. Don't worry too much, everyone starts from the very beginning. The step you are on is very normal like me having to restart Spanish from the beginning 😂😂 you can do it I promise 🤙🏿
우듀라이크 섬띵 튜 드링끄?
훌륭하십니다 구독자님 낄낄
I don't know who to ask to check my sentences though. I might be writing them wrong 🥺🥺
You can check up your grammar here though it's all in Korean 😅

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try speaking slower in next videos ;)
