They do not own the building, Chick Fil A owns the real estate, and charges 15% rent I believe. The operator pays a "Franchise fee" of $10,000. This gives them the license to operate the business. A great company. But, if you do get selected to run one, and it is a tough process, you can't have any other businesses, andy they rarely grant multiple store licenses. That is why they are so successful, the operator is an owner, and must run the business.
Food Industry is profitable only in multiples. This is why they own 5-10 or more stores, even if you earn $2.5M that's only $125,000 in profit and it's likely less than that overall.

Steak N Shake is one all investors should avoid, the company is clearly going out of business soon. They also lowered the starting hourly wages new employees are offered 50 cents. They purposefully short staff their restaurants to profit, causing employees to do more work then they should have to do. Big catch is their franchisees have to do about one year of training, they don’t pay for travel, or a place to stay and if you fail the test after training you only get half of your $10,000 dollar investment back. If you do get approved and pass the training you have to be full time glorified manager.

Could you possibly do a video on burgerIM I’ve heard of this new franchise and would like to know some information on your end. Thank you love your videos and the information you’re putting out
Miguel garcia don’t do burgerim. They heavily advertise on selling franchise but not building business. There was one just open in my city less than a year and already been closed.
Dnt do it its shady
It sucks beyond belief.
7-eleven is not profitable if yearly gross sales are less than 1.5 m. Even if a store is more than that, it takes a lot of labor and attention to make a living wage .
What do you recommend for the Staffing Franchise ?

It's not.
In-N-Out don't have franchise. You can also see it in the picture, 0 Franchise Unit and 328 Company Units.

A woman in her 30s owns it. She inherited it.
what about
ATM machines
car rental business ?
You can rent cars you own with Turo and Getaround. Why would you want to rip off people with an ATM machine? That is already a problem customers have with out of network machines. That isn't a solution to a problem it's adding to the problem for your own personal benefit.
@@dj4monie Why would anyone want to rip people off? To take money from others and make it yours, of course. No matter whether it's with an ATM machine or with a hospital or with a medicine or an epipen, or something else.
@@michael-ju8tv My credit union pays my out of network ATM fees. However most Americans have accounts with the six largest banks or unbanked. I led a movment to use credit unions out of Occupy Wall Street.

No royalties - but a pretty hefty legal bill :-)
