    Absolutely the price was a key factor in my decision to buy. It's not that cheap dive computer because of its price. It comes with what I need as a recreational diver at a great price point. Thanks Gus for making the review. Dive Safe..🇺🇲👌🏼

      Yes please, a Shearwater Perdix review. I think my computer should be retired and getting ready to replace it.

    Definitely gonna get this for my dive computer. Though I feel they could had at least added air integration and a good price point, it’s not a deal breaker. Watch, they release a AI version when I buy it. That be my luck 🤣

    • @DIVETALK
      @DIVETALK  3 года назад +1

      I don’t think so, it would be hard to justify buying a Perdix AI at that point.

      I had a friend who couldn't equalize and she got a mask that had earmuffs not sure if thats what you call them. But it allowed her to dive. Hope this info helps.

      I’ve had troubles equalizing from day one of my diving life, it’s been 7 years now.
      And just at around 100 dives I got the system down. Of course everyone is different, but I can equalize my left ear only by swallowing and right ear by constantly blowing hard through one of the nostrils while keeping the other one open , also there’s delay in response so I have to stop slightly before it’s fully equalized otherwise I over extend it a little and there’s pain.
      What I also found out is that psychologically it’s important to under that I WILL equalize and that I shouldn’t get anxiety from it as it would only make things worse.
      So, taking your time or telling yourself that even if your whole dive is at 10-20 feet it’s still ok. But generally the hardest for me is reaching 30 feet than it gets easier. Usually. But there are days when it’s just super sticky.
      So shire diving is preferable. Take Sudafed extra strength but 12 hour ( long white tablets work better) and I also pair it with Vicks nasal spray.
      With that combo or trio if you account for shore diving I KNOW I will do down.
      Hope this helps, and I’m very sympathetic to your struggle sometimes I watch these people who otherwise suck at diving but never had any issues with equalizing and it kinda makes me hate them a little 😂

    I receive mine. It would have been great if the case was bigger. Because you are forced to unscrew the wristband if you want to put it back in the case.
    And, they should have put a bluetooth dongle inside the box for connecting with the computer. I've a bluetooth receiver on my motherboard but for an unknown reason, it is not working. (Working great on android).

      Mine fits fine. Leave the straps loose and wrap around.
