    This is the video I send people when I try to explain why I had surgery on my neck. People try to follow what I'm explaining verbally, but most of the time, they just think I'm referring to the "THYROID" instead of the "PARAthyroid." Great video - THANK YOU FOR THIS ONE!! 👍🏾

    Never ever let a doctor dismiss slightly elevated calcium. My doctor did, 5 years later I had doctors telling me it was depression and they medicated away my fatigue with an SNRI. Something was wrong, I ended up having an emergency parathyroidectomy. After the surgery I had tetany, tremors, and bad convulsions of my limbs. It can get very serious.

    What's important is if you have high calcium in the cells, not the blood.
