    UPDATE: Rangeland Wines was included in this list it was the 5th and last winery in the video. I NO longer recommend or will support Rangeland wines. During a second visit, an offensive remark was directed towards my son by Laird Foshay (winegrower & owner). As we were getting ready to leave we were packing up Jaxon’s monster trucks. Being a 2 year old Jaxon threw one of them into a bush. Laird Foshay walked over and said, “Don’t throw them into the bush there could be rattlesnakes”. Jaxon being an extremely active little boy took off running I ran after him. Laird was left behind with my brother and sister in law, as Jaxon was running away Laird Foshay says and I quote, “Look at him dashing for the boarder, brings me back”. Laird then walked away.
    I take my videos and my recommendations about the Central Coast extremely serious. Racism is not okay and I will not support or recommend a winery that made such an offensive remark towards a 2 year old.

    Not a fan of Eberle. Went once. Didn't enjoy any of their wines. All of which were way overpriced for the quality. However, Castoro wines were great. I believe the tasting fee was only $10, but we didn't pay it because we joined their wine club on the spot, and took advantage of the 'signing bonus' of getting a steeper discount on whatever wines you purchase on the day you sign up. And you can't leave off Tobin James on a video like this, since their tasting fee is $0.00

      Tobin James doesn’t offer free tastings anymore. Their tasting fee is $20 which is waived if you purchase $20 or more of their wine. I’m planning on doing more inexpensive videos in the future and will be including Castoro Cellars. 🍷

      @@adrirodriguez9897 WOW! No idea TJ was charging for tasting now! Haven't been there in a couple years.
      The great thing about the Castoro membership is that it's a flat $120 for 6 bottles shipped. Doesn't matter what bottles are included - it's the same price each time with free shipping within CA. I especially like their Du Mila Bordeaux blend and their PasoFusion blend.
      Also, Turley may not necessarily be a "budget-friendly" tasting experience, but it's SO worth it to join their wine club! Basically it's just an e-mail mailing list, and they don't really offer discounts on their wine to members - but they do offer free tastings to their members. The cost of membership is to simply buy at least ONE bottle per year. That's it. And all of their wines are fantastic!

      Looks like Castoro upped their tasting fee to $20 now, too. Anyways, hope you like it! And if you're ever in the Lodi area and need winery recommendations, let me know! I live only 20 minutes from Lodi and have been to nearly 50 wineries there.

    • @chrismiller100
      @chrismiller100 3 года назад +1

      Oh, and if you go to Castoro, make sure to ask if they have a bottle of the Due Mila open for tasting - it's their most expensive wine, a Bordeaux blend, and it's absolutely delicious!

      @@chrismiller100 I think after the pandemic Tobin changed their tasting fee. Thank you so much for all the info and recommendations! I took a screenshot for reference. Castoro is next on my list and will for sure ask to try their Du Mila Bordeaux blend! I’ve been wanting to stop by to play on their disc golf course, another great inexpensive thing to do in Paso!
