  • The skull bones, or cranial bones, and their sutures can be remembered using a simple mnemonic trick in this anatomy animation!
The skull bones consist of cranial bones and facial bones connected by sutures. The cranial bone mnemonic in the video will help you remember the skull anatomy, landmarks, and locations of each bone. The cranial bones include the ethmoid bone, occipital bone, 2 parietal bones, frontal bone, 2 temporal bones, and sphenoid bone.
The cranial bones make up the cranium that surround and protect the brain. This animation will walk you through the anatomy and important features of each cranial bone and the sutures that connect them.

I worked in commercial banking for 10 years, but I wanted to change careers into the medical field. On my first day I was sort of lost because I haven't touched any science materials for a long time. Why can't teachers teach us mnemonics in order for us to memorize facts quicker.

I have watched your videos for the skull and the vertibrae sofar and in such a short video you crammed a lot of easy to remember information and it is super clear. I really appreciate you making these. I am paying off all my debt so i can go to school to become a chiropractor and this is giving me a big head start.

Thank you for the lesson. I'm a nursing student, and this has definitely made it easier to understand and remember bones of the cranium. I'm going after the facial bones video next, haha.
