That is unbelievably cute. Those two boys must make their parents very proud. And Bård looks like he's about 20. Thank you for the translation! (PS: At the beginning, when Vegard says "It's a high" it sounds like he is saying something like "Det er... rus...? ros? røs? Is it slang for "a rush"... because I'm totally falling back on cognates here.
TaiChiKnees vegard says "det er en rus" rus = rapture (according to google translate?). the word "rus" is also used when describing the feeling you get when you take drugs, but he just means that he is happy (I'm sorry for my bad english, I'm norwegian :)
mynameismina9 Ah, so in American English you would say "It is a rush."... meaning it makes you feel amazing and also would be an idiom for feeling high on drugs. So the cognate rule works! If only I could find someone to speak English with a Norwegian accent we could see if Norwegians could still understand... where's an American Vegard when you need one?
I don't think it's right to have only nominated Bård. I get really tired of Vegard getting the short end of the stick in nearly everything they do. I'm glad to see he is beginning to fight back more, and is starting to really push for his equal status with his brother. It's I Kveld Med Ylvis - not I Kveld Med Bård...
+Kass983 Problem is (well, it's not really a problem), but Vegard is the "straight" man in this comedy duo - it's his job to set up the "star". But, yes, I was a bit dismayed during IKMY last year that Vegard didn't get any screen time of his own - even Magnus got his own segments, and I didn't think they were entertaining at all. I would definitely like to see more Vegard this season, preferably singing.
+Lynn Cooper I haven't seen much of season 4 yet unfortunately, but "less Vegard / more Magnus" doesn't inspire to seek out the episodes with as much enthusiasm as I would normally have. His skits in the early episodes were so endearing, and his singing is just amazing to experience. I hope the new season, now without Magnus-filler, will showcase Vegard more too. If Bård gets to be the star/host of THEIR talk show, then Vegard should have his own opportunities to shine - and those award givers should recognize both of their contributions to THEIR show.
Thank you so much for translating this! glad to know what they are saying. Bard and Vegard looks so handsome here!!! i can't stand it! lol
Thanks for uploading and the subtitles!
nice both of you👍👍👍

What does "up like a deer, down like dirt" mean? Said in unison it must have meant something to them.
heyjude It's not a real saying, it was just something silly they made up :)
Wow... Look at all that makeup!
They both look fuckin FIVE!! Lmao
did they win?
happpytohangaround Sigh, of course not. Apparently you need to do naked yoga in Paris in order to win anything these days.
