Good point, but $33, 000 can get you a very nice non-poly boat. The whole purpose of poly mold is to reduce costs. These prices are like early prices for solar panels.

looks to me a mold was open ground up find plastic powder dumped in the mold, the lid clamped back on and the mold is on a rotational arm the turn two ways in a hot ass oven. after about 3 cooling cycles it gets opened after a light rain wash. the arm machine is huge as well as the oven..its a octopus four arms and each arm has a rotational spindle so the mold is spined two ways to have even thickness over all product.. yea ..lol i was the plastic man of madison indiana back in the 90's on the cb radio .. the Wizard of madison in. i spent some time at meese inc.. the smelly factory on top of hanging rock hill..lol its still there pumping out plastic heavy duty parts.....their shit is 1/4 inch wall finished product.. member of 1987-1989... fuck i hated that job..lol
$3500 😆 where I live you can buy a good used aluminum boat, trailer and 9.9hp combo for less all-day long
Then take that aluminum John boat in some inlet chop and see what happens

Just FYI Legally you need 2 people on board to pull a tube. At least in pa and ohio.

@@AliexFolgueira yes for sure. I want one but I haven’t taken my boat out in like 3 weeks so I better get fishing before my wife makes me sell. There’s a little bay down here where a power plant has a spillway. You cannot get there without going outside the jetty’s and traveling a pretty long distance if co dictions are right, and there’s an old railroad bridge that may make that not even an option anyway. This little boat would be perfect to get up to the spillway. You’d be the only one out there besides the people who hiked miles on foot to get out there. There are tons of huge reds. One morning I took my old town predator up there and it was huge reds o e after the other. There’s something about the water temp there that makes it a major hole, one of these little boats would be perfect. And you could take a friend

In Australia we use a extension.pole for the throttle and stand or sit forward in the centre and then crank it

@@fradrake11 this particular model is about $3500 US, not sure about shipping prices to Ireland though, I think right now they're only available in Australia and USA. They're not even coming to Canada until later this year

No need for that unless you have 3 150hp motors on your boat. That extension just takes up space of the others on your boat & makes for wider turns.

If you can use foam insulation to fill out the cavity of the boat, that will make is unsinkable.
Interesting boat. Kinda expensive though. You can get a Havoc aluminum boat for not much more.

I just bought the 10’ twin troller boat, it has two trolling motors under the boat and you control everything with your feet, forward backwards turning and can even turn on a dime as if there was a pole going through center of the boat. Doesn’t go fast but very cool for fishing. Oh and you can’t tip it so don’t even try. Lol

Been waiting years for these to come over here from when i first saw them years ago! I think there is market for rolling these over the beach and launch from the beach to fish the Gulf. Instead always having a big boat and being forced to go through the pass / inlet to reach snapper fishing.

You can ski behind it but be very wary of the prop
Not only that but think of the gas we could all save my 23 gets a whopping 2.7 mpg at 5 dollars a gallon may not be going snapper fishing this season
Probably a boat best reserved for small channels where the wind cannot whip up any waves larger than small chop.Also the motor is likely to large for the boat .This would explain why the operator starts screaming when the throttle is open at any speed more than just over a fast idle.
That's a nice set-up how much is it and the motor that should be pins in the bottom of the motor you have to raise one of them pins up a little bit your plane off a lot quicker

Want a trolling motor, you have to visit a dealer for any accessories other than the 695 Bimini Top.
She had it right. You are looking at around 10K when it is said and done unless you plan to top load like a canoe and paddle this thing. In that case, yeah 3295 + taxes to get you around 3600. Pretty spot-on that way.

What are you some kind of id%#*×? You don't have to have "electric" trim to have it plane off. Sir you don't have a clue. Manual trim would be adequate.
A 'whale tail ' installed on the outboard cavitation plate would help provide a level plane attitude or perhaps trim tabs on the transom.
Yea, it needs trimming up once on plane. Needs to be down though when coming out of the hole. Seems the hull design isn't that great or it can't really handle much weight in the back.

I take mine to the seaway in Gold Coast Australia where it's crazy busy and I jump over others wake etc, handles fine, just need to pay attention

With boat, trailer, motor, and fully rigged, casting seat on the bow. Fully rigged with electronics I see about 7-8k total but compared to a bare bone PA 14 360 that’s not bad at all!!!!
For real people don’t know that you can get a small boat like yak for very cheap with a brand new engine and explore, like you don’t need to just have one thing

How sturdy are the holes you're drilling into the hull for rod holders, like for trolling?
Is the hull styrofoam filled?
This thing holds a 55# trolling motor installed in the plastic no problem it will be the same for trolling as long as you make the right install, that’s railblaza sports are super strong and you can even make the stronger by using the HDPort plate which uses 4 screws
@@AliexFolgueira static weight is different from moving weight. My assumption is that it won't hold for long if it's just straight into the plastic with no washer and but on the other end of the screws in the mount

Couple heavy sand bags in the front to keep nose down . Possible flip over if running in to a hard wind front . Nose is real ight in acceleration

I’ve been shopping for a small boat but honestly guys even a wake board with a motor would look good on flat calm water but unfortunately not every day fishing is it flat calm when the wind comes up! I’d like to see it in adverse conditions wind waves! Is it self baling up on step? And how many hp can it handle? It takes more than just looking good l need to get back safely?
Max hp is 15, if you watched the video you will see that we went over it’s own wake several times with no issues that’s not a “normal” flat condition

It is some kind of test...but did not show how it stands up against some regular chops from passing larger water "crafts"...I guess it is for "very calm" water conditions...and how does it perform against running over floating stumps landing on beach and light nudges against docks :D...and for the price...hmmm one could hope that it can offer more on either safety, staying afloat and toughness...Good Intro Video to the product though...looks promising...how lightweight is it to tow and launch solo?

My pelican bass raider and mud motor brand new is only $1000 and cruises at 10-15mph. Regularly fish with my wife and 3 kids on it.
Yeah but you can't compare the two crafts, plus very few want a mud motor, you are also over pushing through limits of boat, you should be more careful with your family

Buy a John boat. Bass boat deck the thing. Add some seats… Costs less. And way more fun. Though the poly boat does look cool. Both have benefits and drawbacks. Looks cool though. 👍

Very nice boat. People have caught marlin on these in Australia. A boat (that hopefully comes to the US) that would be 10x better is the fatcat 4000. It is only 0.8meters longer in a catamaran design.

I like it, but I think It needs a center console with remote steering and controls. It looks like it is leaning a little far to one side when just one person is sitting in the tiller-steer position.
Is it kinda small for that? I think you can trick it up though
