Anchor seems to be the better of the two if you can only afford to pull for one of them. she can function on her own or with anyone else from her squad such as favorite item Helm, but Mast is dead without Anchor cause of the 10 second self stun. Even if you got another nikke that removed debuffs (such as the other Maids, Ade/Cocoa) I think other nikkes remove all of the debuff instead of a single stack count so Mast wouldn't get the other benefits that are increased by her debuff stacks. They both also take a few bursts to ramp up but they seem like a strong pair. Other than their damage/attack buffs, by the end of third full burst rotation combined they will give a massive amount of reload speed together
I *was* gonna pull for Mast, for... Reasons... But for her to work properly you need Anchor and I'm not pulling for two characters before a Collab. I might pull for Mana now, to have a meta support for SBS, for the Kraken fight. So I'd say their bait for a duo doesn't work on me.

NGL the numbers on these duo looks very strong. Doesn't matter if your alternate between them, it seems like both passive abilities will be active at the same time potentially dealing more damage than Crown + Naga burst II duo. Plus, they buff distributed damage a lot making SBS even stronger! My guess would be: Liter, this duo, SBS, Mana. OR RRH, this duo, SBS, Mana. Personally, I'm getting a copy of Anchor, then wishlist Mast for later!

TL;DR they complete a very strong water distributed damage comp. If you haven't built or do not possess water distributed damage characters, you can skip.
it's going to be good (probably) only if you pair the new Mast AND the new Anchor, they basically can't function properly without eachother, it's similar to other duo characters we already have like Blanc/Noir, Tia/Naga, altough the latter are a bit more independent than Mast/Anchor

When running with anchor, mast will stay at 2 stacks of drunken all the time. The only time it gets to 3 stacks is after B1 activates and before full burst starts.
Not a fan of overcomplicated kits when one can just be B1 other B2 with 20 burst time,yes yes they doing something different but something simple and good is always better🤔

Man... I don't like this kit at all! There are both Burst II, they both have 40sec cooldowns... You need to run two burst II for this team comp and you still don't have Cooldown reduction. Anchor healing is great, that's true, but the damage buff based on caster's atk is not that great on supporter Nikkes... Anchor with FI Helm caught had been great, but she is still a 40 Sec burst II, so you still need another burst II This is seriously limiting team composition. I'm not a fan :( Edit : Doro, Mast, Anchor, Quency EQ, and Winter Ludmilla or Helm with FI would be a god tier comp with those 2...
@ idk if you’ve ever shot a gun, especially an automatic, bc that whole stance screams pain after shooting like, 30 rounds. Especially with the fit, all those hot af shells are landing right in her chest.

Yup that's my plan skipping the banners right now to get them from the normal banner while saving up for the colab and summer limited after.
