As a McLaren fan, I'm surprised they didn't order Piastri to give up 2nd place to Lando, because he is Verstappen's closest rival in the championship, and is gaining on him. Lando needed 3 extra points to his tally after Monza in my opinion to be closer to the championship lead, and the gap between him and Max being 59 points instead of 62.
I still have nightmares Abt France 2022 when Charles crashed, and in imola 2022 he probably should have just consolidated his position but I get the urge to push because he is a racing driver . Norris has not had anything like that yet so good on him .

I wouldn't be surprised to see Red Bull introduce their own in Baku with the FIA floundering about on the rules. As far as the McLaren driver dilemma, Norris is the only choice as the number one driver as he's the only one within a shot of winning the driver's championship. Piastri is starting to come across as an overy entitled and smug little sh*t. His move on Norris at Monza defies the comments made by the team in Hungary. He just pissed away a one/two lead.
