Your parts one and two with the candid photos and vids are SO helpful! Really lets us have a good idea of what the procedure entails and the Q&A time with your surgeon was so thorough- it’s hard to remember all you want to ask during a consult so that part was especially helpful. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with such transparency.
I think your guilt or questioning yourself is very understandable. I would think most people would question themselves. I’m happy you’re healing well. Thank you for sharing your experience and being so open. You look great.
Hey Lorry,could you do a video on Bella Thorne's plastic surgeries? She claims she didn't have any and is all about natural beauty ,but it's very obvious she had some work done ;
Wow. That was incredibly informative. Watching your early recovery and being able to see the post-op and listen to your surgeon explain everything makes this video a "must see" for anyone interested or considering these kinds of procedures. Thank you for sharing such a personal experience. I'm sure it will benefit many. Your results are beautiful.
Your incisions to me are invisible now. You are so kind and brave to share your journey as well. By the way your hands are so youthful and small. I think you are healing very well! Hugs, C
Girl, who cares about the lighting, psh, the results are so clear, and you look lovely (though you were beautiful before, too, but you get me!)! Such natural-looking results, I’m impressed. After everything you’ve been through, (your nose jobs story was heartbreaking), I’m so excited that all the time and recovery turned into excellent results even early on! I hope this means you won’t need to do more procedures for many years to come!
Lorry is a great presenter and a great listener. She really let the doc explain everything without interrupting him. Not everyone does that. I’m getting a facelift in a few months and this video is so helpful in setting expectations. I like that she doesn’t sugarcoat recovery, just tells it like it is.
I'd definitely love to hear about hair transplant for women. I've been wanting to get my hairline fuller and make my forehead smaller. Keep us posted and congratulations on your beautiful results.❤️😻💕
Sometimes I feel like under going surgery in general can be really stressful on the mind. Your body literally just went under so much stress your mind will feel it to but like you mentioned I think that is why it’s very important to have a support system. All the feelings you felt after your surgery are validated and I’m so happy your feeling like yourself again. Can’t wait to see your final results when the time comes!
Hi Lorry, I've got a personal interest in your journey- I got a SMAS face and neck lift on October 4th and so I'm healing about the same time as you! I'm over the moon with mine, my mother said I look like I'm in my 20s and my aunt said I'd lost 30 years😄 I'm 53 lol x
Thank you for sharing your fears and joys, the not so pretty to beautiful moments, and letting us in on the answers to the many questions you had through your experience. It is very kind of you to give us a look into your process.
Your honesty about this is refreshing. Also, how in-depth and detailed you were willing to go with sharing your journey is just commendable and is sure to help anyone out there who contemplating to undergo the same procedures.
I just have to say that it's really nice to see your full self on film because you are starting to look so beautiful I thought you were a robot. I know that sounds crazy but it's a compliment I promise. You really lifted the veil of secrecy around my desires to have plastic surgery and you're teaching me a lot thank you so much
I would never have the gut doing this, but IF I would, this would be the doctor to turn to! He really is remarkably informative, calm, honest and trustable, seems like a really nice and decent man. Most plastic surgeons I've watch in these kind of videos are almost aggressively positive and tough, a bit shallow and not talking about the bad sides that much.
I can't ever have any of these procedures because I have fibromyalgia but I really love how open you are about everything, and the empathy you communicate throughout the celebrity-analysis videos. I'm glad I found your channel
What a stunning result!!! I'd love to do this surgery in 5 years or so, I'm 41 now but don't have much ageing yet. Wish I could see Dr Marten. He did an amazing job on you. It's also so interesting to learn you were not completely under. Extremely educational videos. Thank you so much for sharing your journey.
Wow, I always thought of doing this in my 50s but I will NOT have the support nor will I be able to do a comfortable 3 month recovery very easily. Good to know! 👍🏻
Not rich people but average, some people prefer to spend a lot of money in luxury car and staff like that respect to invest money in themself, I would never understand that.
The "recovery" isn't 3 months. You should be back to work within 2 weeks. Minor changes will still take place for months, but that isn't really active recovery. Your life would only be disrupted for a few weeks.
I don't have any intention to get any plastic surgery ever, but I am very impressed with the results of your face lift! The surgeon did an amazing job! Wow!
I have always had a very poor opinion about plastic surgeries, the insecure people who get them and the doctors leeching on their insecurity, but your videos started changing my view. And this doctor removed all my prejudice. He really knows what he is doing and what he is talking about. A true pro! Great video!
thanks for taking us through this process! i went through a surgery (labiaplasty) and i felt very depressed, emotional, and just overall had a hard time in my surgery. i’m a super high stress/anxiety person so i think that’s why i had a hard time, but i’m doing better at 5 weeks post op (:
Yes, I know u feel..i suffer from anxiety and when i got my nose done it went through the roof...it never occured to me that even if my nose looked letter, my mind wouldn't be able to handle a big change
thank you for being so honest about the surgeon!! so many surgery vids I watch, the girls refuse to divulge who it is. as if it's some secret information that they don't want to tell us for some strange reason. It's great to see transparency!
Thank you for sharing, I am a black South African, just sharing so you know how much reach your videos have. I am so grateful for your videos because the extent to which plastic surgery is glorified in the mainstream media it seems like it comes at no cost or as if the pain, psychological, emotional, spiritual is negligible. No it is very painful, and I am by no means judging you, we all choose, life is about choosing but your transparency has made it very easy for most of us regular people to choose.
My gosh, just awesome! I've been fearful to move ahead in getting a face/ neck lift and now I really need my eyes done too. I have aged so much this last year especially. I'm 65 divorced for a long time and hate how I look now. How to find the right surgeon and move forward on it has really hindered me. I've been taping the back of my neck for years and then my face decided to really drop.😱 Honestly think that the filler I had one time 3 years ago was the worst decision as it eventually shifted downward and created the problems I'm dealing with. Anyhow, all to say, I'm grateful for your full disclosure and all the details you have us. It's so very, very helpful🙏 Bless you🙏♥️
Girl ; go do it !! You’ll be glad you did ! Dr. Timothy Marten ; he will actually make you look younger not just pulled and well groomed ! PS; make sure you watch part 1 has lots of before and afters of his patients and explains why I chose him.
Your 3 month pics looked freaking A M A Z I N G girl! I'm glad you showed them taken in natural lighting instead of the artificial lighting of the dr's office which makes them (to me) look staged and not realisitic. Thank you for your thorough review. It made for a highly enlightened, engaging and informed learning experience. I really appreciate this♥
Lori you were pretty before surgery however pictures of those other patients WOW. almost all of those women were completely transformed One women could never be traced back to her to her photo. The man was recognizable but nice. Some of the women I'm guessing were never that pretty before at any of their ages. I think you're research to choose this doctor is A+. You look great but when I saw you after surgery I was proud that you took such good care of yourself and chose Dr. Timothy. You look fabulous but a pat on the back for choosing the safest possible clinic/doctor. That's impressive! Sharing the process on video is priceless and rare Thank you so much Lori. Keep sharing!
Your doctor did an incredible job, I can't believe you're only a few months out. You look stunning! I'm super excited for your kpop series. I hope you will look at one of the older (but still active) groups, SHINee. I'm a huge fan of their music, performance, AND looks, and would LOVE to hear your opinion on what enhancements or maintenance they may have had.
Have not seen a vid of someone’s surgeon explain in detail their rationale for each aspect. Speaks of his care and concern for the patient and the outcome. I always fear the idea of doing a facelift and it turning disastrous, so going to someone skilled and who cares is key, especially when going through the post-op self doubt period (thanks so much for sharing this part and everything else). Dr. Timothy Marten is so down to earth and genuine and he does excellent work, so I can see why you picked him. At this point in the healing process, you already look SO beautiful!! 👍🏻😀💕
i had breast augmentation several years ago, and i also had that regret feeling once i got home. i literally called my surgeon on the phone at 2 in the morning in a panic because i thought i wanted them out. he said give it a few days and see how i feel. i did get over it, but sounds as thought its very common to have these types of feelings after surgery.
He really does have an artistry about his work. From looking at your facelift and the others- everyone really does look better than before, even if they looked ok before.
She had very early jowling, too. Good she took care of both issues early. When i saw my before pics that the surgeon took, i could no longer see why I needed a facelift. He was just a good photographer, lol. (Same when i went to fut my passport photo.) They contrasted with what i saw in the mirror and in selfies. But then, they showed me the one with my head down, and yikes, that hanging under chin needed to go.
Watching this on Dec.12,2020. How could 20 people rate this as a thumbs down? As a nurse with plastic surgery background this video was very informative without going too technical. I learned some new infos from the video and nothing was visually gross either. Thank you Lorry.
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 Hearing what the doc and surgeon had to say was so educational. Also the result is phenomenal. I really do think he is an excellent surgeon. But I do think that your style of wearing make up makes you look a lot older, maybe change up some things and you'll look really rejuvenated 🎉 Congrats to survive that hard recovery

What a phenomenal video, parts 1, 2. Thanks so much. When such procedures are so private it is so important that some patients share their journey, especially before-after and the recovery process along with tips-physical and mental.
Hello, I am wondering about what appears to be the subtle lack of movement on the right side of your face in the mouth area. Was this present before surgery? Is this due to the surgery, or from botox or something since surgery?
Thanks for pointing out that the best before and after photos are shot in the same location-same lighting. As well, so important to point out that before and after photos should be without make up. Thanks, again, for such a remarkably thorough presentation.

You're so pretty, I figured you couldn't have looked that different pre-op at only 42. I assumed that was just too young for such a major procedure, and maybe it was premature... I dont think the mental aspect of surgury is that uncommon. I remember my recovery from taking my four wisdom teeth out I was going over and over about why did I do that to myself, but ultimately it was the best decision ever.
I know these before and after photos are "in-progress" but I gave you a slow clap, and yelled out "OH YES!" You look amazing!! I can tell from offhand comments on your other videos I've watched that there may have been complications as a result (I'm looking at your personal plastic surgery playlist for the first time right now), but as of this stage, wow you are looking amazing!!! You have literally changed my mind about face lifts! I used to be SO AGAINST THEM! Just seen too many botched ones. But you have had GREAT WORK done and I just have to say - you literally looked like a 24 year old in the after pictures! That is just incredible! He is soooo kind, gentle and easygoing. His work speaks for itself and I will absolutely be looking into traveling to his practice when I hit 40’s if he’s still practicing regularly. Incredibly impressed all around with him.
Thank you ❤️
Hey Lorry, could you do a video on Bella Thorne's plastic surgeries?
She claims she didn't have any and is all about natural beauty ,but it's very obvious she had some work done ;
I got the notification, I came right here! She still looks beautiful before and after! What a QUEEN
You’re the sweetest; thank you !
Hugs, C
Thank you !
I just love how transparent you are about your surgeries. You are truly practicing what you preach
Thank you friend !
Aww thanks girl ; yeah I’m happy; now I just want others to be helped !
You look great!
Plastic surgery improves the lives of people, very thankful to all the skilled doctors!
You were so lucky to have people supporting you and it was worth it. You look so beautiful.
Who was your doctor?
The doctors name?
The doctor she was recommending for monetary gain, photoshops his pictures, so be wary.

Thank you 🙏🏻
OMG! his surgeon is amazing. He really knows his stuff. Thank you Lori. You are the best! So grateful for you.
I just have to say that it's really nice to see your full self on film because you are starting to look so beautiful I thought you were a robot. I know that sounds crazy but it's a compliment I promise. You really lifted the veil of secrecy around my desires to have plastic surgery and you're teaching me a lot thank you so much

@@LorryHill much love to u
I would never have the gut doing this, but IF I would, this would be the doctor to turn to! He really is remarkably informative, calm, honest and trustable, seems like a really nice and decent man. Most plastic surgeons I've watch in these kind of videos are almost aggressively positive and tough, a bit shallow and not talking about the bad sides that much.
you are so beautiful lorry!😍 i admire your strength. 🤍
@Benji Nnin That s why lorry is making videos like this just to SATISFY HERSELF and pointing out many celebs also doing this
I can't ever have any of these procedures because I have fibromyalgia but I really love how open you are about everything, and the empathy you communicate throughout the celebrity-analysis videos.
I can just wish that my surgeon was this transparent, down to earth, kind, empathetic to me....hats off to this surgeon's transparency...
Aww he really is great 👍🏻
Wow, I always thought of doing this in my 50s but I will NOT have the support nor will I be able to do a comfortable 3 month recovery very easily. Good to know! 👍🏻
ThAts definitely for the rich and privilege
Not rich people but average, some people prefer to spend a lot of money in luxury car and staff like that respect to invest money in themself, I would never understand that.
The "recovery" isn't 3 months. You should be back to work within 2 weeks. Minor changes will still take place for months, but that isn't really active recovery. Your life would only be disrupted for a few weeks.

I don't have any intention to get any plastic surgery ever, but I am very impressed with the results of your face lift! The surgeon did an amazing job! Wow!
Thank you for taking us along on your experience and being so raw and transparent! It’s really helped me with my decisions in the future.

I appreciate your transparency and thoughtfulness in covering every aspect of the journey, including the mental one. 😊
thank you for being so honest about the surgeon!! so many surgery vids I watch, the girls refuse to divulge who it is. as if it's some secret information that they don't want to tell us for some strange reason. It's great to see transparency!
Oh no ! We are transparent here ❤️
Thank you for sharing, I am a black South African, just sharing so you know how much reach your videos have.
I really appreciate this♥
Thank you so much!!
Thanks Lorry! He did beautiful work! I think when the pain is the worst, we get down on ourselves. Your look amazing!
Thank you and agree !
Thanks so much ❤️🩹❤️
Your doctor did an incredible job, I can't believe you're only a few months out. You look stunning! I'm super excited for your kpop series. I hope you will look at one of the older (but still active) groups, SHINee. I'm a huge fan of their music, performance, AND looks, and would LOVE to hear your opinion on what enhancements or maintenance they may have had.
Thank you for being so brave, informative, and thorough. Yours is the best RUclips channel on this topic.
You are absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for your honest and thorough videos about plastic surgery! 💕
Thank you 🙏🏻
Have not seen a vid of someone’s surgeon explain in detail their rationale for each aspect. 👍🏻😀💕
Aww thanks so much ; yes he’s a gentle and caring doctor!
i had breast augmentation several years ago, and i also had that regret feeling once i got home. i literally called my surgeon on the phone at 2 in the morning in a panic because i thought i wanted them out. he said give it a few days and see how i feel. i did get over it, but sounds as thought its very common to have these types of feelings after surgery.
Aww hopefully you love them now !
He really does have an artistry about his work. From looking at your facelift and the others- everyone really does look better than before, even if they looked ok before.
A moderate difference from the front, but a dramatic one in profile.
Honestly all she needed was a bit of chin lipo. I dont see much of a difference in the face
Thank you !! And yes Haters gonna hate
wow - the side pics are insane. loved it. i thought i could get that second pic result only by losing weight but clearly no. great results!
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Hearing what the doc and surgeon had to say was so educational.
Also the result is phenomenal. I really do think he is an excellent surgeon.
But I do think that your style of wearing make up makes you look a lot older, maybe change up some things and you'll look really rejuvenated 🎉
Congrats to survive that hard recovery
Wow..this is still in progress? Lorry, im so happy you did it...You look just like you but 10-15 yrs. younger. Looks like your just glowing naturally!!! The dr. really did a great job. Congratulations to you and your dr. 😍😍😍

Thank you for sharing all this detail! I’m on day 4 of my lower face and neck lift, and was kinda freaking out today. It made me feel so much better to hear that you were also feeling regret/uncertainty about the same timing.

I’m not sure what you are seeing sorry babe
Noticed that too
Not balanced
Thanks for pointing out that the best before and after photos are shot in the same location-same lighting. As well, so important to point out that before and after photos should be without make up. Thanks, again, for such a remarkably thorough presentation.

I have SAME question
I do want plastic surgery, but I e never had a surgery before. I’m so happy I found your channel because you’ve given me confidence to possibly get the procedures I want done!
I’m starting research for my first face lift following some aggressive bone work and this was so helpful!
You're so pretty, I figured you couldn't have looked that different pre-op at only 42. I assumed that was just too young for such a major procedure, and maybe it was premature... But my GOODNESS, as lovely as you were before, you are the most natural looking smokeshow now! I would never in a million years think you'd had work done on your face, I'd just admire your striking, youthful beauty. I completely understand why you chose to do it, and respect the thorough research and care with which you chose your surgeon. You have incredible results; thank you for sharing your experience.
Aww thanks so much !!!
It looks fabulous! It looks so good now and i can't even imagine how great it will look in a years time! Beautiful inside and out.

This doctor sounds like a perfectionist that the type I’d want for any plastic surgery and I like the his description of procedures.
I dont think the mental aspect of surgury is that uncommon. I remember my recovery from taking my four wisdom teeth out I was going over and over about why did I do that to myself, but ultimately it was the best decision ever.
Amazing results! You don’t look like the same person! Great video!
The result is stunning! Your eyes look so much bigger or were the just slowen in the before?? Wow
They do look bigger ; something with the fat grafting to the lower eyelids

I know these before and after photos are "in-progress" but I gave you a slow clap, and yelled out "OH YES!" You look amazing!!
I can tell from offhand comments on your other videos I've watched that there may have been complications as a result (I'm looking at your personal plastic surgery playlist for the first time right now), but as of this stage, wow you are looking amazing!!!
I know I wouldn't have the guts to do it (or that's how it feels right bow), so I appreciate your sharing your journey! So informative!

You have literally changed my mind about face lifts! I used to be SO AGAINST THEM! Just seen too many botched ones. But you have had GREAT WORK done and I just have to say - you literally looked like a 24 year old in the after pictures! That is just incredible! I'll bet not every surgeon can get these results though (like you said). Again, you look GREAT! (But more importantly, you seem to be a good person as well!)
