That will make someone a great project. Take care Rich
It will, he sold it a while ago now.
It definitely needs a lot of TLC. If someone bought it,had all the skills to put this back in top shape, they'd save a ton of labor money. Compared to many of us that would have to take it & have a "good" body shop do much of the work! I bet he wouldn't be selling it for that price if it had a 428! LOL ❤🙂👍🇺🇸
Its half the cost of what someone would be asking for a Cobra Jet GT coupe for sure. It needs paint and some detailing but its a runner and mostly there and original so that is half the battle.
Man Rich! Love it only if I had the money.
Gary this would fit nicely in the stable with the 70 Mach, the 92 GT and your wife's Shelby! I hope you are all safe and well.
Haven't heard from you in a while Rich. Hope you are doing well.
I have been pretty tied up being a single parent in the Covid world so I simply have had to shelve the channel for a bit. Stay tuned Lloyd I am back in action this week, er, well next week.
My BF says he wants it! I am not sure if he will call Paul or not but he loves the car, we are driving and he always has me watch your videos and report ...hhahaha
Haha, we it's a good deal tell him to call, a lot of upside on this one. Be safe and be well!
Run it as is and enjoy it!
Yep, yep, yep! Have a great weekend Matthew and hope you are doing well.
I hope our ole friend Rich is doing ok, we haven't seen him in a good long time.
Been busy with life and taking a short break, will be back soon. Thanks for checking in, I hope all is well with you. More videos on the way.
@@MustangConnection1 Happy New year. Peace out
Very cool
I'd be so tempted to install Mach 1-style/Deluxe interior in white. Not sure if Mach-style seats were an original option for the coupe. GT stripes in White, to tie-it all together. That would look REALLY good.
John, Yes Hi-back buckets( mach-1) seats were an option except on the Grande package.
They always look better with the deluxe but it's a costly change over for sure. Hope you are well and safe.
@@MustangConnection1 Ive never seen nor heard of this on the option sheet. be very surprised if this were true
Cool car , hope all is good Rich.
Steve, thanks and hope all is well with you too.
i imagine it wont be long before it finds a new home
Time will tell how the how the Covid deal will effect these kinds of projects selling.
Hi, Rich not seeing much of you lately,
Hey John, I have been tied up being a single parent to a 10 year old who is remote learning. Couple that with Covid-19 destroying my "regular" business and its been a challenge of late. I have lots of updates and projects to report on so I will be back soon. This is the longest break I have taken in 10 years so I hope my core followers are still around when I return. Thanks for checking in John, I hope you are well and safe.
@@MustangConnection1 Keep up the good work!!!
Hey Rich where you been no videos for 6 months are you still around
Hey, Yes but Covid has laid the hammer on my time, money and schedule. I am a single Dad with full time home duties now that my daughter has to learn remotely. I had to give up my shop space that was a 100 miles outside of Los Angeles where I live. Thanks for checking in, I plan on getting back on the projects and videos soon so please hang in there with me.
@@MustangConnection1 ok mate hang in there
Hey Rich, where you based? For some reason I thought you were in the Central Valley. I am restoring a one owner 390/ 4 speed Mach 1 right now that was originally black jade. I m in Fresno. - Morgan
No, Rich is in L.A. County.
Morgan, As John noted I am in Los Angeles, I hope your 390 Mach is coming along nicely.
@@MustangConnection1 thank you. I am impatient and alway want to get things done faster than they do but making good progress. Thanks for your reply. -Morgan
Any idea of the shipping charge to ship it to Canada?
Brian, Good question, it depends on where you are located and what type of transport you choose( enclosed-not enclosed) etc. There a so many brokers that rep independent haulers as well as the big auto trucking companies like Reliant and Intercity.
Why did he wanna sell it?
He has two other's . He seems to be a magnet for 1969 GT 390 cars
did he sell it ?
I am not sure I think so.
Hey Rich! Need some big help. (Since ur a mustang expert) I just purchased a 1969 mustang fastback “L” code with a 250 1b v6 motos all original. U know any info about this car ? Is it rare? I’ve just heard about the mustang “E” but not much about the “L”.. thanks rich hope to hear from u soon
The "L" just denotes your engine code from the factory. The E Mustang stood for Economy and they didn't sell very many of the "E" specials. The only way to verify if it was an E special is to order a Marti report.
MustangConnection1 yeah the guy that sold it to me says he’s the second owner and the car stayed original. But it does have a 302 all original with the “L” code with 60,000 miles . But imma get into that Marti report thanks rich . Love ur Chanel
