Superb vids and photos Dave. I live near LKZ/MHZ so see these F15's a lot and on occasions the Typhoons fly over my house but I'd love to get over to the mach loop one day. Subbed you 👌👍
Thanks. Well worth a visit, if traveling that far though i'd recommend two days to give your self a good chance of seeing some planes and not leaving dissapointed.
Honestly, i feel like it would be cool to have a whole squadron painted up in the late war grey and green camo with yellow leading edges. The invasions stripes are cool, but a bit incongruous on the Tiffy, since the "tail" stripes intersect on the main wing.
I avoid Fridays, fog/low cloud forcasts to try and boost chance as much as possible, but the rest is luck. Also check facebook pages for conningsby and Lakenheath to make sure the bases aren't on night operations.
30 years of Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon in 2024, 50/35 years of F-15/F-15E in 2022/2021, 50 years of BAE Hawk in 2024 and 35 years of AgustaWestland/Leonardo AW101 in 2022.
@@dbuckle247 MAY 2024 I just think it's a nice touch from the RAF, with a frontline Typhoon FMOG or Moggie. (just like preserving the Chinnock Bravo November......thank you RAF.) But don't forget it's a reflection to mark the D - DAY invasion, the losses on both sides, are proof that war doesn't solve all problems in life. The generations of people who laid down their lives must never be forgotten in our lifetime or in the future too. Time WW1 and WW2 and the Falklands war is taught in all our schools, with visits to a local RAF Museum to be made part of classroom experience. When I was a kid we visited a local fire station, got to meet coppers, I saw more armed forces veterans marching on remembrance Sunday in November, than in the actual armed forces service personnel in active service. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🤔🤔🤔🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗👋
It's non regulated airspace, if you look back at one of my older videos a L39 went through which is privately owned. Guess it's similar to you could legally fly a drone there, but there is now signs up everywhere warning people not to.
Why don't the US build its 5th generation fighter Air Crafts must flying over 5,000 miles per hour to avoid the enemy intercepter missiles? It needs to build it to qualify as the Advanced Fighter for New Generation.
Now THAT’s a Typhoon !!! Best Eurofighter livery ever ❤❤❤
💯
They ALL should be painted up like that!
its pretty but there are better ones
Moggy looks fab
💯. Much prefer it to blackjack
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
Invasion stripes and... Gorgeous!❤
Yep, stunning
That paint scheme is fantastic.
I think so
I know right, I didn't even know Adidas made planes!
Am currently in UK from Aust and was doing tour through Wales and saw the typhoons fly past. Absolutely way cool thanks for the vids guys.
A sight and sound you probably won't forget
@@dbuckle247 yes angry engines not like an A380 or 787.
The F15's managed to set a car alarm off both times they came through
Brilliant photography, congratulations.
Thank you so much 😀
It looks marvellous on that Moggy livery as it looks super cool and great footage !! 😎
Thanks
@@dbuckle247 you are welcome David , cheers, from Singapore !! ☺️👍

Yeah,I know it is getting a bit old now,but still love the F15

Absolutely fantastic pictures👏👏defo some of the best I've seen 👌 😊
Thank you
A busy day ...awesome video's and pics
Thanks, yes best I have had for a long time.
The Typhoon's are very pretty, with those supermodel chiseled looks, but the F15 is sexy AF.
They look great and sound awesome. They set a car alarm off each time they came through, typhoons didn't manage that 😆
amazing airshow video 👍👍
Thanks
Fantastic - I wish I was fit enough to get up there !
A lot of people stop at the Bwlch and just view from the carpark
@@dbuckle247 Thanks - will give that a go - got a new camcorder & mirrorless camera that need to get out & about !!
@@dbuckle247 David, have you got any stills of MOGGY on the internet that I could use just one on my desktop home pc please ?

Yeah camo is soooo much better than grey to look at IMO. Obviously not in real world combat situations though or they would be that colour haha.
Looks like the USAF lads have been given the 👍 to go a bit lower these days. Brilliant!
The lower the better 😃
I never get enough F-15 ; that American AirPower-

watch that video, thats the most F15 passes i've had in a single day
Beautiful. Well done, guy.
Thank you

Thanks for watching
I understood the white stripes were Normandy Landing stripes to set them apart from German fighters.
Indeed, although called Invasion stripes.
Fabulous 👌
Thanks 🤗
Anyone know what the black smudge halfway up on the fuselage/ wing union on the Typhoon is?
It's from the exhaust for the APU.
How do you guys know when they’re flying, is there information online somewhere or is it just pot luck sit, wait and hope?

Great footage and pictures Dave. What setup do you use. Just subbed
Thanks. For photos a Nikon D750 with Sigma 150-600. Video is with a panasonic VX1 with a rode mic.

It does go to show that MOG looks cool with D-Day black and white stripes on it.

Indeed, personally think camo without the stripes would look better, but it looks good with them

Yeah best day I've had for a while. Hope you got down before the rain and thunder came 😄
@@dbuckle247 I did i left around 13:00 as i knew it was coming. Missed the merlin but im more than happy with Moggy
you caught one of the rare typhoon variants 2:02
Yeah, not many twin sticks about
I thought the RAF had scrapped its 2-seater Typhoons ?
There is at least two, as saw ZK383 last month and its ZK379 in this video
Can anyone fly this route? Or is it military only?

I’ve worked alongside typhoon for a long time and I love it. But for me, that scheme just doesn’t suit it/work at all…….sorry! Great footage ❤️
It seems to have divided opinions a lot. I don't think it's as good as GiNA was, but I prefer it over blackjack
Mmmmmm
The F15 was names as such because against Russian fighters it would last 15 seconds at best 😂
🤣
