Well, when a thief is persistent he'll manage somehow but with this thing at least that will be hard to pull off so it is most definitely one of the coolest protection gadgets out there.

Nice - although how would it work if someone cut the phoneline/fibre before breaking in, presume you get an alert for connection lost, or some heartbeat?

Question time: does it also protect the left non-moveable side of the sliding door in the video? I read of some guy installing a sensor and he said to install you have to open and close the door/window. Would be a bit stupid if it can't protect windows that cannot open but I had to ask.
