    it was such a relief to know maths wasn't your subject either because I've lost all basic touch with maths in the past 2 years and math section is the only thing scaring me away from the dsat but hearing your experience was so motivational:)

      I’m glad to hear that you feel motivated by this. Honestly, i was very scared too when i first started my preparation. It was never in my mind or plans that i would have to give the SAT too. So i had to take it all of a sudden, and had a limited time, so it scared me a lot. But at the end, before the test day, it was mathematics that made me feel better. I was confident with its preparation specifically, and it turned out well too.
      I hope the same for you. You’ve got this

    Hey I appreciate you made this video. I'm am intl. student from Vietnam and I actually took my first SAT on June 3 and got a 1490. I didn't expect that score since I only got 1460 on practice exam #4 and there were also so much distraction at the test place. Anyway, that's beyond my wildest dream. The only thing I could wish for is at least another 10 points so it kinda looks better lol.

      Mình có thể hỏi bạn một chút được không ạ? Bạn cảm thấy phần Math ở đề thi thật (hôm bạn thi) có level như thế nào so với 4 đề free trong Bluebook vậy? Mình nghe nhiều nơi nói độ khó của đề free Bluebook tương đương với đề thi thật. Mình toàn bộ là tự học nên đôi khi hoang mang bởi những "legend says" này. 2 trong 4 đề Bluebook mình làm, mình đạt được điểm lần lượt là 1350, 1450, mà mình thấy Math section 98% quá dễ, dễ hơn rất nhiều so với các bài luyện tập mình làm ở Migii app. Rất mong chờ sự phản hồi từ bạn! Mình cảm ơn nhé!

    • @ZYProductions_
      @ZYProductions_  Год назад +6

      I would’ve loved to share my timetable with you, only if I had one haha. I am being really honest here, but believe me, I have never ever followed any strict timetable up until now in my entire academic career.
      For SAT, well I studied for 6-8 hours a day approximately. It also means that some days, when I was not in the mood or I was not able to focus completely, I would hardly study for two hours only. Whereas on the other hand, some days I would study for 10+ hours a day. This is how I’ve been working all my academic life, and it somehow always works for me too! And I strongly believe that other students should not push themselves with a strict timetable. It is just my own theory, or opinion I guess.

    • @ZYProductions_
      @ZYProductions_  Год назад +1

      Yes, you are allowed to take a portable charger with you to the test centre, however, there’s no guarantee that your test centre will have the plugs or other such facilities. They may or may not provide you with those. For that, you should try to select the best of all the available test centres, like I myself tried to select the most reputable test centre here in my city although it was not the closest to my house. Plus try taking a device with good battery health, and make sure that it is 100% charged right before you leave your home for the test centre. It will be enough to last for 2 hours and 30 minutes approximately.
      I used my iPad for my test day. I guess I was the only one with an iPad in my centre, rest of the students had their laptops with them.

      If you don’t have a device, you will request one from the college board. While registering for the test, they ask you a question about the device that you’ll be using on the test day. They ask you whether you have a device of your own, or you are going to borrow it from someone, or you want one from the college board. So you just have to select that option that i would like to request a device from the college board.

      Not as much as it is for the mathematics section, but yes, you may want to use the ‘Writing Section’ only to prepare for the grammar-related questions. Reading portion is very different and irrelevant and i would not recommend you using that part to prepare for the DSAT.

    • @ZYProductions_
      @ZYProductions_  Год назад +1

      No question is a stupid question, you can ask me anything, and I will be glad to help.
      Yes, you can take it in the 11th grade. In fact, many students start taking the SAT by the 11th grade so that they can get their desired scores by the 12th grade at least before applying to their desired universities. You know, it might be possible that a student may not get his/her desired scores on the first attempt, so they may want to attempt it twice or maybe thrice. But make sure that the university you’re applying to will consider your scores if you attempt it in the 11th grade. Most of the universities do, but some are exceptional. For example, the university I am applying to this year considers SAT scores expired after 1 year. So just make sure of this thing, and start preparing to rock your test!

    • @ZYProductions_
      @ZYProductions_  Год назад +1

      And digital SAT is not the only thing required by great universities. SAT scores sure do add great value to your college application, and some universities include SAT scores in their requirements for applying. But they do consider your past academic records, your co-curricular activities and community service, etc as well.
