Followed this recipe but added a few other ingredients. I think Nando’s rice has Cumin so I added 1 tsp of Cumin powder and also 1 cube of chicken stock. Tasted exactly the same!
This was so good and tasted just like nandos rice. I found the official recipe online too and found it interesting that you tweaked things so I also did a little tweak. I finely chopped the chilli in rather than having the whole things in and also rather than adding the spices to the water, I mixed them all up together and then added it to the onion peppers to toast it up a bit before adding soaked rice. Only wished I used a little less water, maybe because I soaked the rice.
Thank you than you did this recipe I last tried nandos in my country in bd and ever since then I was just couldn’t get enough of it always wanted to know how to make it and it turns out it’s simple in your recipe thank god lol can’t wait to try it we’re in our fasting month thinking to make it I wonder if you have how to make the peri peri chicken and their suace that would be great 👍
Delicious.... I added some pomegranate gems at the end, the sweet, cold rubies contrasted beautifully with the spice. Definitely a favourite, thanks for sharing 💖 New subscriber 🙂
I always wash my rice and soak it, but for this I went by his method no soak no wash and it was fine turned out great. I use Jasmine rice for this recipe. Hope that helps.
Looks delicious. I’m confused about the onion. I eat at Nando’s about 3 times a week on my lunch break and I always order the rice. However, I’ve never seen onions in the rice. I wonder if they use onion powder instead!

@@waqarhussain4556 no problem, let me know how it turns out also I put sweet chilli paste from Asda and that gives it a nice warmly taste.
@@yasminabegum01 Sure I’ll let you know once I get round to it. I’m sure just settle for chilli paste rather than the sweet one.
