20 to 19 inch wheels would definitely improve the range and noise levels.

Thank you for this test. Also, you a showed us some information from the screen I haven’t seen before. Very good to know. Keep up the good work.

Cooper tires are an American Tire company that have been around for over 100 years.

Great review. I think your test shows that it would be very valuable to compare Q8 50, IX40 and EQE350 driving them together. But I understand that is really difficult to do by yourself :-) From my excel sheet from my own drive with the same car on the same route, the consumptions varies from 21 to 30 under different conditions.

At night, do the lighted MB stars on the dash look nice?

One additional comment when it comes to the Q8 50 vs 55. The weight is the same. I belive the difference in battery weigh is only 27kg. At least that was Audi told me. The 55 pack has much newer cell technology. And I belive it is not correct to say that efficiency in e-tron is related to MLB Evo. e-tron is built from ground as an EV, but uses some parts. Like the brakes from Q7 and the steering column from Q5. But the drivetrain, body, chassis and so on is completly created for electric. Not like BMW i7, Mercedes EQC where they reuse major parts of the body and chassis+++ BMW has proved that you can create efficient cars with shared platforms. I belive efficency is because of choices made by Audi. Like the ASM motors both in front and rear. Just to support the SQ8 setup.

Q8 E-Tron is built on MLB-Evo, that commonness knowledge at this point. It sure about the weight though, but since the 55s battery is 19kWh bigger than the 50s I doubt the difference is only 27kgs

@@KrisRifa yes it is based on MBL-EVO but it is built as an EV from ground. Its a big difference compared to EQC and I7. It is like BMW iX that is based on CLAR platform but build as EV from ground. They just reuse some part not affecting their EV behaviour. You can watch the "Audi e-tron making of" (3:50) video where they explain this. I know Audi engineers is frustrated that people belive based on MLB-EVO its just like the EQC or i7. When it comes to weight it is easy to prove. Just checked the weight on the two cars you have borrowed. The 50 weighs 2655kg, and 55 2662kg. Remember the old battery has really old cell technology. The increased battery size without increasd weight was somthing Audi focused on their pre launch presentation. Audi have claimed to me that the Q8 50 does not have the new rear motor. Something I find strange, so I am not sure.

@@evkxMy friend MLB-EVO is used from 2015 on Audi A4 to Audi Q8 and some Porsche, VW Touareg, Bentley and Lamborghini, so what exactly was developed on Q8 to be electric from ground?

@@Manu-P8 the whole "skateboard" and body is created from scratch. The reuse some parst like brakses from Q7. You can read the details in SSP 675 (google it)

EQE SUV looks the best from EQ family but on eco mode and 26kWh/100km? Maybe I’m used with consumptions from Tesla model Y, but for me what is over 20kWh/100km is way too much!

I've been driving an EQE SUV loaner while my EQS SUV gets repaired. Neither one is good with bumpy roads / pot holes. You WILL feel the bumps. The suspension is stiff even in comfort mode! The EQS's massaging seats features a weak massage. So if you're looking for a plush ride and with a good deep quality massage, look elsewhere. Oh, and I was firmly told by Mercedes Benz staff that if I switch the original air suspension to a more plush after-market one, it will void the 4 year warranty.

If neither both of the EQE SUVs are good the why do you own one? You don't do a test drive before you bought the car? Your story don't add up.
