Quintin Demps is just as fast as Hooker or Adams' 40 times. Don't get overexcited even if the Bears land Hooker or Adams. We'll see how they adjust to the NFL. Demps has already had NFL interceptions and played against the Patriots etc.
Adrian Amos is a good player, and still on his rookie contract. The Bears also run a different defense than the Buckeyes ran, so Hooker would need time to learn a whole new system while defending against Rodgers and Stafford.

Fun Fact: Late in the second quarter, Clemson was leading 10-0, and Watson threw a slant route that Hooker probably would have taken to the house. He breaks on the ball incredibly fast, but the ball was batted down at the line. If Watson doesn't get that ball batted, Hooker has it with no one in front of him. In fact, Clemson didn't test him ONCE over the middle during the entire game, they kept their throws either short middle or to the sidelines. Even then, Hooker picked one off in the endzone just due to his freakish range and ball skills. An offense with a bevy of NFL WRs and a 1st round QB didn't want to test him. That's how much fear he puts into an offense, and why, for me, the comparisons to Ed Reed are justified. You don't get safeties that put that kind of fear into offenses but maybe once in a generation. He broke the Ohio State pick 6 career record in a single season as a starter. That's why Clemson would rather have tested Ohio State's 2 1st round corners, than to test Hooker. Dude's a freak, and the Colt's defense just got a LOT better with him roaming the defensive backfield.
