    Thank you Carl, actually nice to know that you aren't a "name" guy and buy according to who makes it. I always say, go and play every guitar in the place and buy the one that sounds best to you, of course considering what you can spend. Thank you for your lessons and time every day! Cheers...

    I love my Gibson sg from 2004! Low action, silver pick guard. Comes with extra humbuckers, Grover tuners, and the pickups are dragon fire screamers. That’s how I got it. Best guitar only one I need until it breaks and I have to take it to a shop.

  • @daeljuma
    @daeljuma 8 лет назад +2

    Thanks for saying the 7-string is too much guitar for you. Your skills are impressive, so it makes me feel better that I just don't "get" playing the 7-string.

  • @Jmilillo

    I'm a Strat guy too. My main guitar is my 2013 Mexican Strat with a custom candy tangerine finish. It looks and sounds killer. I could swap out the pickups if I wanted to, but it sounds so damn good that I don't wanna do anything to it.

    I love my trans black JP100, I purchased it on a whim back in 2013 and it has been an awesome guitar for under 1k. I recently put DiMarzio Dreamcatcher and Rainmaker pups in it and they are by far the best JP pickups yet. Thanks for sharing Carl.

  • @michaelmorada7173
    @michaelmorada7173 8 лет назад

    The Ibanez you have right there is an Ibanez Premium RG927QMZ Red desert loaded with what appear to be JP's signature Dimarzio Illuminator PUPS. The same goes for the Sterling JP100 I think they are also illuminator pick ups. The neck and bridge pickups for the Yngwie signature strat appears to be Dimarzio Andy Timmons signature pickups. That classical guitar is really gorgeous!

    oh man that seventh string.. It's so damn beautiful the red color, sadly the guitar would just hang on my wall since I have no idea how seven strings work :D nice collection man

    • @boowitch1
      @boowitch1 8 лет назад

      It's just an extra b string that is lower than the low e. I don't own one but I played some of the Petrucci models and they are super fun if you like metal stuff or drop tuning. It's like having your guitar in drop-b tuning but you can still have the entire high e.

I would love to see you show "Sponge - Giants" ... I love that song. In my opinion it's the best track on "Rotting Pinata"... Keep up the good work, you were made for this!!

I plan on doing some video work in the near future and as I usually dress all in black I am concerned about using a dark backdrop.
