Since there was no Filipino store close by and we were longing for this wonderful dessert (it's been 5 years), I took a chance...Surprise! I didn't even have to cut the sides, flan flipped over smoothly. It was not too sweet and there were no holes - flan was super smooth and was a total hit with my family. It earned a place in our "must serve again" list!

Texture is different. Usual recipe calls for 10 egg yolks, 1 can evap and 1 can condensed milk and vanilla extract only for the custard.
