My eyes were glued to number 13, I really wanna be able to do that. I am a good setter for my age but his positioning the way he sets himself up and just the angles he sets at is incredible and they are all so accurate as well.
In 5’1 and 6’2 rotations, libero tend to serve when the starting middle comes in, and starting middle will usually serve for the 2nd middle and Play back row for one service rotation while the libero sits out for that rotation. I’m a female and In the US , both genders in the US tend to run these rotations this way.
The first outside is good, the setter hands are like butter liked how he distribute the ball, the first middle #2 has a great jump and bro has a great serve
XCluster gaming you don’t really need to be that tall. Like I’m 5’7 and I can hit pretty well only cause of my jump, but I know tall people like 6 feet that can hit even though they can’t jump that high.
XCluster gaming I’ve only been playing for one year now and I’m actually not that bad. I spent my whole summer this year just practicing everyday and then I eventually became good . It’s never too late to begin, matter of fact my assistant coach started at 15 and he won a gold medal this year in the 18 open on Mountain View volleyball club. Don’t think too much about the net, when you keep playing you’ll learn.
I'm not 100% certain but I believe in the US league volleyball, especially college leagues etc they allow the libero to serve. I think it's to do with training and development
how old are they? I am not from the US so... Because this seems not that good to me...and i dont wanna say anything bad about the playes without knowing more
3:13 am I dreaming that the Libero ist serving (the FIVB - Federation International of Volley-Ball doesn't allow) ?? they play really well for their age ! amazing training to get already that technic.
António André This is a bit late but as a libero this is how I see it. Its the opposite actually. A top spin jump serve would only go one direction. What would make it difficult to receive will depend on the speed. Otherwise, all you have to do is position yourself and literally just wait for the ball to bounce off your arms. Whereas for float serves, the goal is to avoid the ball spinning which in return makes it slower and stay longer in the air. Thus, causing the wind to change its direction and trajectory which makes a float serve more unpredictable as you have to readjust your positioning while the ball is in the air. Although you are right about the unpredictability of where the ball might end up in a top spin serve, but the unpredictability of a floater serve BEFORE even receiving makes the odds of an ace higher.
Juan Crespo Especially those who has mastered the jump float serves! Pain in the ass. A fast top spin is pretty easy for me to receive but jump float serves are just SOOO difficult lol
Couple of tips: cover the hitter. After the set, expect the hitter to get blocked so move right next to him as he hits. Don’t float on your blocks. Blockers Call out your hitters across the net. On an incoming hit, get in position and stand still.

He is an awesome player.

Out of curiosity, how highs the net? Pretty sure at my uni club we play with a 2.4m high net (I live outside the US)
