Thank you I needed to read this book for school and I have a hard time focusing on actually reading a certain amount each night is difficult so listening to someone else reading it is helpful
Bro, you are a lifesaver. I’m not even gonna I’m not playing with you bro like my teacher assigned like a bunch of pages for Fahrenheit that we had to be like right now yeah I’m reading third page 36 all the way up to 65 and like oh my God, bro, I cannot thank you enough because I can. I need somebody to read the book out loud to me like I cannot multi text with my brain. You know I’m saying like I can’t read the book out loud to myself and and then process the information to know what’s happening and annotate at the same timeso thank you. Everybody’s subscribed to this man.
Wanted you to know that audiobooks are more common now and you can also subscribe to audible. This reader is exceptional because he points out key ideas and helps the listener to think about what he has read.
the lady burning with her books reminds me so much of how people will die for their religion, or for something they believe in. this book has made me realize that we don’t think we live in a dystopian world because we think we are free. in the hunger games, it’s described as a dystopian world to us because looking at it does look like one, but they don’t think it’s a dystopian world. to them it’s just how things go because of their government and how much they have inscribed in their brains that their life is normal. we live in a dystopian world and technology is literally ruining us i haven’t finished this video yet, but i just wanted to point out that i admire and respect the author for including that particular scene in the book, and i don’t know yet if it’s a part of a butterfly effect that changes the outcome of the book, but it just feels all the more real
Thank you from a fellow English teacher who was teaching without a voice today! I usually read this scene with Captain Beatty aloud because it's pretty dense but very important to understand. I was scrambling to find a read aloud video because I knew I wasn't going to be able to read it today. You did a great job of reading it with character voices, and even stopped to summarize at all the points I would have. So thank you!
