PFF gave us a good score and I gotta say I'm really proud of Ballard this draft I really can't stress that enough and its also helpful that Shane is involved with the picks LFG colts national
YESSSS SHANE HAS TAKEN CONTROL FROM DAY ONE
Absolutely need to hit on the first 2 players drafted... you win championships hitting in the first 2 rounds of the draft...
Way to go colts. Solid draft. Wish Ballard would utilize free agency more but at least he drafts really well.
The cap space is tight
picked rock ya sin and parris campbell over dk metcalf and aj brown
Carlies had 21 missed tackles but he also led his team in tackles the past two seasons. High risk but high reward
Mitchell fell due to character issues, but so did Tyreek Hill. Sometimes, you need a little dog in you. Harrison, Moss, and TO were no saints.
This was very solid draft for colts.
AD can be the future number 1, and instant impact player.
Latu will give us a minimum of 7 sacks or more which will make passing on us much more difficult.
Gould should be very dynamic for the return game and ol options gives such flexibility.
I like the hybrid Lb jaylon we got for pass coverage.
im pleased with this draft and excited to see how we are when these guys get on the field. Lets go Colts!!!
Love the picks.....let's go colts
I don't know if I agree with the grade, but it's better than an F 😂. Ballard deserves some credit.
Change up the 8min prize picks ad. I always just fast forward through it anyway
Inspired
We should have moved up in the 3rd for one of the top corners. Philly got 2 of the top 3 corners in the draft.
Fantastic draft! I want to see Indy bring in a veteran RB and CB on cheap deals.
Jesus is King! Go Colts. Cant wait to see the new guya
12 wins or bust
We won’t know for about 2 years, maybe 3. Latu was on many boards as a late 1st rounder due to concerns with the neck. Mitchell also fell due to health concerns with diabetes. This FO’s track record with 1st and 2nd round picks hasn’t been great…so we will see how these guys translate and if they can stay healthy. I would especially be concerned with Latu’s neck considering he will be playing on field turf/concrete at LOS.
The Colts are getting rid of the current turf for a newer and more player friendly turf starting this coming season.
People do realize Nacua was a 5th round pick last year. These analysts are wrong most or the time. Mel Kiper only predicted one first round pick correctly in 2023. Everyone knew Bryce Young was going first.
How did the draft compare to his list of ranked players? I am guessing more than one player in his top 30 were first round picks. You are kind of playing with words here. No, he didn't predict which players would go to a specific team, but no one gives a shit about that if he properly ranked the players according to their value. So when he predicts a guy to go top 5 and he goes top 5, it really doesn't mean shit which team picks him.
@@jirikurto3859 Mel Kiper's 2023 prospects list:
1. Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia
2. Bryce Young, QB, Alabama
3. Will Anderson Jr., OLB, Alabama

@jirikurto3859 He put Levis over Stroud. Stroud went 2nd, and Levis went 33rd.
@@RonnieM90 So he predicted more than one first round pick.

Jesus is King
King of what? 😆
Amen
Isn't a king lower than Jesus?
@@zacharyheck6453 KING of kings! LORD of lords! He's HIM.... Savior of the World...
@@sadalliecole3418well he's need to hurry and save the world.. we been waiting too long and tired of this worldly bull****
The Colts picked the kid from Missouri because he hits people like a sledgehammer, he misses tackles because he's trying to hit them as hard as he can
A- /B+ grade from me.
Latu good pick, Mitchell should be. He should have moved up for one of the top corners, he could of got a top running back in the 4th.
He over focus’ on the number of picks and creating competition instead of getting play makers who will win games.
We have JT? And my guess is we’re going to go and get a vet corner, which is really what we need. We don’t need another rookie, we need a vet boundary corner
@@tylerrobertson7919 How many games did JT miss last year? We don't have moss any longer and JT doesn't play every down and we don't want him to. As for corner getting a vet or drafting a player, either way is a crap shoots.
@@scottc3029 I mean, getting a vet corner to add to our corner room of mostly rookies or second year players is more what I was thinking about, but yes JT was hurt some last year, but the majority of he time he missed was still the injury from the year before (first six weeks and then retweaking it). With a full off season of recovery, he should be fine. And I know that no one wants to hear it because he dropped the bad pass in the Texans game, but Tyler Goodson showed that he had some gas in that Pittsburgh game
Every year is the same after draft colts done so good , but come season and game time they don't play up to their potential. Stop with all the xtra hope let's wait after few games see how they actually play.
No we didn’t. Failing to trade up to get one of the top 3 receivers costs an entire letter grade.
Dude we weren't going to get Harrison. We got Adonai Mitchell at 52! How is that not good enough?
@@RenegadeGamer89 We had the draft capital to trade up.
No. You are wrong. You didn't watch the draft. We picked the best WR in the draft in 2nd round
And you are not a Colts fan. You wish bad for the the Colts. Trading up would have ruined whole draft
@@slibertas1996 going from 15 to Harrison/Nabers/Odunze range was gonna cost us at least another 1st, 2nd, 3rd and other picks, probably players too. Those teams also would have to agree Ballard, said he was on the phone and no one was moving. I'll say it again WE GOT ADONAI MITCHELL AT 52, with 2 5th rounders and a stud DE. How are you still mad about that?
