Does it matter whether you use wax paper or parchment paper? Is one better than the other?
Wax is a bit more effective than parchment but they both work
Are you using black buttercream to outline the image?
Yes, it’s black buttercream.
would this work with greaseproof paper?
I’ve personally only done it with wax paper. I would think as long as it is a non stick baking paper it would work.
Where do you get the mirror images for things like this?
I just print them from a Word document. I use a text box and then use the option of spinning it around 180 degrees
Everything is buttercream?
Yes, everything is buttercream and where you see an image standing up and more 3D it has a chocolate backing.
