The symbol that shows up at the end of the broadcast being interrupted. Its from the movie Arrival, which is also an alien esque film, except they're cooperative aliens this time but I was like "Oh hey I've seen that symbol before"

I was holding out hope that the aliens were more like ET rather than Mars Attacks or Independence Day
The description of the objects was also familiar.
It wasn't that they were "friendly",they came to advance us to use us for a purpose they never revealed.
Only that "We help humanity,in 3000 years,humanity help us."
They never revealed what it was they had a use for us,for.
Only that they needed our help,whatever "help" means to them in what they need from us.
That always bothered me as a reward for one of my favorite films.
If they had figured we weren't useful to know,would they have ever made contact?

For something to have risked its existence in the attempt even to come all the way here....
What would have attracted it of such interest or concern to have committed itself to do so.

Thankfully, a technologically advanced civilization would have little reason to attack Earth. Water is in more locations then Earth, and the time and resources that traveling to Earth would take, would render an attack unnecessary.

I watched the movie Arrival back in 2017, and it was a lot more realistic than people give it credit for. But this one seems to be a mix between Arrival and Independence Day.
