It always amazes me how humble the ones who can sing are. They don't go in cocky and argumentative like the one's who sound like trash. They're always shy and when they're waiting for the judges they're so anxious and hopeful and afraid that they'll be told they suck. Yet the one's who can't sing a note stand there saying they're better than Cher and Michael Jackson and throw a fit when they're told no.

The only audition I’ve seen that was very sure of her talent bordering on cocky(justifiably so) was Jennifer Hudson.
I have watched alot of audition videos and I have always noticed this to be true...p.s.no one should be cocky.its not pretty
I never should told about myself that I was amazing!!! Have you ever saw Debbie Stevens, Rachel Lester or that awful Rhonetta?!! They stood there, and without blinking their eyes, they told that they're so amazing, they got a 10 out of 10 voice on a scale, but when they opened their mouths it was so terrible. And angry that they were! Telling the judges that they're the best in the universe. Later I saw only mugshots off Rachel and Rhonetta, you can google them. And that awful monster Ian Benardo, before he began, he told Simon, I already have an impressive resumé, I'm a SUPERSTAR, a singer and a dancer. Simon said, Ian, with all the respect, you're not a superstar. Ian, yes I'm a superstar, you can ask my therapists. How many therapists do you have? I have two. Well, that says it all! Horrible people! 😝😝😝😝😝😝😝

The girl Amy has one of the most beautiful voices I have heard in a very long time. I can easily imagine her singing in some Disney movie ! I can’t believe the judges weren’t more profuse in their praise of her performance!

People think he was an overnight success. Nope! He had to work very hard to become the huge superstar he is now.
To think how many people have got no from the judges and had actually potential to become a star. Of course he learned and grew to what he is today.
I agree with Louis he wasn’t great and you definitely didn’t think one in a million, more like average joe.

@Abe Roman its not just about luck here, to make it in the music industry and stay you have to put loooots of practice, dedication&hard work in general othervise you are quickly forgoten! People give all of them usually&even that lots of time isnt enough..

And when all the dust settled after these auditions 4th impact is still my favorite to this day. They are now still popular in their part of the world and continuing their journey.
Jay james touched my heart in a way it hasn't been touched before, I actually welled up for the first time in a while, he gave me literal goosebumps because hes that good. I wish I can hear this forever.

I saw Janet Devlin’s audition shortly before my oldest niece, Autumn, was born. I was there for her birth, and when her mom asked me to write something in her baby book, all I could think of was Janet singing this song. So I wrote the “Your Song” lyrics.
