Man they missed a trick not releasing this in some form. I love the opening song on the new album where they used these lyrics but the tune hear is MEGA
That instrumental cannot go to waste. Change up the lyrics / melody and boom new 1975 bop. Hard to pick but i think the album version still meshes with the album quiet well.
The new intro is good but this is phenomenal. They could’ve sampled some of the ambiences of the first 4 1975 songs into the beginning of this to throw everyone off then go into this. Sheesh
This is ridiculous good. The released version is great and my favorite opener out of all of them, but this is just crazy good. I know it will never happen, but I would die for an official release.
I really like this version but I would be in trouble if I had to choose between this one or the oficial one because the oficial seems to fit better on the concept of the album
This. Whilst this version is an absolute tune, the one they went with it’s just perfect to intro the album and the loop back to it after the whole album is unbeatable.
Love it love it.. sounds purposeful. Wish I was there writing with you guys sounds like fun. I sometimes wish I had a band but it's just me and another person ... does that quantify a band lol we dn't even jam together, I do my parts he does his. post more of these they are great love to hear the process 😚
@@shadowsetlover I actually dn't really know what you would call it I dnt do categories really as the style changes with mood and what my life situation is. They could do another trilogy like The 1975 intros but the next two are versions of this... Plot twist. Can see it happening because they have done similar
Absolute nonsense, this sounds exactly like what LCD Soundsystem did in the 2000s. So does the final version of this song The 1975 did not invent this sound at all, they were so late to the game that they only started using it after LCD Soundsystem broke up.
they need to release this version of the album because the final album just ends up feeling super dry and scratchy amongst some really bad whiny vocals
"Fuck maybe this is better" lmao
It was at this moment (He Knew, He Fucked Up) - The 1975
I hate to say it, but I agree. I love this version more than the one they released 😭
Man they missed a trick not releasing this in some form. I love the opening song on the new album where they used these lyrics but the tune hear is MEGA
Definitely agree
The final version is definitely better for the album tho
they could honestly release as like a remix on a deluxe version of the album. matty. please. i need this.
They have done alternate versions before, haven’t they. I don’t want to get my hopes up but man would that be incredible. This is crazy good
God I wish there was an entire version of this
im pretty sure its on soundcloud its like 4 mins long
@@pmootewhere? I need it!
This is too good to not be released. Release it as a full track. About Time (Alternate Version).
just finished the final mix of that one today
you’ll have it soon 🙏
@@mistermusicman God bless you. I've been coming here everyday.
Pleaaaass make this, been here like 20 times today looking 😂

Jack Antonoff has me mad as hellllllll, I love the album version but daaaamn, please never touch a 1975 track ever again 😭
Literally 😭😂
no because theyre both incredible and jack did an incredible job but this is so 1975 as well
How is Jack related to this? I’m confused please help me lol
@@jakekendrick8608 jack antonoff helped produce the recent album, bringing his own pop sound to the album. actually i enjoy both.
i really hope the next album is produced by george only. love jack but i need that raw 1975 sound.
LMAO BJORK WITH THE TV 😭

i agree
This version should of been finalized instead, so good, definitely hear the LCD Soundsystem 'All My Friends' vibe.
i love hearing these demos so much. I still listen to the one they shared from "it's not living" a lot.
I really like this version but I would be in trouble if I had to choose between this one or the oficial one because the oficial seems to fit better on the concept of the album
Exactly I agree but this one is MAD 🔥
Yeah. Agree. Man would I love a nerdy deep dive into their off cuts
This. Whilst this version is an absolute tune, the one they went with it’s just perfect to intro the album and the loop back to it after the whole album is unbeatable.
i love the album version so much
damn this intro sounds so nostalgic:') i love it
fuuuuck this is soooo good if ONLY this was the official track
this sounds like The Naked and The Famous. pretty cool
I pray every night they release this
Would have liked this version on the album as well as The 1975 as the opening track, would have been a nice motif type moment! Love this version
We need the songs that they didn't release, let's protest
This is quite better!!! The 1975 old school
Why are all the demos so good?!
this this THIS I really hope they release a BFIAFL Delux and this is on it omg this is a million times better my jaw litterally dropped
They need to release this, this snippet is so good !! Would’ve been unreal on the album
Has to be the opening track for the next album, too good not to have a full version of this song
ubiquitASS
I LOVE this version….can’t stop listening to it just wish it was longer!!!
You guys are geniuses at making great music!
I’m mad they didn’t release this version 😭
They should have used this instead
OH GOD THIS IS SO GOOD.
Please release this as is I am obsessed
I kind of prefer this...
this slaps omg
I wish this was a full track 😭😭
GODDDDDD THIS IS SO GOOD it kinda reminds of their song Paris 🫶🫶
i love this one so much oh my god
i'm devastated that they did not release this.
This is better than the one that they release .
the line how can you make kids pay attention in class with the world in a state of ebiquitass is insane
THIS IS HEAVENLY
I really love it 😍
I’ve been looking for this! 🖤
sometimes i pretend this is the original version and matty speaking is just part of the lyrics
Yeah matty it is better tbh lol The pretentious orchestral and oversaturated ambiance is still great, but this is a bop and not just an album intro
‘Bjork is gonna be pissed’ hehehehee
I keep checking back to see if they release this version lol
Sounds better than the 1975
"fuck maybe this be'er" yeah matty it is
The released version is good, but this is godly.
Dios aún hay temas más chidos y no salió en el álbum :((
This should be the openingggg fuck
Ohhh sounds very good 🎉 🎊
Holy fuck, why....this sounds so good!
i need an official releaseeee holyyyy craaappp
This is the official The 1975 track for me
This has to be released. Please the 1975
Take a Picture and Time To Pretend vibes
Why are all of my favorite songs by them their unreleased demos?
this 100% should’ve been the intro track. they missed the mark with this for sure!
i need this released
We all wanted this to be the track on the album, don't give a shit about concepts this is definitely better.
1:31
Yes, indeed it is
I need this to be released 🤧
I kept in loop just to trick my mind it's the whole song
loveee
I wish they actually gonna release the unreleased songs into George's project. But I'm kinda giving up high hopes from them
Gracias ❤🇨🇴🎉
I feel like I want producer/ artist commentary on albums
This and The Anxiety Music are incredible. Could you upload that one too?
I’m sorry this is better than the actual “the 1975”
I thought I was getting older and not vibing with artists I used to love...turns out it's just Jack Antonoff
That’s so real omg
