    To those crying about your artists being 'ruined' by this man? Your artists are adults that made an artistic decision. If you don't like the collaboration? Your artist ruined themselves, Jack didn't force them. They asked HIM. They approved the product. Jack is a really versatile producer, but if the artist aint adventurous? Welp, he goes back to factory settings. Blame YOUR artist. They're in control of the interaction and what the final result is

    This whole record sounds awesome (except I'm not particularly a fan of the obnoxious reverb on 'About you'). People hating on this guy are either jealous of his success or sad cause you have to use 7 plugins to make anything sound half decent

    • @shayeasy
      @shayeasy 2 месяца назад

      @@mickpedder5990 it is solely because I detest his musical and creative style and his production and songwriting choices. incredibly bland and derivative. there’s a viral video of a guy guessing if taylor swift songs were produced by him or not within seconds of them playing that demonstrates it perfectly.

    • @mickpedder5990
      @mickpedder5990 2 месяца назад

      @shayeasy 'Detest' is a very strong word. I can not be a fan of someone's music, but I don't detest their style or why they do something a certain way. And if you feel like you do detest this person, don't click on and comment on his videos cause that's only benefiting this person that you 'detest'.

      I really like listening to him talk about production he works with a lot of people I like. I think he gets the sound he wants but god I find the songs so fucking boring. That Taylor swift album is easily her worst one because of him producing basically all of it.

      He's a better producer than songwriter. His records sound great but the melodies are always B, never A+.
      And yes I get that in most cases the artists he's writing with come up with the melodies, but there's an art of coaxing better melodies out of artists - and he doesn't seem to be good at that.

    I'm surprised to hear Antonoff diss Leonard Cohen as preachy (miming with a cool guy cigarette move). Antonoff's successes speak for themselves, he doesn't need to elevate by stepping on Cohen's body of work.

    People hate him but he's the most sought after producer these days and artists have a reason they want him to produce their songs. Artists got tired of "radio friendly" material that takes away their creativity and instead they want freedom of artistic expression. That's where Jack comes in and delivers!

    Have you noticed this guy just made sabrina carpenter sound exactly the same as taylor swift in her recent album ? go and listen to the songs he produced, it's crazy and not in a good way he just convert them or something I dont know, definetly not a producer who deserves something he it's just making all tracks sound exactly the same music definetly needs a change man everything it's getting pretty boring at this point.

    • @CyberneticArgumentCreator
      @CyberneticArgumentCreator 2 месяца назад +8

      Oops did you accidentally forget that Jack worked with both of those artists, so both of those artists actually sound like Jack's production, and not the other way around?

    • @yuli8897
      @yuli8897 2 месяца назад +3

      @CyberneticArgumentCreator oops so you are telling me that being a producer it's make them sound exactly like another artist ? That's not a signature sound that's basically recycling. A producer can have a unique sound in terms of production, but definetly its a no if you make another artist sound like another artist I'm saying this because I was listening Sabrina carpenter new album without looking at the credits and literally I thought it was Taylor swift or a featuring when I read all the credits she's not there in any way, it's just this dude who make artist sound just like Taylor and obviously the songs are literally Taylor swift recycled songs per se. But that's what happens when you don't know how to make another type of rhythm.

    • @yuli8897
      @yuli8897 2 месяца назад +2

      @MariJu1ce you are right, but it has to be taken as a consideration...his success is entirely made by Taylor Swift. At this point, anyone who works with her will have immediate success in other hand see max Martin work with Taylor legendary songs and he doesn't transform any of his other productions with other artist into Taylor swift sound that's a great producer right there he knows exactly what can he bring to the table to any artist he choose to work with and make it an absolute hit no matter who. But Jack makes others sound like Taylor 🤣🤣 take a look at Sabrina carpenter last album 🤣🤣🤣
