To those crying about your artists being 'ruined' by this man? Your artists are adults that made an artistic decision. If you don't like the collaboration? Your artist ruined themselves, Jack didn't force them. They asked HIM. They approved the product. Jack is a really versatile producer, but if the artist aint adventurous? Welp, he goes back to factory settings. Blame YOUR artist. They're in control of the interaction and what the final result is

Artists got tired of "radio friendly" material that takes away their creativity and instead they want freedom of artistic expression. That's where Jack comes in and delivers!
How do you know Jack is a pro? Not the gear, not the mixer, not the expensive monitors, just because he is using the best wired mouse and keyboard for pro tools that ever existed.
Does the most basic production anyone has ever achieved and cops Grammy after Grammy. Quincy Jones is rolling in his grave at this guy’s success, this is exactly the type of thing he was talking about when he said people aren’t masters of their craft anymore.
jack antonoff: clearly brilliant, highly unrelatable, occasional maker of some great music in spite of, not because of, all of his weird techniques and ideas, in my opinion.
