nothing to be scary. you are under 40 and dedicated and passionate with all other ingredients you can also do it. But first love what you wanna do and relentless pursuit of it will get you there.

Congratulations to Korir and Kenya! Home of proud runners. Still the track and field misses David Rudisha very much!
Kenya is always the best to all the long races. I've to watch the many time they ran. Congrats.

I LOVE CHEERING OUR ETHIOPIAN NEIGHBOURS TOO
All of the men should be proud that they made it to the finals as it means they are one of the top runners in the world
Then winners loose there value
@@nothing-ti7ps No they don't. They beat the top runners of the world. Plus there was miliseconds between each racer which goes to show how amazing all each athlete is
It just means they were the ones selected. Countries have a cap on who can run so by no means are some of these guys the top in the world. I noticed this when the Wast Africans were lapping and finishing minutes ahead of other competitors especially in the longer distances. Like Rotich and Emanuel Korir are not what I would put as our best 800m runners. They are just the ones who qualified on this day.
Exactly! Only one second and change separating first from ninth!
Congrats my country folks, you made us proud!🇰🇪🇰🇪
Legends are Made in KENYA🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
We are proud of you🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪..tunawapenda sana manze
Emanuel Korir is so overwhelmed at the finish that he lets out a whooping noise similar to the one from David Rudisha after David's 2012 Olympic and World Record run. 🏅👏
Exactly.. infact he did it twice
Kenyans made m to cry b, coz of happiness for me am Ugandan but am so happy for your Kenya
Thank you neighbor.
My country men making us proud ❤🇰🇪🙌
Patryk Dobek… niesamowity wyścig
Especially proud of Dobek, since it was his first season competing in 800m!
Impressive how he held on and kept pace with the world's best. You can tell he was very happy with his performance, deservedly so.
Rotich looks majestic jogging almost slo-mo onto the track at 3:05. Kenyan stride is different.

I get goosebumps anytime I see Kenya win
Thank you Korir and Rotich for making us proud.
For all those who want to skip the first few parts, the race starts at 4:41
Thanks sir
Thanks
Kenya wins so many times that the commentators tend to take them for granted and focus on anyone else besides them😀😀, they actually recognise them when they fail to win.
I have noted that too
Koria proof them wrong 🤣🤣🤣
Kenya love from india🇮🇳
Funny how here the announcer calls korir a 400 meter specialist but in Doha when he competed in the 400, he was called an 800 meter specialist
Wow my country people never disappoint 💖💖
Ur Kenyan ? Wow u guys r born to run...
@@musiclove4887 yea am a kenyan
I'm also Kenyan.
Korir got that Paula Radcliffe head bop going.
800m race is the toughest I think from my experience😅..
@John K,
It is and for various reasons:
1. It is neither a sprint nor a distance race.
2. It is for sprinters, mid distance runners and long distance runners. It is for everyone. The polish guy as well as Kerri are sprinters. Obiri is a 5000m runner (Helen).
3. You start each person in his own lane…..sometimes two runners in a lane.
4. You don’t finish in your lane.
5. It is very short …so short, that if you miscalculate or fail un terms of strategy, it is over. You can correct it in a 1500m race because it is long(er) but in the 800, the bell goes very fast when you are way behind if you don’t position yourself correctly. Working your way through with 300m to go is never easy.
You also don't start from the blocks.
Wel represented 💪🏿 my motherland Kenya 🇰🇪 AFRICA 📌📌📌
David Rudisha must have been so proud when he watched the race.
Love from 🇩🇪
Hongerani sana ndugu zetu wakenya

Our athletes making our country so proud 🇰🇪🇰🇪❤❤
Proud to be a Kenyan, moreso a Kalenjin where running is in their genes.
Just imagine The winner here would probably have been last at the London Olympics. The quality of That race may never be repeated again.
Mostly olympics its about winning the race than the time
Different kind of race. Rudisha was in his prime in London, so it was to his advantage to go out hard and have everyone try (and fail) to go with him. This was much more tactical where the race only began hotting up with 200m to go.
That was probably one of the greatest races ever!
Tbf the 2012 800m will go down as top 5 races ever, in human history.
It was a race of a lifetime. Almost everyone in that race never ran faster than that.
Muone masks. Kenya🇰🇪 Iam proud to be Kalenjin.
proudly Kenyan
Respect 🙏👍🏻
Congratulations ❤️❤️
Massive effort from Peter Bol!! 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
My blood pressure is high.I really enjoyed it.👌👌👌. Thanks.
Rudisha must be proud of his countrymen
I miss David Rudisha
Such a beautiful runner
yeah in 2012 he was 5 seconds faster than the people who came first this time
also the guy who came last in 2012 was 2 seconds faster than the kenyans who won here
@@GammaFZ it was a tactical race, all of these runners are capable of running much faster
@@GammaFZ Korir has run 1:42.05
Very happy to see Korir and Rotich winning great finish!
I love my country Kenya
Kenya 🇰🇪is 800m specialist well done keep it up
Kenya are the masters of long sprints and middle distance running.
Absolutely amazing Kenya❤️❤️
The slowest one on the track had problems with everyone. He had to stretch his arm out to push one of the runners, and he still finished last
True.
Big up Kenya 🇰🇪 👏🏿
Korir is somthn else!! so cuteee
Kenya taking their rightful place at the Olympic 800m again.
Edit: Was also rooting for Amos. He's never ran as fast as he did in London.
Amos should have been DQ'd in the semi hence why everyone was pushing him here
No one in that London race, has ever ran as fast as they did in London. It was a once in a lifetime moment.
7 of the 8 runners who ran the 800m finals in London ran their PB that day and never managed to run a faster time.
@@cheropcherop3192 no one from that London group is gonna ran as fast as they did thay day
What has happened to him really? Talent unrealized. What a pity!

Congrats Kenya!!
Congrats to team Kenya👏👏I really Wished Saruni was in the finals it could have been a clean sweep 1,2,3
Now has been suspended wangekujia bronze 🤣🤣🤣
Korir ran smoothly as if he is not running
His head starts bobbing when he goes all out. So you can see he was cruising until 650m.
From 800m going upwards, Kenya is the real deal .
