Wow! Am completely blown away by your talent! The pieces you molded and sculpted are amazing. Love the whole concept of this doll, you did an amazing job. Absolutely love her!!! Keep up the stunning work!

@@ICOULDDOTHATDIY I can see! I've been batting around the idea of a 3d printer for a few days now, my only question is why do so many dollmakers attach joints with elastic? Surely you could use ball and socket joints like the old gens of monster high? I want to make a four armed doll that's more insect inspired, and the amount of elastic commonly used in the joints is what puts me off
@@justaperson4656 depending on the resin you use to print, the 3d printed resin can be more brittle than traditional resin. soo call and socket joints can be tricky. Also depending on the sculpt of the doll the joints can have greater range of poseability and interchangeability. (in my opinion)
@@ICOULDDOTHATDIY Thank you so much for this! The material I'm using to print isn't the strongest, but I'm hoping to find a way to print a doll that can change out body pats such as arms, torso, etc. Mix and match and all that! That's why the elastic seems so strange to me
Wow! So pretty!! Love her! An idea I had after watching Enchantarium’s latest video (the clear smart doll one) that I think would fit your style really well is to print a BJD in a transparent dark blue and make a nebula/Aurora/night sky doll.
@@ICOULDDOTHATDIY Silly Question , Do you have an Etsy shop? Or have you ever tried 3D printing Ice shoes for monster high or ever after high before, I mean it doesn't have to match Elsa's let it go shoes. I just need lovely pair of Ice shoes, I want a much better design of winter shoes. The Snowflake can be on the back of the heal while the front hmm maybe frost shards rising up. I don't have a 3D printer.
Hello there i'd very much like to know on how can I sculpt a ball jointed doll what I'm trying to sculpt is a Quetzalcoatlus since I've seen a lot of other people starting to get into ball jointed dinosaur figurines I thought why don't I give it a try except I can do the sculpting part I just don't know how to do the ball joints and sockets go where and slice it all that could you give me some tips or are there any other sources out there I can use as reference and/or as tutorials
I really just googled a bunch of different bjds and referenced how they looked and tried to imitate the ball jointed mechanics. There are also a few books that helped. I own the Japanese Craft Book "Ball Jointed Doll Making Guide (Cast Doll) which you can get on amazon. It's in japanese but I'm a visual learner and it has a lot of helpful images.
Whoa, most impressive right off is your self sculpted organic pieces, cannot wait to see what you do with it all!!! So far, love her “Trixie Mattel” eyes 👀! 😍 gorgeous repaint.. er, paint! Lol
There's different types of 3d printers. I use a resin printer that uses liquid photosensitive resin and uv light. This type of printer generally results in a smoother surface but still has layers. I think you're thinking of filament 3d printers.
it's not the same as a casted resin doll - 3d printed resins are less durable a sturdy. There are many different types of resin - Liquid plastic resin is a man-made version of natural resin. Resin, in this sense, refers to an artificially made viscous liquid that is combined with a hardening agent to produce plastic.
She is beautiful!!! I’d like to see aliens with different noses and mouths. And maybe eyes on the side instead of up front. Something to think about. Thank you for putting these dolls together. I just bought to very cheap bjd’s and they are only 12” long. But I’m still happy with how they look. Got them off wish.
Loved the video! Never cease to amaze….I think counted like 5-6 times I heard the phrase “modesty panel” only to be followed by a beaded thong on the booty cheeks. 👄👌🏽 *chefs kiss*

where did you get the eye lashes for dolls?
(not sponsored) They're "Kiss" brand eyelashes in the states they are at most pharmacies or i believe you can get them online?
Wow, she looks great!!!
Thanksss
Amazing! You’re incredibly talented!!
Thank you so much!!
Cool 😀
Thanks!
I would like to ask how you deal with the fact that the plastic from the 3D printer rubs between the hinges? :0
I use a matte uv polish on the joints. It helps protect the joints and reduce powdering. check out my video on Introducing Honey for more details!
I love your work! We have a resin printer but I'm nervous to print my first BJD. Do you have an STL you recommend for beginners?
Yes I do! I would try out KOKI BJD by the dollygeek! I believe you can download the stl on thingiverse!
She is so beautiful
Thank you!!

Wait. I thought when u 3d print the surface would be riddled that looks pretty smooth? Can someone explain why

Hello. I wonder if you could tell me Is this resin is the same material that regular BJD’s are made from? Or is this only have the same name ?
