I actually have no clue who any of these guests are because I‘m from Austria, but they are just such lovely and charismatic hosts and all the guests are also so funny and amazing that I really enjoy watching strangers eating and having a chat with literally zero context 😂♥️
omg does that mean you havn't seen "Derry Girls"? I cannot believe I get to recommend this show to someone, everyone I know has seen it - it's irish, it's hilarious and it is sooo cute and quirky! Give it a try!
Same here!! I’m from Canada and I accidentally came across their shorts. Now here I am, watching the full videos of people I don’t know, but loving it because of the charisma and cozy vibes😅🥰
Her comment about her coming from a working class family and her parents trying to encourage her to get a stable job highlights exactly why so many people in ‘The Arts’ are from wealthy families: they have the financial security to encourage their children to go down any path!
I’m from a rural American town and I have limited knowledge of most of the guests on this podcast but it’s incredible and I watch every piece of content they put out
So many things to love about this podcast and this episode in particular. It's so real - Angela cleaning her shirt with a napkin, Siobhan with the napkin as a bib and as always amazing and funny and interesting conversation.
Sister George Michael was my favorite character on the show Derry Girls. And there were so many great characters. Kudos to all of them; that series was outstanding.
Already listened to the podcast but had to come watch the video version too because she was such a delighful guest. Thank you for offering both formats!
Listened to this yesterday while cooking dinner ,had to come here to watch it this morning because I absolutely loved this one and love Siobhán she is brilliant ❤
So excited you have her on she’s sooo funny!! Loved her as Sister Michael! They need to do a second series of Derry Girls where they look at all the girls and James life now as adults.
Having lunch while watching it and haven't laughed out loud like I have while watching something in a long time! Wish it was so much longer than it is!
This appeared on my thread, n it's awesome. Food looks n soundz devine, n I love the hosts, dinner guests n wonderful hearty conversation. Hope everyone had a very festive n Merry Christmas. ⚘️❤️
Angela, I thought you were telling everyone to kneel for the Blessing before beginning to eat! When you said “Right, Kneel” In a loud forthright manner - I thought you were abruptly telling them - “Put your forks down! - don’t start eating yet! I am about to say Grace - so KNEEL! 😂❤😂❤
Just adore Siobhan McSweeney! Derry Girls, what a fab show! And this… What a great podcast! Here I am sitting on my balcony listening to this and then Angela saying: « watch out they’re hot » and Siobhan’s reaction 😅 absolutely priceless. I’m laughing so loudly, my neighbours must wonder if I’m crazy, laughing all by myself! Watching from Canada 🇨🇦 cheers to you all
Fabulous to have you back and see you both . Would like to see all of the create and craft sewing Sunday suppliers and demonstrations on your show if possible ? Big big ask I know but if anyone can do it you can I have faith xxxx
As Medical Medium said: “Napping stabilizes and balances our being, but some believe it’s lazy. Napping is actually a gift from the Angel of Rest and a form of meditation. A 10-15 minute nap can reduce stress and improve vitality. You can ask the Angel of Rest for help with this and for specific healing during this time. When you open your eyes, you’re refreshed and ready to continue the day. Rest is an act of self-compassion and love for yourself.”
While I believe napping is hugely beneficial, and far from lazy, I have a hard time with the medical medium. I really do believe in napping though, especially as most of us lead busy lives full of overstimulation, and rest is the only way to balance that out.
I saw Nick interview Harry Stiles and knew him as Grimmy? It was quite charming the two of them together. I like his voice and manner, but his wit is the best. Wit and humor. Very intertaining. I'll look for more shows like this. The chef was great too and I loved it was about food and cooking. Done a bit differently. Well done. As an American I wasn't familiar with the funny actress but liked her too. Cheers!
For some reason I think if I was Julia Roberts I would search things like this out and comment on them. Like "Yes, my green bean casserole is famous, thank you very much." Just out doing my own press 😂 Do I like attention? Maybe a little. Guess my sign?
The Dish logo being perfectly on the plant pot when the camera cuts to Siobhán is so satisfying.
You sound like someone who shops at Waitrose…. In a good way 😂
Not sure who Waitrose is (a shop? could google :) but lining that up was done perfectly!
OMG ... That is very observant!
Hmmmmm...is it quite on centre?
Oh yeah!!

And while your at it - you should also try Extraordinary! Just as quirky but a bit more heartfelt!
Oh my babes!! You need to watch Derry Girls!! It's so funny
If Derry Girls isn’t on Austrian Netflix, you have to protest!!
Same here!! I’m from Canada and I accidentally came across their shorts. Now here I am, watching the full videos of people I don’t know, but loving it because of the charisma and cozy vibes😅🥰
I love when the crew laugh too at what happens. Really makes it feel like EVERYONE is having a fun time.

"Dump the f*cker!" Love the straight talking Irish humour!
I’m from a rural American town and I have limited knowledge of most of the guests on this podcast but it’s incredible and I watch every piece of content they put out
Why not have more episodes in full? This is a brilliant podcast, easily my favourite.
Angela's laughs in this one are so full and hysterical, it's everything 😅💗
So many things to love about this podcast and this episode in particular. It's so real - Angela cleaning her shirt with a napkin, Siobhan with the napkin as a bib and as always amazing and funny and interesting conversation.
Sister George Michael was my favorite character on the show Derry Girls. And there were so many great characters. Kudos to all of them; that series was outstanding.
Her role was relatively small but she stole every scene she was in, top talent
Already listened to the podcast but had to come watch the video version too because she was such a delighful guest. Thank you for offering both formats!

This isn't your turn to self promote
Alison Roman puts a bottle of red wine in a lidded Dutch oven with a lamb shoulder and potatoes and carrots. She cooks it for 10 hours. Ten.
Oven temperatures are different in the US… with the time change, jet lag, etc, etc….
