    I have to say that the Oukitel customer service team has been awesome. They responded very quickly and have been very anxious to help me resolve my issues. Their technical team helped me thoroughly test the unit to find the problem. It needed repair so they quickly sent me a full replacement and they paid the shipping charges for me to return the faulty unit. Their customer service is better than any other I have ever experienced.

    I have the FFpower P2001 version of this unit. My first one arrived with 0% charge on it. It would not accept a charge from AC. I went through the same issues with tech support. They sent me a new unit. I received it today. It charges ok but I have not been able to test UPS mode on it yet. I bought mine to power my fridge during power outages. I believe these units sat on the ocean for a long time. I will post results of UPS testing when I am able to try it out.
    Update: We have had a couple power outages since receiving the replacement unit. The UPS feature works perfect with no issues at all when grid power was restored, the unit switched back to AC charging. My fridge never missed a beat. Very happy.

      You know, you don't have to wait for a power outage. You can simulate one, like the video did, by simply unplugging the unit.

    Just got a P2001 yesterday (Oukitel's offering on Amazon) to use as a UPS. So far there have been no issues but I will keep an eye on it. The P2001 started as a kickstarter project and I am not surprised at all that there are teething problems with the initial production... I always try to avoid initial releases because nearly every power station manufacturer always seems to have problems with fresh releases. The Bluetti EB3A, for example, had a lot of problems. Their EB55 is extremely noisy, and GoLabs never fixed their AC 8-hour shutdown issue. Finding a decent power statieon has not been easy!
    Hopefully Oukitel has worked out the issues. I think mine have the updated firmware that fixes a known DC shutdown issue. I haven't tested that yet, just been using the AC for 24 hours in UPS mode at around 200W continuously and that has worked well. My unit arrived with around a 30% charge. I hope it works out because this P2001 checks all the boxes for me! UPS mode for efficient operation when the mains are up, quiet fan, generous input and output power ratings, no charger brick, etc.

    I paid for a new one, and the new one I had got was if it was resold as a new one. I notice that the fans are working sometimes on my unit at a slower rate, so I place an external fan on the intake that allows a faster charge. It is not overheating the top as much. The batteries are taking more of a charge. I try not to use it on hot days with temperatures over 95 degrees.

    Hi Todd,
    OUKITEL asked me to review this product, but I'm curious if they've resolved your issue. If consumers are having issues with the UPS function, I think I would need to warn them.
    Thanks,
    -AL

      The problem is definitely resolved! I have thoroughly checked the unit to see if it functions as a UPS...the replacement unit works perfectly. For example, the unit was at 40% charge and I plugged the unit in to my wall power outlet to begin charging it. It showed 1100 watts of input charging watts on the P2001 display screen. I then plugged in a hair dryer and turned it to low heat setting which showed as 391 watts of output power on the P2001 display screen...and at the same time that it showed 391 watts of output it showed 1193 watts of input power from the wall power. It was charging at the same time that it was powering the hair dryer at 391 watts. Next, while the hair dryer was still running I unplugged the charging power cord from the wall power outlet. Instantly the P2001 stopped charging and the input wattage dropped to zero...but the hair dryer continued to run uninterrupted...it did not even slow down. The P2001 worked perfectly as an uninterrupted power supply, UPS. With the hair dryer still running I then plugged the power cord back in to the P2001 and it then returned to display 1193 watts of input power watts...and the hair dryer was still running and the unit indicated that it was charging again. I am very impressed with this unit. I am very happy with the unit and the awesome customer service team that worked very hard to make sure that I was satisfied. Thank you Oukitel.

    Wow; You all are making me nervous, I just received one 2 days ago after doing research and finding out it was a good unit, until I found this site.
    I had that issue to where the power button will not shut off till you unplug the A/C cord plug into the outlet first, I think that's odd it should power off regardless if A/C is plug in or not ?

    Has s simular issue October 2022. Purchasing the unit in August from Amazon. I used the unit daily as a power source for my outdoor Astrophotography setup. I would charge it up with a couple of 100 watt solar panels during the day after using it the previous night. One day the DC charging function completly stopped working during a charging session. I tried to complete the charging using the AC cord and the unit would charge up for about 30 seconds and then turned off. I sent a video to Oukitel about the issue. Took about a month of going back and forth before they admitted the unit needed to be replaced and they sent me a RMA. Had to ship the defective unit to Pittsburg Pennsyvania. (I live in Southern California.) Two weeks after I shipped the bad unit out a new replacement unit was shipped to me from the distributer in Southern California. Peice of advice on anyone purchasing a power station. (KEEP THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING BOXES AND FOAM.)

    There is another major flaw in my opinion .....if you plug solar panel at night ,next day when the unit start charging the panel lights on and the unit also consumes enough energy as if an internal inverter is working ...So in a relatively cloudy day you loose more power than you gain .You have to manually press the power button in order to turn off an internal procedure that consumes too much power

    I’d think it is trying to limit the power taken from the wall to 10 amps. Or that sounds reasonable to me

    • @eddietee6305
      @eddietee6305 Год назад

      Maybe it has current-limiting that way but shouldn't the charging circuit from the wall does it automatically? It should limit how much current is drawn from the AC cable.
      Strange problem.

    • @eddietee6305
      @eddietee6305 Год назад

      I think you have a point there though but the AC input limiting circuit should regulate the current despite the status of the batteries.

    I bought a p2001 about 3-months ago. just played around & tested it & seemed to work fine. then had a power outage about 2-1/2 weeks ago & needed it badly but then it literally shut down & went into lock mode! would not do nothing, not even power on. so, I just received my second one as a replacement & literally walked in the house from the ups truck 3-min ago. it's plugged up & charging at this very moment. if I have any issues with this one, I am getting a refund! I'll move on to Buletti max. hope it all works out for you. I hope that you will post an update to what you decided to do, I'll be watching for its buddy.

    To use UPS mode, your output should be less than 800 watts, you draw more than 800 watts, that's why it shutdown,

    I have a problem with my P2001. The unit developed a problem with the Anderson negative connector. Oukitel is not helping me, even though the unit is under warranty. Like others, they told me they were going to send me shipping labels to send it back but they have not, Amazon wants nothing to do with it since its been more than 30 days since I bought it. At this time I cannot recommend anyone buy this product.

    I have the Grecell version of this. I was testing; AC plugged in, passthru to a 120v AC freezer and/or fridge. No more than 284w ever. The AC inverter shuts off anywhere from 6-46 hours. The only fix is a manual power down the reboot. I bought this to power the freezer, unattended, to be a backup to my electric service. I’m leaving for months and this won’t do. DO NOT BUY. I bought through amazon and it’s not a returnable item. I’ve messaged the seller a few times with friendly but unsuccessful results. I opened a case with Amazon for a refund due to faulty product.
