This was a great way to visually put things into perspective, that graphic you used was really telling and explained the full scope of the question well. As I always say, anything with a mouth can bite, but they rarely do. To add to that, almost nothing in North America will bite or even aggressively approach a human unprovoked. Changing our general perception of conventionally “dangerous” animals is the first step in creating a positive dialogue about their conservation, so videos like this are really important. Great work guys! - Harrison and Evan
We see bear at our remote cabin and I have never had one act aggressively towards us. Last summer I was sitting in the outhouse with the door open and a black bear walked right by and paid me no attention. Hopefully that trend continues, but I am prepared if things turn bad.
These videos are amazing please never stop posting
Thanks, that's the plan!
It’s an irrational fear, that’s pushed on us from childhood
Definitely! It’s also pretty reinforced through movies, TV, and (sadly) even many nature shows

Thanks guys, I hope we can all help shift attitudes toward wildlife away from unknown and scary to familiar and wonderful!
Excellent presentation of the real statistics. Thanks.
Thanks Phillip, I know statistics can be a bit dry but sometimes they speak volumes. Hopefully others can appreciate them as you do.
The stats really bring this home. Good stuff man
Thanks, I’m glad you found the depiction of stats helpful! Hard to find an engaging way to present lots of numbers lol
@@lifeunderfoot4805 great approach

Most wildlife want nothing to do with us, bear included (except for our food 😅)
