As per my normal behaviour I'm looking at reviews after I've bought the tool and waiting for it to be delivered. Doh! Anyway, after watching your review I'm still happy I've bought said item. Nice to see a proper critique with the positives and negatives rather than a festool fan boy review. I'll defo search for saver pads and that bosch hoover adapter. Any links for these things would be good. Thanks again 👍
To be fair, I bought this and the random orbital sander without checking up on any reviews at all. I went into an Axminster store and they both felt really comfortable in the hand for me (and my wife). So just that sold it to us. Hopefully you have been happy with your purchase.
I purchased this, tried it in a few projects, and returned it today. I don’t know what was wrong with it but it was leaving a horrible finish. Scratches everywhere.
Great video. My only question, at around 7:30min you sanded with the dust bag attached but there was a significant amount of dust, is the bag that poor or was it installed improperly?
Sorry for the really late response. I personally found with all of my sanders that have bags, they all leave a large amount of dust behind as they have no active suction to blow it in the bag efficiently. Using with a vacuum of any kind will give better results than the bag.
