Well the Xbox 360 and PS3 are consoles and even if there's no DE for those it's still the "standard" I guess. So you can still see that PC blows the 360 and PS3 away. I think the Definitive Edition for the next gen consoles were just there to show the change from previous gen graphics to next gen graphics.

The only reason PS4 and XBOX ONE look better than PC on this game is because the developers had completely re-done the textures and resolutions specifically for the Next Gen consoles to take advantage of the new hardware. However the PC was stuck with a tuned version of the then current gen consoles textures etc as why would they go through the trouble of giving the PC version a complete face lift when they had the next gen versions to worry about. +Timotarius It's not the first time, originally the "high definition" graphics pack for the original Half Life back in 2000 or whatever, it started out on Dreamcast - the leaked DC version has those graphics by default. Of course, back then things were a lot more muddy with all the different manufacturers of hardware compared to now

The new version has better color and texture, but appears stiff and emotionless sometimes... Like a pretty doll. Because of this, it is my impression that the facial gestures and the voice acting don't match very well from time to time.
Different face and some higher-res textures, but it's still an excellent game. If you haven't picked it up yet please do. It didn't sell well and it deserves a sequel.
Since they made it in order to reboot the series i think it's safe to assume that a sequel will come sooner or later. BTW does she wear a shirt with different color in the PS4 version or is it just wet?
While the definitive edition graphics are obviously better, I just really prefer the original one on PS3. They made Lara's face look strange in the definitive edition... like she lost a lot of the innocence and sweetness to her expression. She just looks cold and pissy in the definitive edition. Hell, it doesn't even look like her. I just don't like it.
I've only played the Definitive Version. The graphics are great on Lara, considering how it's been rebuilt from the ground up, matching a lot closer to the CGI/promo stills we see for this game. But something always felt off to me. Whenever she expresses sadness, sorrow or worry, her eyes don't show it while the PS3/360/PC version does. It always felt "off" to me on the PS4 version, her voice sometimes not matching her expression on the eyes. This is something that sadly got lost in translation during the remastering for this game and it's a common mistake I see too often. That said I still enjoyed the game of course.
Bruce Wayne Honestly it looked fine as I played it on the PS3. I mean yeah, of course it doesn't look nearly as amazing as it does in the definitive edition, but as you played the game you seriously forgot about her hair and in the end it still looks really good on her.

It's really funny after watching videos like this of PS4/XB1, and seeing how close the graphics are in comparison to each other. And then recalling last year all the Sony fanboys talking about how much more superior the PS4 will be to the XB1, but now that both systems are out, there's absolutely NO difference LOL. All it was, was Sony fanboys hating on Microsoft because they did not like Microsoft. The next-gen console war was based purely on biased opinions and not on real specifications. Glad I've always been a PC guy.
On most multi platform games PS4 will look better, it has the power to run games in 1080p and on 60fps. Xbox One is still running 19th century shit, if you look closely the capacity of grass and other little things does make the PS4 look better.
the original rendition was made with real life motion capture of an amazing actress and you can see they replicated her expressions down to the dot of every detail, and that rendition I feel made the audience feel fear when they saw fear in her. We became empathetic with her. Unfortunately I feel this is were the new render falls short because they cut off much detail and expression with having in mind of giving off better crisp resultion graphics and what not. Not only that but the color schemes clearly changed, the atmosphere is still the same, but I don't think that's what the creators had in mind at the beginning, to me it's clear they wanted everyone to feel every single second the characters felt by giving you human detail, realistic expression, the toned color scheme Needless to say I am glad I got the non-definitive edition for my console and I will forever keep it treasured
Its funny how people are bagging the Xbox one version but in reality, The PS4 and Xbox one version looks the same imo. And everyone needs to face that the PC version is not the best compared to the consoles get over it! 2:03, 2:47 Look at her skin. X360/PS3/PC version clearly depicts skin color more naturally in a snow storm, while PS4/XOne depicts her skin like Lara is at a beach on a sunny day. Also, in a snow storm eyes doesn't catch reflections of light, because there is no directional lightning. 3:39, Lara's face in X360 version has much better depiction in steamy environment than on a XOne. 4:34 Again, you don't expect a clear directional sunlight in a stormy cloud weather, but apparantly PS4/XOne has it.

+Brandon Normandin I 100% agree with you. I started watching while forgetting that the original was made on PS3. Even though the hair was heaps less defined, the game really did pack a punch with graphics.

But the definitive face grown on me over time coz the eyes and facial expression, and polygons are far more detail and alive than the older one, it just tells more story in terms of a character to me. When i look back to my PC, the 2013 face I feels slight plastic in comparison. Also it doesn't look like anyone would ever look like that, a bit cartoony ... Now I prefer the definitive version.
My opinion: 1 - PS4 (the contrast looks better than on Xbox One) 2 - XBOX ONE (missing 1 or 2 details comparing to PC and PS4, I personally didn't liked the color contrast) 3 - PC (may look more realistic - eyes and stuff - still above next gen if you consideer everything, not just her face) 4 - PS3, XBOX 360 (they look pretty same, but if you pay attention you can see more details on PC)

For me, this game had the perfect mix of exploration,combat, character/weapon progression, and story. I just played through it again recently, and all I kept thinking was....There's no way they can top this. I do think there's room for individual improvements, like more character development, and more variety in the locations. But as a whole, it just feels good. Its easy to play for hours and hours. The excellent pacing keeps you going.
What can I say. This comparison sucks a lot. 1) On what GPU is pc version maxed out? On GT630 or GT640? This game looks absolutely better on my PC. Even though that PC version is maxed out on low-end GPU it still looks better than consoles. 2) The PS4 and XboxOne versions look great, but they are not as detailed as the PC version. Want a prove? Look at the comparison on the radio tower Lara's face looks much more detailed on the PC version. 3) PS4 is better than the Xbox One. The may look similar but PS4 is running on 60fps 1080p while Xbox One is running on 900p 30fps. 4) If you want a real comparison, make it yourself. It has really big difference between playing and watching a video. 5) And one last word: There is no matter which platform you choose. The game looks great on all PS4, Xbox One, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, the story is outstanding and this game is a MUST play title, so play it on which platform you can, you won't regret it.

Not a fan of the facial make over they did for the definitive edition. Perhaps it looks prettier for some people; but I think the tired worn-out look of the first (original) edition suits the game's storyline better.

This isn't too fair of a test or should I say this isn't proving too much. A well rounded Gaming PC is more capable than any console to date. But because the majority of the market is on consoles, why would any sane developer make a game that the consoles can't handle? If a developer made a game for a console and then made the same game completely separate just for PC, the PC version would always 'look' (and play) better. To argue that is sheer ignorance. Also, this test isn't comparing which systems are more capable either. Only, how far the developers went to making the game look good on each system. Of course the PC could run the same version graphically as the Xbox One and PS4. EDIT: I would also say that adding 'better' (higher res) textures isn't going to strain any modern tech too much. So when comparing platforms graphically, I would ignore certain texture changes (unless there's a HUGE difference) and on that note I would also ignore the brightness. This is not to be mistaken with lighting and shading, but more vibrant colors and an overall brighter screen isn't anything more than just ... well brightness and colors. Not strenuous at all. I can adjust the brightness and color on my monitor/TV or even in game menus. That has next to no effect on wait a platform is and isn't capable of. EDIT: Also the PC version was released BEFORE the next gen consoles version. This should prove my point even further.

Lol, come around to my place and see the PC version and tell me again it doesn't look better than the console version. You do realise consoles run low end PC hardware, right? That's how they keep costs down. Some high-end graphics cards alone cost more than the entirety of an Xbox One or PS4. The Xbox One version in particular is horrendously over-saturated and Lara's face is a bit strange. For some reason the PC footage in this video is somewhat blurry and soft. I was playing the game but 10 minutes ago with all settings maxed, 16x AF, TressFX, ultra shadows, etc, and it looked sharp and gorgeous.
The only reason why this game might look slightly better sometimes on the ps4 and xbox one is because they re-rendered the textures and skins for the the next gen consoles however this game came out before next gen consoles did. The only thing that looks better on the next gen consoles is her skin. She looks like she's more flush in them more color to her skin. She looks paler on the PC version. Now compare Watch dogs PC version to console or BF4 even which came out at launch? You'll see that PC looks better. Don't be mad at PC gamers because you can't afford a $1500 plus rig yourself. If people really think this means ps4 beat pc, no it does not. All this means is that Tomb Raider definitive texture pack is better than the original ( well duh) If you see the original and compare it on pc/ 360/ps4 you will see the right comparison.

I will keep my pc version. The innocent face fits this game's atmosphere way better. Sure, the new one looks more like classic Lara, but in this game, she is not the badass femme fatale we love, YET. Leave a more confident look for the sequel. The only thing I like in the new version is the more saturated colors, but I can get that on the pc with an ENB mod, so no problem.

The problem with these videos is the subjectivity of color temperature and capturing, which are not related to power at all. You have to look at resolution, framerate and other technicalities to point the actual difference out (RUclips f e can only show 30 FPS). The PC version of Tomb Raider has a setting for hair quality. The options are "Normal" - the one you can see on 360, PS3, and "TressFX" - the one you can see on XB1, PS4 and PC. The difference is quite significant, and the problem with the PC version is that Nvidia GPUs struggle horribly with TressFX. It's an AMD technology and it's poorly optimized for Nvidia. I can run everything on max settings, but once i turn TressFX on, the game breaks down to sub 20 FPS. Unplayable.
Robert Moushi Yep, massive Nvidia performance can of course make up for the bad optimization, it's still a thing that really bothers me though. My hardware should be perfectly capable of running TressFX.
PC - no subsciption charges for online games like B4 and titanfall, better cooling and cheeper games, but the PS4 and Xbox one do look better, this is down to the extra effort put in by the game makers not the raw power of the machine.

I have an Xbox one and I love it. But there is no possible way it looks better on it. I think most people fail to realize the ps4 version runs at 60fps and Xbox one only 30fps... RUclips only shows 30fps so you won't see a difference in the video.

In some shots the PS4 looked best, in others the PC. I'm actually surprised at how much worse the XB1 looks compared to PS4, I thought the differences would be negligible but it's quite noticeable. The eyes and hair look a little better in the definitive edition compared to PC, but I still prefer her old face.
That's interesting, as I thought both next gen systems looked equally good for the most part. They kind of looked different, with the Xbox One being a bit brighter, but I couldn't really say one looked better. Maybe the PS4 by a small margin at times.
Honestly its hard to conclude anything from this. This is coming from a PC owner. The biggest differences are mostly lighting and contrast changes and can can only be REALLY noticed by the trained eye.

Trying to compare graphics on youtube is like asking a legally blind person to choose between a bunch of masterpiece paintings to tell you which looks best.
1. PC runs at higher framerates, well over 30fps, RUclips displays 30fps MAX. 2. The compression of the video, while not awful, is enough to blur out the finer differences in graphics. High framerates are impossible to notice and graphical fidelity is blurred. Seems pointless to me.
***** Frame rate is part of a frame rate comparison, not a comparison between the graphics of a game on different platforms. There, quite literally, is no detail too fine for this video. I can see the aliasing just fine. I can see the texture filtering just fine. I can see the shading and shadows just fine. If you can't, you might want to see an eye doc.

Framerate is graphics, how many frames of graphical content is produced that creates smoother looking movement is a graphical element, it is just also indicative of performance.
Actually you are wrong, the PC version has higher quality textures. The PC version also has higher anisotropic filtering, higher quality anti aliasing. The PC version is the ONLY version to use tessellation , horizon based ambient occlusion , bokeh depth of field, DX11 enhanced soft shadows, super sampling , 3DTV support and locked 60fps. The PS4 version has a new redesigned Lara. Hell did no one even bother to click on the two links I left at the top of this page?

PC gamers hate on consoles because console technology is so outdated compared to PC's. Thats a big problem for the ENTIRE gaming community, not just the PC gamers but the console gamers as well. The reason we hate on consoles is because we have to wait for you guys to catch up for our graphics and gameplay to be better because the console tech cant handle what a pc can so they make games for consoles first then PC is an afterthought. You can't compare them. Standard edition is used for PC here and Definitive Edition (upgraded graphics) is used for consoles. Try comparing PC with PS3 and X360. It's like comparing the PS3 and XBOX360 versions of GTA V with the PC version and saying PC is better. They're different. If PC gets a definitive edition then, it would look better than next gen consoles.

The difference is that PS3- A pale Lara Croft with a solid hair. XBOX 360 -Same goes for you. PC- Looks just like the old consoles but the hair have strands. PS4- A tan Lara that doesn't look looks like Lara Croft. XBOX ONE - A Robotic Lara that doesn't look like she's struggling, instead she looks like as if she doesn't have emotions.
That awkward moment when comparing a game released nearly a year ago on PC to a game recently released, updated and optimized for xbox one/ PS4. The PS4 version lacks tesselation and the next gen consoles use FXAA unlike the PC version which can use SSAA which the xbone and PS4 can't handle. All 3 look really similar, no major difference. Many better looking games out there plus the game itself is pretty shit.
It's all opinions and nothing to do on what format you play on. It doesn't mean I don't like it cuz my preference is pc, it's just because it ain't for me. Linear as fuck, boring dialogue and story. Today's mainstream games are aimed to please the majority so I will just stick to the vastly cheaper, better and much more challenging titles out there. It's just opinions.
PC didn't get the "Definitive" Edition because it is the true definitive edition. With 1440p and PhysX and all the other exclusive technologies, PC just plain looks better. It doesn't surprise me that the regular PC edition was equal and even better looking than the consoles' REMASTERED version even with the obviously low tier PC hardware they used in the video.
The xbox one has the best lighting other than that same as ps4,, pc would have been best if it was definitive edition but it's a port from ps3/x360 so it doesn't count ,

I don't like her new face on ps4 and xb1. The old one had more emotion show through especially in the eyes. Hair and skin look a lot better though. Shame they didn't update textures on PC version because it looks alright. Kinda makes me mad because I'll get this on PC since I just decided against next gen. I just wanted the kinect media experience but I need a fast home PC and something to play "next gen" games so two birds, one stone. Plus I think Microsoft is going to do more with the kinect for PC this time around so hopefully that means voice commands on Windows. If not I'll still have fun with the SDK.
PC still wins. In some screens PS4 looked better than XB1, then in others, Xb1 looked cleaner so both consoles are pretty much even, PC master race still wins.
I'm playing through it on PC on ultra (pc lara looks better), it is a very pretty game. Those swaying tree's on the DE are nice though, only thing I'm jelly of.
apparently PS4 has better system overall than XBOX1, as for the texture, it seems Playstation is quite saturated while xb1 is more focused and darker. Same goes for PS3 vs XBox360

Hate these comparisons. They don't even show the true image. All pc/ps4/and xbone look completely different when its the actual game on your own monitor. IGN are just doing this for the views now because everyone watches them to fanboy their console. The recording/rendering/uploading doesn't make this a fair test.

PS4 version looks plain and stale. Push frames all you want but this game doesn't really need the Framerate.... it's all about the effects and the Xbox One has the better effects in terms of the console version therefore the better version. PC obviously shits on both regardless, it's just a given.

Well the Xbox 360 and PS3 are consoles and even if there's no DE for those it's still the "standard" I guess. So you can still see that PC blows the 360 and PS3 away. The new version has better color and texture, but appears stiff and emotionless sometimes... Like a pretty doll. Because of this, it is my impression that the facial gestures and the voice acting don't match very well from time to time.

While the definitive edition graphics are obviously better, I just really prefer the original one on PS3. They made Lara's face look strange in the definitive edition... like she lost a lot of the innocence and sweetness to her expression. She just looks cold and pissy in the definitive edition. Hell, it doesn't even look like her. I just don't like it.
I've only played the Definitive Version. The graphics are great on Lara, considering how it's been rebuilt from the ground up, matching a lot closer to the CGI/promo stills we see for this game. But something always felt off to me. Whenever she expresses sadness, sorrow or worry, her eyes don't show it while the PS3/360/PC version does. It always felt "off" to me on the PS4 version, her voice sometimes not matching her expression on the eyes. This is something that sadly got lost in translation during the remastering for this game and it's a common mistake I see too often. That said I still enjoyed the game of course.

PS4 Edition looks absolutely fantastic, but it's pretty dumb considering that they are not using a defenitive edition on the PC. Which ofcours would look even better.
It's really funny after watching videos like this of PS4/XB1, and seeing how close the graphics are in comparison to each other. And then recalling last year all the Sony fanboys talking about how much more superior the PS4 will be to the XB1, but now that both systems are out, there's absolutely NO difference LOL. All it was, was Sony fanboys hating on Microsoft because they did not like Microsoft. The next-gen console war was based purely on biased opinions and not on real specifications. Glad I've always been a PC guy.
On most multi platform games PS4 will look better, it has the power to run games in 1080p and on 60fps. Xbox One is still running 19th century shit, if you look closely the capacity of grass and other little things does make the PS4 look better.

the original rendition was made with real life motion capture of an amazing actress and you can see they replicated her expressions down to the dot of every detail, and that rendition I feel made the audience feel fear when they saw fear in her. We became empathetic with her. Unfortunately I feel this is were the new render falls short because they cut off much detail and expression with having in mind of giving off better crisp resultion graphics and what not. Not only that but the color schemes clearly changed, the atmosphere is still the same, but I don't think that's what the creators had in mind at the beginning, to me it's clear they wanted everyone to feel every single second the characters felt by giving you human detail, realistic expression, the toned color scheme
Needless to say I am glad I got the non-definitive edition for my console and I will forever keep it treasured

I thought the same at first when the definitive edition first came out.
But the definitive face grown on me over time coz the eyes and facial expression, and polygons are far more detail and alive than the older one, it just tells more story in terms of a character to me. When i look back to my PC, the 2013 face I feels slight plastic in comparison. Also it doesn't look like anyone would ever look like that, a bit cartoony ...

For me, this game had the perfect mix of exploration,combat, character/weapon progression, and story. I just played through it again recently, and all I kept thinking was....There's no way they can top this.
I do think there's room for individual improvements, like more character development, and more variety in the locations. But as a whole, it just feels good. Its easy to play for hours and hours. The excellent pacing keeps you going.
What can I say. This comparison sucks a lot.
1) On what GPU is pc version maxed out? On GT630 or GT640? This game looks absolutely better on my PC. Even though that PC version is maxed out on low-end GPU it still looks better than consoles.
2) The PS4 and XboxOne versions look great, but they are not as detailed as the PC version. Want a prove? Look at the comparison on the radio tower Lara's face looks much more detailed on the PC version.
3) PS4 is better than the Xbox One. The may look similar but PS4 is running on 60fps 1080p while Xbox One is running on 900p 30fps.
4) If you want a real comparison, make it yourself. It has really big difference between playing and watching a video.
5) And one last word: There is no matter which platform you choose. The game looks great on all PS4, Xbox One, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, the story is outstanding and this game is a MUST play title, so play it on which platform you can, you won't regret it.

This isn't too fair of a test or should I say this isn't proving too much. A well rounded Gaming PC is more capable than any console to date. But because the majority of the market is on consoles, why would any sane developer make a game that the consoles can't handle? If a developer made a game for a console and then made the same game completely separate just for PC, the PC version would always 'look' (and play) better. To argue that is sheer ignorance.
Also, this test isn't comparing which systems are more capable either. Only, how far the developers went to making the game look good on each system. Of course the PC could run the same version graphically as the Xbox One and PS4.
EDIT: I would also say that adding 'better' (higher res) textures isn't going to strain any modern tech too much. So when comparing platforms graphically, I would ignore certain texture changes (unless there's a HUGE difference) and on that note I would also ignore the brightness. This is not to be mistaken with lighting and shading, but more vibrant colors and an overall brighter screen isn't anything more than just ... well brightness and colors. Not strenuous at all. I can adjust the brightness and color on my monitor/TV or even in game menus. That has next to no effect on wait a platform is and isn't capable of.
EDIT: Also the PC version was released BEFORE the next gen consoles version. This should prove my point even further.

The Xbox One version in particular is horrendously over-saturated and Lara's face is a bit strange. For some reason the PC footage in this video is somewhat blurry and soft. I was playing the game but 10 minutes ago with all settings maxed, 16x AF, TressFX, ultra shadows, etc, and it looked sharp and gorgeous.
The only reason why this game might look slightly better sometimes on the ps4 and xbox one is because they re-rendered the textures and skins for the the next gen consoles however this game came out before next gen consoles did. The only thing that looks better on the next gen consoles is her skin. She looks like she's more flush in them more color to her skin. She looks paler on the PC version. Now compare Watch dogs PC version to console or BF4 even which came out at launch? You'll see that PC looks better. Don't be mad at PC gamers because you can't afford a $1500 plus rig yourself. If people really think this means ps4 beat pc, no it does not. All this means is that Tomb Raider definitive texture pack is better than the original ( well duh) If you see the original and compare it on pc/ 360/ps4 you will see the right comparison.

I will keep my pc version. The innocent face fits this game's atmosphere way better. Sure, the new one looks more like classic Lara, but in this game, she is not the badass femme fatale we love, YET. Leave a more confident look for the sequel. The only thing I like in the new version is the more saturated colors, but I can get that on the pc with an ENB mod, so no problem.

The problem with these videos is the subjectivity of color temperature and capturing, which are not related to power at all.
You have to look at resolution, framerate and other technicalities to point the actual difference out (RUclips f e can only show 30 FPS).
The PC version of Tomb Raider has a setting for hair quality. The options are "Normal" - the one you can see on 360, PS3, and "TressFX" - the one you can see on XB1, PS4 and PC. The difference is quite significant, and the problem with the PC version is that Nvidia GPUs struggle horribly with TressFX. It's an AMD technology and it's poorly optimized for Nvidia. I can run everything on max settings, but once i turn TressFX on, the game breaks down to sub 20 FPS. Unplayable.

PC - no subsciption charges for online games like B4 and titanfall, better cooling and cheeper games, but the PS4 and Xbox one do look better, this is down to the extra effort put in by the game makers not the raw power of the machine.

I have an Xbox one and I love it. But there is no possible way it looks better on it. I think most people fail to realize the ps4 version runs at 60fps and Xbox one only 30fps... RUclips only shows 30fps so you won't see a difference in the video.

In some shots the PS4 looked best, in others the PC. I'm actually surprised at how much worse the XB1 looks compared to PS4, I thought the differences would be negligible but it's quite noticeable.
The eyes and hair look a little better in the definitive edition compared to PC, but I still prefer her old face.
That's interesting, as I thought both next gen systems looked equally good for the most part. They kind of looked different, with the Xbox One being a bit brighter, but I couldn't really say one looked better. Maybe the PS4 by a small margin at times.
Honestly its hard to conclude anything from this. This is coming from a PC owner. The biggest differences are mostly lighting and contrast changes and can can only be REALLY noticed by the trained eye.

1. PC runs at higher framerates, well over 30fps, RUclips displays 30fps MAX.
2. The compression of the video, while not awful, is enough to blur out the finer differences in graphics.
High framerates are impossible to notice and graphical fidelity is blurred. Seems pointless to me.

Framerate is graphics, how many frames of graphical content is produced that creates smoother looking movement is a graphical element, it is just also indicative of performance.

Actually you are wrong, the PC version has higher quality textures. The PC version also has higher anisotropic filtering, higher quality anti aliasing.
The PC version is the ONLY version to use tessellation , horizon based ambient occlusion , bokeh depth of field, DX11 enhanced soft shadows, super sampling , 3DTV support and locked 60fps.
The PS4 version has a new redesigned Lara.

You can't compare them. Standard edition is used for PC here and Definitive Edition (upgraded graphics) is used for consoles. Try comparing PC with PS3 and X360.

That awkward moment when comparing a game released nearly a year ago on PC to a game recently released, updated and optimized for xbox one/ PS4. The PS4 version lacks tesselation and the next gen consoles use FXAA unlike the PC version which can use SSAA which the xbone and PS4 can't handle. All 3 look really similar, no major difference. Many better looking games out there plus the game itself is pretty shit.

PC didn't get the "Definitive" Edition because it is the true definitive edition. With 1440p and PhysX and all the other exclusive technologies, PC just plain looks better. It doesn't surprise me that the regular PC edition was equal and even better looking than the consoles' REMASTERED version even with the obviously low tier PC hardware they used in the video.

I don't like her new face on ps4 and xb1. The old one had more emotion show through especially in the eyes. Hair and skin look a lot better though. Shame they didn't update textures on PC version because it looks alright. Kinda makes me mad because I'll get this on PC since I just decided against next gen. I just wanted the kinect media experience but I need a fast home PC and something to play "next gen" games so two birds, one stone. Plus I think Microsoft is going to do more with the kinect for PC this time around so hopefully that means voice commands on Windows. If not I'll still have fun with the SDK.

I'm playing through it on PC on ultra (pc lara looks better), it is a very pretty game. Those swaying tree's on the DE are nice though, only thing I'm jelly of.
