I met Ray Lewis years ago, and I have to admit that he was one intimidating beast. Until you start talking to him, and he was a very gregarious, friendly , gracious man. A stark contrast to who he was on the field. A fascinating guy.
This is a really old video so I’m not sure if you’ll see this comment but there is an incredible interview Ray did on The School of Greatness. It’s worth watching on your own time if you’d like to see a different side of him. He’s not just an amazing athlete but also an incredible human being. Thanks, great reaction.
On the segment where you mentioned the views of some of his teammates towards his seemingly non-stop energy, a little context would help. The players to his left and right were all-time greats and Hall of Famer Dion PrimeTime Sanders, and Chris McAlister. They've heard it all, done it all and seen it all. They knew Ray and the respect was mutual all-around. Football is often a monologue sport. Players will talk to other players or to no one in particular, all the time. Watch more Mic'd up episodes and you'll see. haha
As a teammate, you actually love it! There are certain ppl than seem to win or dominate at virtually anything! It drives you nuts but they are also better at thismm running their mouths and even when it effects you it's funny! When you get your angle it's amazing, it's perfect, you just have to know how to use it! You always have it! Many guys know exactly what I a m saying!
I would have loved him being my partner in my job. He would have made all the difference in how a bad day could always find a good ending. I was a paramedic and saw a lot of things I will never get out of my head…….he would have made a big difference!
Ray's one of my faves and one, if not THE, greatest Middle Linebackers.

I'll always say that Ray is the best QB of all time. I think he is the best leader in sports history
This is what we do in America 🇺🇸

He’s one of those people who doesn’t never have anything to say.
Awesome Christian man
In Football the Quarterback of the defense is the Middle Linebacker position and that is Ray Lewis' position which is why he talks too much.
