What typing & ability would you give a Mega Dragalge or Mega Clawitzer?
Dragalge should stay Poison/dragon but get an ability that gives it stab in water moves.
Clowitzer could be water/steel or water/fire sense it’s based off a cannon. And probably give clowitzer a fire moves like fire blast for stab.
Help me
Are you considering that this game might take place in the future? I feel like the teaser had hints to the game taking place in the future ngl
Honestly I'm just hoping Mega Clawitzer happens to see how much bigger the Claw can get compared to it's head. Maybe make Mega Clawitzer Water/Psychic with Leviate so it's Psychic powers can directly oppose Mega Dragalge?
Mega Dragalge would be the Zacian Killer
Dragalge should get the archaludon treatment, give it an evolution and a 600 BST.
Then it would REALLY become a pseudo-legendary
The only thing Archaludon is missing is a first stage, but Dragalgae got Skrelp
Dragalge evo like that would probably be better than a mega longer lasting anyways. Mega clawitzer designs look so cool and could be a twist on its load outs usually it’s a specs user due to its ability but what if the mega makes it a physical user with tough claws or sharpness, looking up designs one of the first I saw was the claw has 3 prongs on it and the body was longer it looked super cool
That would make me so fucking happy. Dragalge is my favorite poison type pokemon
Eviolite dragage gonna go hard in UU
You need to know just mons that feel empty something missing... duraludon?? A single stage dragon why does it look so small(evo missing) dragalge, noivern and things like drudigon are big and feel complete if they would get smth that would be a mega
I just thought of the cutest interaction, seeing slurpuff cover its nose when there’s an aromatise around
Dhelmise gets well with Dragalge because when they are destroying ship, new Dhelmise are born 😂😂😂
Dhelmise is the seaweed though, not the anchor, so they're similar life forms which makes sense for them to get along well
That's very accurate point
I seriously doubt they’ll do this but what if Mega Malamar got an ability that made the battle an Inverse Battle? (Inverse battles were introduced in Gen 6 and invert weaknesses and resistances)
Malamar has 0 resistances so it’d help make it better. Perhaps making all type matchups Inverse wouldn’t be implemented, but maybe if it only affected Malamar defensively it could be possible (so instead of being 4x Weak to Bug, 2x Weak to Fairy, and Immune to Psychic, the opposite would be true).
I think Malamar has a LOT of potential to turn into a Dark/Dragon based around Cthulhu, and that typing with an ability like that would be REALLY SCARY (I would love it, since it'smy all time favorite)
I was thinking the same thing with the ability making it an inverse battle. It sounds like a cool idea.
I was looking for a comment referencing inverse battles.
Heliolisk is in the DRAGON egg group and has a good amount of DRAGON moves. All I'm saying is I see potential and it could be amazing
I've checked your page 5 times today wondering where today's video was 😂 addicted
Real
Aromatisse, I can agree with for Fairy/Poison. Slurpuff, on the other hand, provides be better as Fairy/Psychic. I'm saying this since Poison is super effective on Fairy, but neutral on Psychic, but Psychic is super effective on Poison.
That Malamar Pokedex entry is JUICYYYYY!!!!
pkmn Insurgence actually has a move that works exactly how you described it. It's called 'Corrode', it's a 70BP poison move, 100% accuracy, and is super-effective on steel types
I absolutely think Malamar is gonna have a mega in Z because it had a role in the XY and XYZ anime. I feel that the XYZ anime is where we will find many of the Pokemon Z hints. In fact there was an entire episode in the XY anime (I started watching the whole series for hints) where Clement tried to “redevelop”Lumiose by allowing electric types to coexist with humans and he wants to expand the city to coexist with ALL Pokemon (sound familiar???).
What if malamar got an evo or mega that essentially reversed EVERYTHING, who moves first, what does damage, what stats to calc damage with, what statuses might do, if it punishes a state of neutrality or just makes a huge tipping point for any differences
How would it work though? Like a terrain/ room?
It can still have Contrary and get a new move that does that ig
I am just saying, if Haxorus DOESN'T get a mega, Iris will cry. And no one wants to see Iris cry...journeys proved that.
Haxorous mega would be sick
While I'm not a fan of Iris(specifically Iris in the anime), I agree with the idea of giving Haxorus a Mega.
@@Tony_AM009 I didn't like Iris at first in the anime, but overtime, I grew to put her as 3rd favorite travelling partner ash had. Only above are Serena and Brock.
Though this was during journeys.
@@WildWeavile Honestly same that's factss my dude. That's gotta be how it was for most people lol. The people who wrote the show knew exactly what they were doing!
Tbh I'd say she is my 2nd favorite, just below Haruka (May).
Not that I don't like Serena, and also Brock I'd put maybe 5th? Right below Dawn (3rd) and Serena (4th). He's classic, one of the goats and really iconic, especially the dub/american english subtitles calling rice balls jelly-filled donuts. Using his trusty frying pan as a shield from the rain... He was I'd say the most intelligent companion Ash has ever had and he's a serious prodigy, good at so many things. Cooking, battling, pokemon breeding and creating pokeblocks, etc. I think a lot of people forget his backstory of having to help take care of his many younger siblings when his deadbeat dad ran off. Definitely a large contributor to him getting so good in the culinary arts. Where he was on the level to hang with Cilan, one of the 3 leaders of a gym that's all about food. Serious tried-and-true conossieurs. Especially in a place like New York, rather some smalltown prefecture like Kanto, where you never see it as the focus or culture anywhere. So if that's not impressive on Brock's part, I don't know what is.
I think the one thing they missed on was making him such a weirdo and perv, but I guess they gotta do something to balance him out so that he isn't perfect and has some flaws, right? It's just one of my least favorite gag character traits/comic relief character moments, where it just always falls on him, and it became a crutch and consistently existed in every new season where he was one of the main characters... If not for that, he would be #1 or maybe #2 at least. I still adopted a lot of things into my lifestyle naturally as I grew up because of the influence his character had on me. That's how endearing it was tbh..
My tangent aside, I think it'd be really cool for Haxorus to get a regional form in another game, or some kind of battle-bond in the BW remakes.. If they don't just lock Megas again to gen 9.5 and Dragonite gets a mega in Legends AZ, I think Mega Dragonite being her new Signature Pokemon in new BW would be so perfect. Even if Haxorus also got a mega, I'd prefer to see the Dragonite.
The Kalos starters need mega evolution
Or battle bond forms.
No
Yes. Why not?? @@AprilJ-w3y
He already covered that. Check the first video in this series
Dragalge needs something id love to see a mega like youve described. I always have been intrigued by its type and design
Mega Malamar as a massive kraken would go absolutely crazy
Epic! That Dragalge mega idea is great! Hope it gets one and if it does it’ll be able to mess up lots of good mons!
something I've come up with thats pretty cool but i've never seen is two lines that evolve into the same pokemon (opposite split evo). They could do that with aromatisse and slurpuff, and they could "combine" (not really just both lines evolve into the same pokemon) into a "master of smells", which has all smells and smells all smells
What if Slurpuff's evolution was to become the first Fairy/Fire-type? That way, you can have it keep the chef/cooking theme its Dex entries seem to allude to.
Yeah and whipped cream has no ice so this is a ttar L lol
Maybe Fairy/Fighting with giant fist to pound dough which has to do with pastries with a new ability
Really need a 3rd Heliotisk evolution it's just asking for one
also Ttar lolol i think you meant plague doctor, not witch doctor :))
How about giving the Kalos fossil Pokémon megas? We need more mega fossils
If Dragalge gets a mega then the next 100 points should go like this.
50 to attack for a new total of 125.
Defence gets 30 for a new total of 120.
Special attack gets 20 for a new total of 117 special attack.
Making its new spread looking like
HP: 65
Att:125
Def: 120
Sp.A:117
Sp.D:123
Spd:44
Making it a good mixed attacker and a good trick room mon.
Mega Dragalge with the Super Effective Poison move/ability on Steel types is EXACTLY the buff Poison types need and the balance Steel types need. BEST idea to come out of this. Make Mega Dragalge or its evolution have stats like Hydrapple at 540 and give it "Corrosive Acid" as an ability or signature move!!
Bro I'd love a Mega Malamar so much. Or even a third stage. Or both? Ever since discovering it's evolution condition I've been a fan of that Pokemon. What if we flip it back over again and it becomes Psychic Fairy 😂
For a hypothetical Mega Dragalge, I would have it remain a Poison/Dragon type and give it either Swift Swim or Corrosion.
For a hypothetical Mega Clawitzer, I would either keep it as a pure Water type or change it into a Water/Steel type. I would either have it retain the Mega Launcher ability or create for it an ability that boosts the power of beam & cannon moves in addition to the aura & pulse moves. For that ability that I came up with, it's an ability that I would've also given to other Pokémon like Mega Blastoise, Magmortar, and Armarouge.
Armarouge should have that ability as a second regular ability, while Ceruledge should have Sharpness as a second regular ability. I don't know what Charcadet could have as a second regular ability since it currently has Flash Fire as its only regular ability and I believe Flame Body as its hidden ability. When I say a second regular ability, I'm talking about how some Pokémon like Cloyster and Nidoking can have one of two regular abilities. Cloyster has Shell Armor and Skill Link as its regular abilities, while Nidoking has Poison Point and Rivalry as its regular abilities.
getting me excited for megas again bro there’s so much potential in pokemon z-a
That moment when your favourite gets hit by the "Obviously, people don't really care about these pokemon"... Meringue Doggo doesn't deserve this. 3rd stage idea is neat though
Slurpuff W, it has a fan, hooray
Or for malamar it gets an ability where all its moves are priority
When you said nobody likes Slurpuff, I got sad because it's quite literally in in my top 5 favorite Pokemon of all time. ;~;
Not only is Slurpuff cute as heck, it gets access to a lot of type coverage like Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Surf, Energy Ball, Psychic, Drain Punch, with other utility moves like Heal Bell, Belly Drum, Sticky Web, Yawn, and both def/sp. def screens. A super versatile Pokemon, if you ask me. Basically like a Normal type but not weak to Fighting and actually gets more useful STAB.
As for if it'll get a mega evolution? I think it's likely, more so than a proper past evolution or even a regional form in a different place (like Unova or something) for the following reasons. For one, Slurpuff is apart of the logo for the Malasada shops in Alola, coincidentally the only region without an obvious manmade dessert-themed Pokemon. Going by the logic of not taking away from the original design too much for Pokemon like Charizard and Mewtwo, I would imagine the same to apply to Slurpuff as a result. It's also the first Fairy type food Pokemon (Vanilluxe line is Ice so they don't count), and the only one not available in SV nor the DLC (Dachsbun line and Alcremie line), so its appearance in Legends Z-A as is would be more notable.
Speaking of, Alcremie got a Gigantamax form in Galar, which simply turned it into a towering layered cake. Slurpuff is based on a meringue + a dog, with cupcake-like qualities, and probably closer to the Bichon Frisé breed of a dog because of its stubby legs (or lack there-of on Slurpuff). This makes me believe a mega Slurpuff will take inspiration on one of the following popular desserts that use meringue: a "floating island", aka île flottante, lemon meringue pie, or a Baked Alaska. I'm gonna exclude lemon meringue pie for the sake of it not being quite creative enough. But for the other two? The floating island can take its Pokedex entry from Shield literally, and quite possibly make it a Fairy/Flying, or a Fairy/Water type depending on how you interpret "floating island" lol. It'd be like a little inflated/puffy meringue Bichon Frisé, either floating up high in the air, or super buoyant for travel in water. As it also can learn Surf, this would actually be plausible, though any Flying type moves would need to be added into its movepool.
As for the Baked Alaska, while it mainly consists of ice cream and sponge cake/Christmas pudding, it's still topped with meringue, put in the freezer to solidify everything and keep anything from getting too warm, then briskly put in the oven to caramelize the meringue but not melt the ice cream. There's many variations of a Baked Alaska but they all involve the ice cream keeping cold and the meringue getting caramelized. So, I could see a Fairy/Fire or a Fairy/Ice type, depending on how you take the keeping cold or getting hot parts of the dessert. Fairy/Ice could get an ability where it turns Fire-type damage into a source of power for itself (sorta like Dachsbun's ability), or Fairy/Fire could get an ability where it treats Slurpuff like an honorary Ice type and it gets STAB on Ice moves (kinda like Dhelmise's ability), or better yet, gets the 50% Def boost from Snow weather conditions. It doesn't learn any Ice type moves as of right now, but they could easily be added to its movepool. Flamethrower is readily available through TM and has a bit more merit I think. I can imagine a bundled up but toasted looking Slurpuff in this form either way.
I personally like the idea of the Fairy/Fire type best, as I think making it an honorary Ice type without being an Ice type would be totally awesome, though the Fairy/Water type would also be a fun idea. I may have to come up with fanart of these concepts, hmm...
That aside, here's the Pokedex entries in SwSh for context:
Sword By taking in a person's scent, it can sniff out their mental and physical condition. It's hoped that this skill will have many medical applications.
Shield Slurpuff's fur contains a lot of air, making it soft to the touch and lighter than it looks.
It's interesting because these two entries give us a deeper insight on what Slurpuff's sense of smell could be used for outside of cooking, as well as to its appearance being slightly deceiving. Shoot, it's only 11 lbs., despite being 2 ft. 7 in. tall. It's such a small difference in weight despite being almost twice the height, as compared to Swirlix's 7.7 lbs and 1 ft. 4 in. measurements!
And yes, I did just write an essay on Slurpuff. Shows how it's in my top 5 favorite Pokemon of all time. ;P
Question: how can a pastry spin webbing?
@@GatcherGuy Interesting thing about that, it only mentions Swirlix spinning thread in the Pokedex. That's because it's based on cotton candy, aka fairy floss, which is made by sugar being heated to a certain temp (plus some other steps I forgot probably), causing it to form strands of sugar. Those strands of sugar are spun around, and with enough of them made, latch onto a paper cone and to themselves to form a fluffy but sticky cloud-esque treat. Swirlix would be spitting out the web from its mouth sorta like a weird sugary spider. I think I saw Swirlix spit out some sticky thread in the Kalos anime at some point, anyway. I imagine it gets "made" by the saliva hardening just enough to form sugary thread. Makes sense to me. 😋
Now, I have no idea if Slurpuff still has those capabilities or they got removed upon evolution. I guess the anime would be the only source for that, and I know I haven't seen enough of the Kalos anime to see a Slurpuff (or at least see one fight and not just stand there). It probably would because it's still a sugary delight despite not being directly cotton candy-based but Idk for sure.
WE EATINNN WHEN YOU POST BRO 💯💯💯💯💯
Malamar doesn’t suck imo it has a lot of potential I think with a mega evolution and stat boost would help it be more usable with higher BST. Particularly if Topsy Turvy became an ability
Belly drum Slurpuff built different dont sleep cause a sweep is imminent 😂
the new megas could possibly be ancient megas and there stones could have been lost to time
I feel that aromatisse and slurpuff should just evolve.
Aromatisse evolves Fairy/poison
Slurpuff Fairy/fire
4:07 reminds me of those 2 Malamar episodes in XY and XYZ i think, basically during the Kalos region in the anime, it was really creepy bro
but... mega mega launcher!
Love the ideas again!
Malamar could get an ability/move that ignores priority/speed.
Along with my Serpeirer, Clawitzer and Dragalge are definite team members for my Z-A playthrough. (Especially Malamar. 😁)
LOL "Malamar, CONTRARY to whether we believe it or not..."
11:21 Just something I've recently realized with designing a Mega's BST, it's much easier to do with a Pokémon that has a good base HP stat. Dragalgae isnt a fast pokemon in design, but because it only has 65 base hp, any bulk you give it needs to be a lot of bulk to compensate for that, meaning less stats go towards its offenses.
the ttar grind keeps me going ibr 😭
This dragalge you speak of would be absolutely cracked in vgc it definitely would have a place
Malamar getting a move that can switch the offensive/defensive stats of a Pokémon and create completely new viable sets
Mega corrosion would be a dope ability not just for megas but hopefully for a legendary mon
My boy Clawitzer got rejected, but Ttar makes Mega Dragalge sound very interesting and exciting. We need mega Dragalge in Legends
You should make a bingo board of Pokemon you think are getting megas.
The goat pokemon youtuber
Yeah, Aromatisse got an evo exactly like that in Uranium.
A poison move that is super effective on steel types would be sick. Freeze Dry is such a good move
You mean the TM Corrode from the fangame Pokemon Insurgence?
I don't really care about Pokémon anymore. I'm just here to watch TTar and his theories.
Aggron loses its Rock type when it megas.
Barbaracle is one of my faves. I love that guy ❤
Plz keep doing these! ❤
Im expecting a ton of Kalos pokemon to get actual evolutions and say the ultimate weapon wiped a lot of those species out. I think other gens are more likely to get megas
The patterns in the A makes me think of Bronzor look similar to the ones in his back and even yesterday i was catching him in S and it look so similar dex say "people in the past think the patterns on his back contain a mysterious power MAYBE he's getting a Mevo or impt strory.
Dragalgae and Clawtizer aren't bad, they are just incredibly mediocre
I see what you did there. 3:12
All I want is mega absol being dark/fairy cuz look at it! It looks pretty angelic to me
I will not tolerate Malamar slander here! I got mine to level 100 first play through and that thing carried my team
Is steelix rock/steel or ground/steel? (Asking since I thought it was rock/steel and you didn't mention mega steelix when you counted mega rock types)
It's ground/steel.
Im actually happy with just possibly having my mega gardevoir back, but i wouldnt mind a mega flygon(fave dragon type).
I personally wonder if Z-moves may make a comeback as well as being able to combine Mega Evoltion and Z-Moves was sort of the most OP thing about Sun and Moon games. But also I know this is based in Lumiose City so therefore Kalos region, but if this Legends game is meant to explain reveal more about the lore, then I do believe they may tie Zygarde being in Alola as well or the fact that in the anime that they confirmed that two 50% form Zygarde exists to combine and create the 100% form. Z-crystals seem like they are linked to Zygarde and the reason why it was in Alola to begin with.
Im loving these posts, but I just dont know if it will be all Kalos pokemon that get evolutions or mega evolutions. As we saw with this and with Legends Arceus that the Pokemon that get evolutions or megaevolutions are typically NOT from region the game takes place in. With Legends Arceus it was only Scyther line and Sneasel line that were in the original Sinnoh games that got a regional variant or a regional evolution. I do think it makes sense if Kalos pokemon get Mega evolution but its also going to have to explained or why/how these mega stones came into existence if they werent in the original game.
The other side is the idea that this is taking place in a modern timeline that effects the future and some keep bringing up the A could be something along the lines of 'Artificial' and that perhaps new mega stones were made artificially. It would be interesting to see if artificial stones drastically effect of mega evolution to a point that it creates a different evolution from what is expected.
i personally think that barraskewda will receive a mega evolution, since a Pokemon that looked like arrokuda appeared in the trailer
does anyone know what happened to his sword extreme randomiser?
3:13 haha he said contrary to a pokemon that gets contrary 😂
Clawitzer should evolve normally. It needs another evolution cuz I just love this pokemon and it needs some love to make it better imo. Eviolite will work Wonders on him in competitive battles after also
If they bring back mega Rayquaza which seems likely given a mega themed game I will absolutely destroy with my alpha sapphire Rayquaza
Mega malamar with the ability prankster would be cool
With this being another legends game I hope trevant/gorgheist are in it, always wanted to use one or the other but trade evolutions the outdated evolution method that slows down dex completion.
In legends game it’s just an item to evolve which makes them usable, hopefully the link cable/trade item can be added to main series games and to balance it out make it on the expensive side I know you can goto a discord and ask but getting people that understand you wanna trade back or will just leave after the trade is done happens to often
If we get evolutions this will be in the future
I want a Mega Goodra who’s Dragon-Fairy. I really want that typing and I always believed the Fairy Generation’s introduction Psuedo should’ve been Fairy and Dragon to suit the type scheme
Mega Malamar ability could to a trick room and its always the “slowest” meaning till will always gos first
You should talk about Heliolisk getting a 3rd evolution. I always thought that fool looked like a mid evolution...plus it was introduced in XY
Kalos Pokemon who need a mega are Noivern, Talonflame, Hawlucha, Dragalgae, Clawitzer, Florges, Aegislash and Malamar
I think a Mega Dragalge would work well with merciless as an ability
As a fan of Fairy/Steel types like Mawile and Tinkaton, I would FEAR a move that's super effective on steel.
What’s going on we are here with another BANGER
If Dragalge gets a mega I hope Clawitzer gets one to. They are meant as counterparts to One another
We need mega clawitzer with the mega-mega launcher ability
To be honest between Aromatisse and Slurpuff, the latter is atleast more viable because huge power
imagine a mega malamar with an ability that applied contrary to all pokemon on the field 😭😭
I'd say maybe with the Mega Evolution thing it's more likely for Aromatisse to get one than Slurpuff, since in my opinion, Aromatisse is not that great of a Fairy type. Slurpuff is at least decent enough, that I don't feel it needs a Mega.
If the lengdary birds got a mega they never got the love at they need
For malimar, i think I'd rather see a split evo that's a hero rather than pure evil.
What if malimars mega evolution put all stats into attack and defence, removed all its speed and had an ability that cast trick room upon mega evolving 🤔
Ohh I forgotten malamar is a upside-down squid
I think the kalos fossils could have dope Megas
For aromatise imagine they use Pokémon uranium’s third stage of it
My only thought is that in legends arceus we lost items and abilities so it may not work
Super Corrosion would at least mean nothing resists it's poison moves
What i WANT from gamefreak: all 48 mega evolutions and even more on the way
What i EXPECT gamefreak to do: 8 megas. 10 or 12 tops. Don't get your hopes up people.
Did bro not know Sprixee and Aromatise and Swirlix and Slurpuff are version exclusives? Ofc they’re opposite of eachother and together…
I hope they make on!ine battles a thing because from what i remember legends Arceus didnt and i love fighting people in pokemon
Personally i love Clawitzer and do hope it gets a mega
TTar I have to disagree with you on slurpuff and aromatisse, both are already trade evos, so its not realistic for them to get evolutions. It genuinely feels way more realistic for them to get megas, as they genuinely feel like the sableye and mawile of their gen. If anything I fully expect avalugg to get nothing
I’m still praying that Luxray gets a mega evolution
They should give something that isn't fully evolved a mega
i always thought malamar was pretty decent in battle also clawizer should get something
i need the fossil pokemon getting megas tyrantrum hasnt been in the anime alot it would amazing especially with Arourus
Fun fact: Malamar is, to date, the *only* pokemon to be _inherently_ evil (i made this up)
