Hey everyone! Both the Old and New version folders have been removed to prioritize only sharing the Remastered versions. Some mixes you hear in this video may most likely not exist anymore and have been removed from the Google Drive Archives.
The Big Green Room music is so unique, dreamy and Un-Destiny like that it seems so weird for it to be attached to this mission, yet it fitted perfectly nonetheless.
Nothing like seeing the Old Comments from Pre-Beyond Light as well as the Into the Light Comments together. I will always remember the days waiting on IO for the Public Event and praying it was a blight just to find one of the aspects and "Investigate the Anomaly"
I loved this mission so much. Everything about it just felt oppressive and like you are truly in danger or stopping something extremely bad from happening
@epic9203 precisely this! The mission itself wasn't crazy difficult. But the pressure of time adds weights to completing it. It gives it pleasure in success.
@@pedrodecarvalho8648 well it's a pRETTY MASSIVE FUCKING PRICE, PEDRO. Luke Smith KILLED 4 (and a half) planets and that alone emasculates us! Not to mention what he did to my redrix. I had to main Cold denial. Cold denial! A guardian should not have to do this! (Very obscure reference but you get the point.)
god i wish one day this community would take its rose glasses off, poeple KEEP doing this. Pre beyond light was not that fun. This mission was the best of a really shit time in the franchises history. You should be well remembering that. After all, it was literally a re do of the original timed secret mission from destiny 1 where you aquired the black spindle.
I miss exploring every nook and cranny of this dungeon and getting all the rewards including the ship. I miss all the old content like leviathan and the moon titan hopefully bungo brings back a way to replay old content
It's only taken 2 years of Whisper not being in the game, but I'm not kidding when I froze hearing the Darkness motif in the Ikora intro and Savathûn's Song in the Darkness intro. Musical foreshadowing at its finest.
This with Xol’s quotes during the mission in the background 💯💯💯trying to find everything Xol said during the mission. It was all just so ambient and kinda creepy
cascading time and deep stone lullaby are two of the most special things nestled in all the beautiful music in this franchise. theses a moment where cascading time sounds like actual digital waves. its awe inspiring how cool it is..... since it stands in stark contrast to all the french horns we're used to.
One of the best parts of D2s revitalization, went out of my comfort zone in season of dawn and mastered this and heroic, pushed my clan and did it together as well as help others get their whisper. Main on XB1 as a Titan, loved speed running the parkour til I found the shortcut lol thank you for this 👍
God the motif at 16:42 still gives me chills. So happy it's back. I wish that there was more after the green room so you could hear all of it in game. 17:24 is also phenomenal
I got to the point with this mission where I could just solo it and began helping people. In like a week I helped three people as a complete casual. 1. Wish I knew I made that more public rather than asking people on patrols if they wanted to do it 2. Wish it wasn't removed
I've been playing this on Beat Saber. Soooo good. I kept failing and kept coming back until I finally cleared the map. Almost felt the same as when I spent a week every night with my brother trying to clear the actual mission in D2, using a poor Internet connection with two Stadia accounts before Crossplay was available. It was difficult but we eventually prevailed. Such a precious memory to me as it brought us closer. For this reason, hearing this track makes me feel emotional yet empowered. Thank you for uploading this, I thought it would be lost forever after so many videos got taken down ❤
Today, April 9th, 2024 "THE WHISPER" has returned to DESTINY 2. It's the first time I was able to play this mission. If not for the infinite revives, I wouldn't have been able to complete this mission Solo in my first run. Total 26 deaths. Has one of the best ambiance music in history of D2, like this retro style D2 vex theme. This and Presage have one of the best exotic mission music score ever. It was such a pain to kill the 4 bosses in the last part. Also, Bungie made area with so much detail, 40 mins is not enough to explore the whole mission. I was in the Green room for 20 mins finding the exit, thought I found the exit at the top of the room by firing a Oracle at the top. Had to resort to the guide 2 times throughout the entire mission, because I was unable to find to exit twice. EDIT: I thought you had to shoot all 3 oracles at the same time to begin the second last encounter just before Last Boss. My ass died so many times trying to kill all 3 bosses at the same time.
Although im happy its back, it also only was so special because of the timer. The normal mission is now 40min which makes it pretty pointless and legend is just way too powercrept. But the first time experience if doing it blind is still great i would assume...
I miss this mission so much - trying to find the correct way til the end within the time limit was so fun the first time around. The only bummer was the fight at the end which was quite nasty when solo with the pre-Beyond Light loadout options. Wishing so hard that they all return from the Vault when the D2 story is at an end.
I do actually! Ever since I've started making these long length Destiny music videos for people, I've been to both the official sub and a similar subreddit. Didn't work as much but it sure does start a bit of talk. Thank you for this tho!
Could you upload a version without the parts before "Fixed Point"? I think they don't really go well with the rest of this mix. Otherwise, excellent job!
I understand what you mean. I added those previous songs since they appear in the beginning of that mission but it does stretch for a while. Will consider remastering it and uploading it either on the channel or the drive folder link. Will update you.
Good news, a short announcemetn video is on the way with a google drive link update from the old one! Expect it done within this week or the next since it will be getting extra busy in the Leviathan now.
It may be that all online archives of the song were deleted, unfortunately. The Google Drive still has it up for archive, listening, and download if you want to get it from there. That was the original name of the song though.

Guys only 1 week left until we can finally play the best secret mission after 3+ years once again
it has been 3 thousand years

I think the main reason this mission felt like that was because of only one word:... Time
@@epic9203 yes they should do more missions like it really felt urgent
@epic9203 precisely this! The mission itself wasn't crazy difficult. But the pressure of time adds weights to completing it. It gives it pleasure in success.

One of Destiny's best soundtracks right here. Its a shame the recent copyright strike drama removed so many other bangers! :(
Everyone arguing Over their favorite track and I’m over here like 32:12
That's the most PEAK soundtrack of this mission.
I play Destiny since not long , it is my first time doing this mission and GOD this melody gave me chills
that entire section is the best
27:32 is my favorite part. i heard this when i was in the boss room and it always gave me goosebumbs.

Good news! You will be able to experience this mission again on Tuesday !
"Drowning in the deep" is so great.
I'm so happy that this survived, can't find any other reuploads with the full soundtrack of this mission. Doing the travelers work my dude.
Fixed point is mental
I cant wait to hear this ingame again next week
This one mission's soundtrack was so different from the entire game, yet so fitting. What a shame that this mission was cut out.

Hey I know i'm a year late but do you mind telling me the song's name on beat saber? Thanks!
Oh man I miss this quest and the feelings of going through it for the first time.
This is so wonderful. I ran this endlessly just to explore around and listen. This was the greatest experience I've ever had in a game
Everyone loves the green room but I loved the Fixed Point section music!
Man it's good to be back now! Still as tough as nails as I remember it if you play it on Legendary, and the changes made are all REALLY good!
Man newer players will NEVER know the fun struggle I’ve getting the perfect Ikelos shotgun roll just to clear the final room
Novamente estou aqui, que missão maravilhosa, eternamente gravada na minha memória, ainda mais com essas músicas. "SE AFOGARAM!"
31:08 I will always love downtimes during the action! It makes it more energetic.
Idk why fixed point hits so hard I love this whole mission and soundtrack. Stoked it’s back

masterpiece. The mission and the music.

My man, you are doing gods work
i cant wait to hear this in game again
you are such a chad for putting the google drive link thank you so much
Best music I've ever listened to
Omg so much nostalgia
So are we gonna look past how the last track pretty much teased Witch Queen’s raid premise? Drowning in the Deep. Rise from the Deep or drown in it.
Drown in the deep has always been a thing I think
The deep is just another word for darkness, like the sky is for the light
Its back.
The epic quest and music, unfortunately, have been deleted when I return to Destiny again and can only remain in the memories.
On Tuesday Whisper returns!
I just realized that "fixed point" samples the opening notes to warmind.
Ah yes, Exotic Catalyst farm - the mission.
this channell is really underrated anyway, lel, you should promote a bit yourself on reddit, i think
