yeeaahh lmao. The work around for it was sirens being able to charge the key but by the time New tales and the books drop, they've completely forgot about it.
I'm p sure the explanation for that was that the Pandora vault that was opened in BL1 was meant to open every 200 years to keep the destroyer fed, I don't think that was referring to every vault
Nope. A huge plot point for bl2 was charging the key to enter the vault of the warrior. It was set in stone as the 200 year rule but was later retconned in bl3 in Nyriad's writing saying that the vault in bl1 was just a mechanism to feed the prisoned destroyer every 200 years.
One thing that’s always confused me about Nyriad’s warning about “the seventh”, is that we know Nyriad (and her powers) were locked in the vault for centuries until Typhon opened it. So the Phase-Leech siren wasn’t known about. If people believed there could only be 6 sirens before leaning about Nyriad, then the 7th has already been found and known about.
A potential explanation is that others could have deciphered Nyriad’s writings before Tannis. So even though there were only 5 known sirens existing at a time, people knew Nyriad’s power were hidden and believed her to be the 6th.
I think too, a lot of what we know about borderlands is told from individuals. I.e jack saying there can only be 6 sirens at a time. Like when they go against what they’ve said before in the lore, I look at it is those people just being wrong, and we’re still learning and finding out more about the vaults and borderlands. That has also been consistent in characters, they thinking one thing but then being wrong. Just brings out a human side to the game imo
That's giving the writing a lot of credit lmao. Personally, I like the solid rules to stay solid. Unnecessary retcons are annoying when the writers just don't want to act in the rules they made for themselves. Though, if the reveal is done right in a way that makes sense I have no problem with it.
@@Cashew1405 which is fair. I’m hoping that I’m right although that’s more hope than anything lol. But I do hope BL4 makes sense and follows up on some of the plot holes they left in 3. Either way I’m excited for it
I imagine that with New Tales, they'll pretty much keep certain vital plot points, but kind of sweep a number of the dumb shit under the rug. Hell, it honestly could be a clever, funny and in-character thing to have what happens in the game, basically be some blockbuster shlock-fest inspired by the real events, that Octavio had commissioned with his newfound fame and fortune. Could at least lead to some jokes about the movie being a bomb, in a rather poking fun at your own blunders type of meta sense.
@@Cashew1405 Plus, I also thought of some cool way, that they could've had Mister Torgue wrestle his own company back into his own hands, that could've happened at some point before New Tales. Like, whilst he was going all pro-bono, the company tried to go without him, only they couldn't really recapture the same spark they had with him around, which lead to a lot of crap behind the scenes, even someone taking out Mr Smith, to where the company was pretty much in danger of ending up like the old Atlas corporation. Which could lead to Mister Torgue finding out and going to the vault hunters for some help, where they basically go head-to-head against the current CEO (who may or may not be a certain satirical caricature of any real world hack businessman), and Mister Torgue gets his rights as CEO back, with him possibly considering finding an heir, considering his age amongst other stuff he'd be going through at the time. Oh, and also, unlike Eruptionfang (who I kind of had to question some of his complaints, considering how there's always been ridiculous stuff that've gone on in the series, even when it was supposedly at its peak, like with Crazy Earl managing to eat a car with just a fork, as well as just calling out how he seems to kind of not understand that wheelchair-bound people, especially ones who have learned to adapt to one for quite some time, are not completely useless just because they can't use their legs to walk), I also don't mind Tediore being the corporate threat in that game, as with the amount of times the company has been considered a laughing stock by everyone else, it really isn't all that far-fetched for someone like Susan Coldwell to basically take over and try to make the company something more than that.
It'd be so fitting to with how poorly delivered some scenes were. Like the figurine fighting games being essentially product placement but even cringier and out of place
Honestly, i thought presquel was just a side story until four confirmed it, hopefully borderlands 4 goes back to what made the first two the best and your character should be able to interact with the crew the past 3 kept the character silent like as if they didn't matter, would be cool if we can play as siren Tannis
Pre-sequel actually didn't keep the playable characters silent. All of them had unique convocations with characters and their own character arks. They have confirmed at pax though that the playable characters will have a bigger impact in 4, so that's awesome.
I don’t care too much for the overall story of the games, I just hope the bl4 story is a lot more like the bl2 one where it’s actully witty, we’ll written, and funny, and the gameplay is like the bl3 gameplay, if they screw up either (likely will screw up both) it will be a major flop
Actually, Mr Torgue at one point in one of the games (forget which) does say he’s planning on taking back his company from the board of directors so he could technically be CEO again by New Tales

Different teams, different kind of games, different project type. While RoR2 DLC is not a good sign by any means It's not what makes me worried for Borderlands 4. I am worried for Borderlands 4... that just not the reason lol
Borderlands 4 will be their best yet I can feel it. I think the guardians message will tie in more. I think Bl3 was just another addition to story prior to the 4th. I’m stoked nonetheless
Thanks! It a combination of the Blade Fury AR plus purple tree skills "Clear the Mind" and "Body and Mind". Basically Bosy and Mind gives Amara's melee attacks bonus splash damage depending on what action skill element you have equipped(if you have the skill Illuminated Fist), but because the blade Fury does melee damage, it's bullets get the bonus splash. Very fun build if you have the dlc
I've said thus before, but I think the best way to bring Moze back would be through a takedown. Like how Loreili was talking to you throughout the Maliwan takedown, Moze could talk you through the Vladof
I would be surprised if anything from new tales is mentioned again on account of how unanimously hated it was i was under the impression it wasnt even cannon
Hopefully 1) passing along not just arcing the same handful of characters regardless how the story moves shoehorning the same few in. 2)no multiverse. Its rarely done well.. 3)Better variety in endgame 4)respect the already established lore from 1 2 3 presequel
Oh and polished. 2 had issues on ps3 especially multiplayer.. I've been seeing a lot of crashes and several unkillable enemies mostly in maliwan takedown or cartel last room preventing finish.
Feels like gearbox needs to just quit trying to keep the story tied to these characters. The base story of 4 people hunting for treasure was enough. They could go anywhere in the universe and have us explore new and interesting mysteries. The more time they spend on this circle of characters the more they are going to mess it up
I have doubts about if they'll handle the story in Bl4. History shows that they have a really hard time with that. Considering that people are begging for the later half of the current series story to just not be cannon is very evident of it.
@Cashew1405 I want to see the end of the series in this game, not because I want a meaningful ending to a series, I just want the trash stories to end. I don't know what they're doing over there but they gotta get their shit straight if they want to expand the story more.
