As a Vietnamese American, I’m relearning and newly learning so much more of the Vietnamese language because of you, Max! Thanks for that. And it just goes to show your viet is getting so much better with each and every video. Also snails are so underrated and delicious. It’s so versatile with the different sauces too.
Max your ỐCcupation is to educate us with a variety of what snails vietnam has on offer. You're truly a local now, hard to believe you've been in Vietnam for 3.5 years, and yet you know so many wonderful dishes to eat and where to find them.. great job, brother
Eating snails with my grandfather is my only memory of him, I remember sitting on top of his shoulders as we strolled to the market to feast on snails with him, I was only 5yrs old, thnx for taking me there Max, I love all your videos, hope to meet you some day 😁
Finally, a caster who describes the food using more than "wow" or "so good". I love snails but have only had them with Garlic Butter especially since 10 "generic" Snails would run upwards of US $15-20 in Restaurant in Atlanta. Those look so succulent and diverse in flavor and I am jealous. You have a new subscriber.
As a vietnamese that was born in canada, really surprise at your vocabulary and your understanding of the language. I've been trying to teach my husband for years. Whenever I visit Vietnam, I'm asked, when did I leave Vietnam because my vietnamese is almost perfect. And they are floored when I tell them I was born in canada.
You are very polite and respectful to everyone regardless who they are. You probably are the only foreign RUclipsr that don’t take advantage of the food vendors’ generosity. In another word, you don’t lean on white privilege 👏👍🏻
When i watch american peoples review about Việt Nam i usually skip about 4-5 mins but when i watch ir videos i alway enjoy and watch full of it keep good bro!(my English is bad sorry)
Great show Max! I really enjoyed your shows. I travel to Vietnam often to try different foods in VN. Hopefully i will meet you in VN to see you live in action. I would love to give you a tour in VN.
You seems like a cool and down to earth guy to hang out with! Thankyou for all the reviews! Looking forward for my trip to Vietnam soon prolly end of this year or next year. Be safe in Vietnam Max.

Very interesting. I bet the grilled ones are great. I like the chili sauce. I bet it was delish. Being french, I've tried the escargot a time or two, but your dishes looked more interesting......😊
Great video Max. Love it. For everyone that is asking where is this place. Max put it in the description of the video with a Google map of the location. Thanks Max.
As a snail lover who has only ever had the same sort (done the French way with garlic butter), I would be all over that place!!! Thanks for another fascinating video, mate.
Vui quá Max oi , người Mỹ mà chịu khó nói theo tên ốc ghê , người Vietnam mà còn không biết nữa . Ăn ngon và rẻ quá hén ? So funny to hear Max repeated what the people said ! but you are very good to understand our language , thank you , cảm ơn nghe !
Your Vietnamese is getting better by the day. Tasty stuff... both with the fatty coconut sauce and the hot mixed sweet fish sauce. All for an expensive price of $0.41!
The dishes with crushed peanuts and those with coconut sauce are always my go-to. I'm terrible at remembering their names, so I just choose them based on how they look.

Snails horrified me until I went to Morocco and had a bowl of them. It's still a little horrifying to think about but if they're cooked and spiced properly, taste like chicken.
At 3:12 I am shocked that you also use "eehhhj" (like, the sound for "ahh I see, I see") in our language. Idk why but I find that very hilarious but also interesting
