I was left speechless by the end of this - from technical appreciation at the start to emotional awe at the end 😮 Absolutely blown away by Angelina’s performance. What did you think?
Love this - my fav reaction to this song to date. Love the excitement and the analysis. You smashed it! xx I really like the ending, the pace, how well AJ & orchestra worked well together in this. I love the "still mine" bit even more at her Portsmouth concert last year ruclips.net/video/wqJgZFMXEFE/видео.html
I was blown away just like you. I landed in some shrubs up in a mountainside somewhere and I haven't got a clue where I am. But all I have to do is to listen some more to Angelina, because her angelic voice will lift me up and guide me home again.
Watching Angelina daily she has developed a way to connect her listener's to the songs the way she feels the song, her constant shift in tone and emphasis on certain word and phrases makes it just stand alone .you pointed that out so well ,thumbs up to your reaction
Nina, Angelina sang this in a tender, emotional way because the recipient, Narges Mohammadi, who is a woman's rights advocate currently in prison & on a hunger strike in Iran. Her twin 17 yo children (boy & girl) & her husband live in exile in France & haven't seen Narges in over 9 years, so that's who Angelina is singing to. The song is originally from a movie about a man who is unjustly held in prison & longs to be with his family again, a most appropriate theme for this solemn occasion. To me, the ending sounds of Angelina's falsetto are some of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard & brings me to tears every time. Great analysis/reaction Nina, you are always on point. Thank you!
The more I listen to this performance the more I see in it. Watch her facial expression, too, especially as she ascends into the final section. She is really feeling it. You know that the recipient of the Nobel Prize, Narges Mohammadi, is the same nationality as Angelina's grandmother, so I imagine there is a personal connection here.
I like how the orchestra totally dropped away when she sang "Wait for me" at about 7:30 here. This had the effect of focusing attention on that particular phrase, which, of course, encapsulates the entire meaning of the song. And then at the end, they dropped away again just as she started to sing the "me" kicking off the spectacular closing run (made famous by Bobby Hatfield in his live performances of the song). I love how Angelina is never afraid to have her vocal "spotlighted" like that. And in this particular case, the way she pulled back a bit at the very end - what you referred to as "sweetness" - gave that final note a delicacy and, frankly, an unsteadiness that made it seem like she was right on the edge of that note "falling apart", and her voice possibly breaking (which actually happened when she performed the song on the TV show _Lindmo_ at 9). Mad props to her for having the guts to sing it that way.
I believe it was a subtle performance due to the somberness of the occasion. Belting would have focused more on her than the occasion. The humblest Genius out there. Simply amazing.
Thanks a million for your reaction which I loved because you are savvy and knows so much about music. I m a super fan and have followed Angelina since she was 8. I have no knowledge of music, but I can feel her emotions, and I love love her voice. ! I wax so annoyed the other day when a reactor who had no knowledge of music critized Angelina: she started wrong and the last part was ok !!! Omg I thought ! What a fool !! Therefore from now on I listen only to reactors who knows music and can give an explanation like yours!❤❤❤❤
In 2014, a little Norwegian girl was named and codified, a national treasure by both the King of Norway and the prime Minister. That same year, she sang for the Nobel peace prize winners all at the age of 8. In 2023, that same girl, now almost 18 once again graced the Nobel peace prize stage and sang for the recipient once again. That young girl is none other than Angelina Jordan. Angelina Jordan made history with this performance. Angelina is the only solo singer under the age of 18 to have performed twice at the Nobel peace prize concert. When I learned the story of Narges Mohammadi, this years recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, and the history of the song "Unchained Melody", I fully understood why Angelina Jordan chose this song. P.S.: Angelina arranged the music and vocals for this performance. She thanked the director of KORK publicly for allowing her to do this.
Michael, nice comment but will add that Angelina is almost never do the final music arrangement but she has a clear musical intent she communicates about and then either the conductor or other skilled musician (sometimes the producer of music recording) arranges the musical framework out of her musical intention (it's a teamwork). But neverless it doesn't diminish her almost ingenious way to interpret (reconstruct) songs fr very young age. 🙏🇸🇪
@@visionblow thank you for your comment. I was referring to Angelina's Instagram post wherein she thanked the conductor for allowing her to change the music.
Wonderful reaction, thanks Nina. She is the beautiful young and unique singer who has already sung on 2 different occasions at the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony, at just 17 years old! Her ability to move those who listen to her is absolutely incredible. What a sweet, fascinating and intimate interpretation of this mythical song, absolutely suitable for the occasion of the tribute to Narges Mohammadi! I was moved to see and hear Angelina singing in such an incredibly mature and charming way, this wonderful version of a fantastic song and so appropriate to the occasion, 7 years after the last time, in the same studios and with some of the musicians who accompanied her as a child, when she took her first steps into her musical future. Here Angelina was simply fantastic and "unchained".💛🧡❤
Seeing you reacting to this .. this morning made me happy. This was a tribute to Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Narges Mohammadi who is in an Iranian prison for her activities for Human Rights in Iran .. in that country you can't support freedom for women without dire consequences. Her twin children, boy and girl age 17 were in the audience .. and in fact were sitting at the front near Angelina while she sang. The original song was from a 1955 movie titled Unchained .. a man singing of his love and longing for his loved ones while in prison. This makes this tribute very appropriate and why it was sung and the "why" Angelina sang it the way she did. Note that Angelina's maternal grandmother Mery is Iranian which makes Angelina 1/4 Iranian herself. I believe she speaks Farsi too learned from Mery.
Nina, I'm sad. I knew you would love Angelina's performance in this beautiful setting with a full orchestra and I wanted you to play it all over again for us. But, the beauty of these video's is that I can play this one over again if I so desire, which I will. Angelina sings with such emotion she touches our hearts when we listen to her sing. In this particular performance she had reason to be even more emotional (if that is possible!) because of the circumstances involving the event. The Nobel Peace Prize Award was given to Narges Mohammadi, an Iranian woman imprisoned in Iran because she spoke out about women's rights and the oppression of women in general. Her husband and two children currently are living in France and the two children (twins, a boy and a girl in their teens) went to Oslo for the Ceremony to accept the Award for their mother. Angelina's connection to the moment is interesting. She was born in Oslo and this is not the first time she sang for a recipient of the Peace Prize Award, she had also done so as a young child (I believe at 8 years old). Angelina's wonderful grandma who has had such a great influence on Angelina since the very beginning is Iranian and, she too, was a child prodigy recognized for her achievements as a painter and poet. So, that connection was very clear. The Norwegian orchestra and Angelina had been together years before and were familiar with each other. 'Unchained Melody' was thought to be a perfect song for the situation and, as usual, Angelina put her spin on it and slowing the tempo and as you said, Nina, made it a very soft and touching version of the classic melody. In the rehearsal stage Angelina knew she was getting very emotional about the woman's situation in prison and being separated from her family and was worried she would breakdown at the Ceremony. But, obviously she did not and was spectacular. Nina, at one of your pauses you recognized a phrase as the best, so far, and it was at that moment when you could see and hear the great emotion coming from her voice. It is so much more than technique, it was straight from her heart. Btw, during the performance the woman's children were sitting right in front of Angelina. Some details about Narges Mohammadi is that she has been imprisoned for several years and at one time during her imprisonment the Iranian government considered releasing her from prison BUT, with a condition, that she would no longer speak about women's issues. Narges met with her family and, of course, told them how much she loved them, how much she missed them and wanted so much to be with them again as a family. BUT, she reminded them how strongly she felt about the issues she raised and told them she could never agree to such a condition. So, she remains in prison. Another factor involved is she said if she was released she would remain in Iran and not leave the Country. It was reported Narges went on a hunger strike and I don't know anymore about that but we all hope she is okay. In summation, I think it was a wonderful gesture by the Peace Prize committee to issue the award to Narges (given to her children) so as a way of never forgetting her dedication to do what she believes has been the right thing to do. Nina, when you play it again, perhaps after hearing the story behind the event you can understand what this must of meant to Angelina. On a personal note, I couldn't wait till the time you would react to this performance. And, you didn't disappoint. Thank you so much.
Thanks for the fabulous breakdown. I love her repeating ‘I - I - I need your love’, but this is the first time (after many listens) that I noticed she dropped the ‘n’ of of ‘mine’ to make the two phrases run together and strung out at the same time: ‘Are you still mi…I - I - I need your love’.
Nina thank you SO much for your thoughtful, perceptive analysis of this masterpiece of a performance. Narges' children - twins who are the same age as Angelina - were in the same room and had just moments before been stating in an interview how much they miss their imprisoned mother who they haven't seen in 9 YEARS. Another reactor thought they saw a dried tear streak on Angelina's face. She is especially gifted at choosing the exact right song and interpretation for tributes such as this. I'm certain Narges' children and husband, all living in exile in Paris, were even more deeply moved by this performance than we were - and many tears have been shed by angels listening to this, well, angelic rendition.
This is such a magical performance: Angelina together with the amazing KORK, just wonderful! Especially on such a momentous occasion❤ The ending so beautiful. Angelina will be performing in Las Vegas on the 29th of February. It's in the Westgate Hotel where Elvis resided for the longest time. A bit of of the way for me, but for anyone able to go, better secure your tickets!
Chills and tears in me even now in February. She sang tenderly to that imprisoned woman and her family living in France. So tenderly. She represented Norway really well. Grandma Ellen happy to hear you again, Nina.
For me her soft and quiet approach musically wasn't only appropriate, but it met the orchestral arrangement in just the right way. She allowed her voice to become a true part of the composition and arrangement. And yes, she also added her own style, but not in some way to show off, but rather to show up. I thought her own vocal arrangement to meet the orchestral was as impressive as anything else about this performance. Truly sublime.
Angelina often (seemingly effortlessly) brings complex beauty to her performances in an industry frequently more interested in scandal, the risque, the outrageous, and the theatrical..
I love the way Ms. Jordan can transport us to the remembrances of the past, but let's not forget that this young living legend is a contemporary, a masterclass artist that is continuing to experiment with tone and technique to create a newness in music, that will dominate world music for decades to come. It will be Ms. Jordan's creativity in lyricism and musicality, that will captivate the world in the coming years, to make her name synonymous with greatness. ♾ Rb
The G5 at the end is so perfectly controlled. This wouldn't be a big deal for your typical soprano but coming up from the lower octaves where she is most comfortable it really stands out.
I was having a pretty good day and then it just got so much better. Nina reacting to Angelina and "Unchained Melody" no less. Great reaction to a great song.
Wonderful reaction, Nina!! Thank you so much!! I love your detailed analysis of AJ’s vocals . I personally appreciate Angelina keeping the song unpretentious, no showing off , no belting which we know she can if it suits the song ,but respectful of the person who has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize - who is in prison. So sad.
Angelina has always exuded outstanding class in her vocal arrangements. She is never a vocal show off but gives every song occasion and performance the dignity it deserves . One of the very few one can say this about. Love your reaction and comments!.
Nina, great reaction and analysis as usual. Thank you! One of the things that always leaves me in awe about Angelina is her musical and emotional inteligence. She always knows how to "taylor" a song to match either the original intention of it or the circumstances surrounding each performance. In this case, her approach and arrangement was sincerely intended to honour Narges, her children and husband who were in attendance and the plight they are going through. In my opinion, her delivery and that of the orchestra sounded like a prayer, supported by powerful lyrics that, if applied to Narges situation, are perfect: her desire to be with her family and feel their love, the loneliness, the slow passing of time, the reassurance that she will get back home. Another thing that makes this performance more impressive is that it was live, at the Nobel Peace Prize concert (such responsibility!) and that she must have coordinated the performance with KORK long distance and have maybe two rehearsals before the actual presentation. UNBELIEVABLE!
It's testament to her raw talent (and all the improvised performances she's done before) that Angelina can do this with so little rehearsing. Thank you so much for your comment and for watching! Much appreciated.
Wow! I wanted more Angelina, but I also wanted more Nina! An amazing performance, a great reaction! The connection between technical skill and emotionality is highlighted by your astute ear and your ease of analytical communication. Thanks.
This performance is epic and will be a nexus point in musical history. With this performance Ms. Jordan has solidify her position in the halls of all the great musical legends of musical history. ♾Rb
Ms. Jordan's epic performance, made just a little over a month ago. Ms. Angelina love of humanity is on full display and has sets her apart from all other artists of our era. I am humbled to live in these times of Ms. Jordan's artistry. ♾ Rb

To me this is the embodiment of Divine Grace in sound. My only analogy, would be, to the likes of Maria Callas, The stature, the elegance, the enrapturing beauty. We all are blessed with the privilege of witnessing this history of Ms. Jordan's transformative artistry. ♾Rb
Angelina and her singing is unimaginable. Throughout Angelina's career, the most common reaction to her singing, at any age and with songs of whatever genre, is "Wow." What soul and consideration to every song, the expression, and artistic flair of a true superstar. Thanks for your wonderful reaction!

Thank you for a wonderful reaction! I think this was a masterpiece! So heart warming soulful and so right for this cause! Delivering emotional performances is her top skills. 👌💫💎❤️🔥
Thank you Nina 💜 I really appreciate all your knowledge on the music accompanying the vocals. I have been going to the Sydney Symphony for years and to hear Angelina with an orchestra is perfection.
Angelina inspires me to do what I can to help make the world a better place, so I am asking all angels and others to spread the story of Narges Mohammadi. Angelina was recorded here in December 2023 at the Nobel Peace prize ceremony in Oslo Norway, performing this beautiful version of Unchained Melody. She paid tribute to Narges, who is currently on a hunger strike while imprisoned in Iran, for being an activist for women's rights. Her two twin children, who are 17, spoke on her behalf at this event. The more people who are aware and call for change, the more likely the leaders of Iran will set her free. Acts of kindness are inspirational, as Angelina always reminds us. We angels, and all others must honor Angelina, and those who represent our values, by doing all we can to help, and be kind to others. Even the smallest gestures can make a difference. If you have not already done so, please provide artist links to the official channels, social media and even links to Spotify and iTunes, as many reactors have done. Most importantly, encourage your viewers to use those links the same way as you do for your own channel. That will help ensure her success and spreading peace and love to the world.
Absolutely wonderful reaction Nina. I agree that Angelina is able to use her phrasing so wonderfully throughout the song. Even though I agree with you, it may sound a bit loose, but it flows so well together in her vocal with her dynamic control in and out and her wonderful vibrato just really add to her emotional connection with her audience. This is what makes Angelina so great. Is that she is able to free flow because of her jazz influences from a young age that she understands how to manipulate her vocal techniques to give such a dimensional emotional experience to her audience. I could feel her emotional connection of this song through the lyrics that she projected and I could feel her heart and soul totally behind every word she sang. This is one of her finest live performances to date. I can imagine that not many 17-year-olds could get up on a stage like this in one of the most prestigious events of the world. She is singing to the recipients of this award, with a magnificent orchestra, live audience and to a national TV audience of millions and just becoming totally immersed in her stage delivery and performance ! . I believe that Angelina Jordan was meant to sing and is really at home on the stage. As you can see, keep hosting my friend. You are so much appreciated by all the angels all over the world. You are a wonderful and tremendously beautiful soul. Sending you much thanks and love from Canada always 👍🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️❤️❤️
What a lovely comment! Thank you so much. And yes, I still have to remind myself Angelina is only 17 - just imagine what performances we will have from her at 30, or 40!
If you watch the Righteous Brothers' live 1965 TV performance, that's the way Bobby Hatfield ended the song. The high note at the end was big back then too.
Dearest Nina...this has been the most wonderful reaction to this performance I've heard... EMOTION is the foundation on which Angelina bases all her covers; EXCELLENCE is in the details and this is the crowning touch in everything she sings! The results? MAGIC👌🏻 You applied the same approach on your reaction, both to the nuances applied by the orchestra and THE VOICE!! Brilliantly done!!! Much affection and appreciation; you truly recognize the GIFT and heart of this rare talent named ANGELINA! Peace!!❣️
The parallels to Ms. Callas are uncanny. However in Ms. Jordan's case she is the true unicorn. No one in the musical world that has graced this world, has effected so many and compelled them to be better to themselves and others, just by the force of being. A truly historical moment in musical history. ♾ Rb
Wonderful reaction to her beautiful performance: interesting to see the rehearsal for this where she asks someone if they liked the ending / was it OK ... :)
@@ninaschofield i have posted the link several times for you but YT keeps deleting it... anyway, it's easy to find if you just search with "ANGELINA JORDAN Unchained Melody rehearsal"
She does seem to be pushing higher than she used to and it is incredibly pretty when she does. Makes me feel like she has been working on her higher notes in recent times.
Actually, unless I’m mistaken, she hit that same high note at the end at age 9 and again around age 11. I think Angelina’s range is way higher than any of us knows or has yet heard. Nina, you are an amazing reactor and musician in your own right. I just love your analyses! Blessings and love~
@@dianedove1000 I know the performance you mean, but I recall it sounded like quite a stretch for her at the time, whereas now it sounds far more controlled.
One reactor had small issues with her "Low beginning " and " High Ending ", and simply said, that is just their personal preference, they don't like low beginnings and high endings. I so much, appreciate your professionalism and Honesty not based on quirks, Nina. I have watched this so,so many times ( always fresh ), and had never noticed this orchestral response on her phrase... that's one of many reasons l love your reactions.
Ahh I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Great orchestration can make all the difference behind a brilliant vocal like this. Thanks for your comment and support 🥰
Nina, I run for my earbuds when i see you're reacting to Angelina. Like many of her performances over the years, this brought tears. Your beautiful expert analysis also brought tears. Angelina is stunning, as are you. Thank you.
In the age of hammer to nail belting notes, AJ meticulously carves you up like a well renowned chef. She delicately sprinkles the correct and right amount of flavors, takes time to let it marinate to perfection, and then serves it up with class. Delicious to the ears.
Nina thanks for reacting to this, I have listen to allot of reactors on this video, but it was really special hearing a vocalist react Loved your reaction
Yes, purposely subdued with subtle measures and then the end is exquisite. It gets me every time when she hits the first sustain with vibrato. It is operatic. So fitting for the context. I enjoy your analysis. We can see a baby singing laying on a bed at 18 months old to this.
Thank you so much for the best reaction to this performance I have heard of among the many reactions I have listened to. It taught me more about Angelina's ability. Enjoyed it very much.
The first time I ever listened to Angelina she was singing "Unchained Melody" back when she was 9 years old. It was incredible and I was instantly hooked. But, what a contrast 8 years later. Imagine what the future holds... I've listened to dozens of reactions to this performance. Yours is by far the most enjoyable. Your knowledge, honest delight and appreciation for this very special performance is so great to watch... Thank you so much.👣👣💕

I think you may be my favourite reactor Nina. You know your stuff, and educate us in a great way. Angelina made this a gorgeous and deeply meaningful piece of art. How she managed to keep her composure here and not have a breakdown is beyond me. Just think of her iranian heritage, how AJ gave her shoes away, and the two Mohammadi twins before her. She can and will change the world. She already has.
When I saw this at the live broadcast and heard where she started that last phrase I went all😮 because I knew what note she would have to end it on, and when she did, with such grace and elegance - pure bliss 😊 to my ears that hit me deep in my ❤
So glad that you have finally reacted to this performance! I do wish that you had understood the occasion a bit better to understand the more reserved way in which she presented this. No points off for omitting a small part of the performance before "open arms of the sea".🤨 Thank you for keeping Angelina on your wonderful channel.
Thanks so much Ron! Yes for some reason RUclips copyright wouldn't let me keep that small part in, but I am glad you enjoyed it nonetheless. What a beautiful performance and reading all about the occasion in better detail has been very enlightening.

Thanks so much Steve 🙏🏻
I love your reaction and thank you for putting words to so many of my thougts and feelings about this incredible performance.
Yea let’s hope that as many Angels as possible can be there to support Angelina. I got our tickets.
The ending gets to me also, all the emotion packed into just a few notes.
Thank you! 😊😊
Absolutely, it was such a wonderful ending.
The girl is on another level her musicality is the greatest that's one for the conisuar so delicate but powerful too amazing great reaction too ❤❤❤
Thanks so much for watching!
I was having a pretty good day and then it just got so much better. Nina reacting to Angelina and "Unchained Melody" no less. Great reaction to a great song.
Thank you so much - and have a wonderful rest of your day too!
💎 Beyond Beautiful Perfection 💎
Wonderful reaction, Nina!! Thank you so much!! I love your detailed analysis of AJ’s vocals . I personally appreciate Angelina keeping the song unpretentious, no showing off , no belting which we know she can if it suits the song ,but respectful of the person who has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize - who is in prison. So sad.
Yes, it was the perfect amount of restraint - I'm so pleased you enjoyed my analysis! Thank you for your comment :)
I have a whole new appreciation for this one after your awesome reaction. My heart was feeling it even more. She’s just AMAZING.
I also used to play the French horn. So, it helps to understand how it’s all put together so perfectly ❤❤
Thanks.
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much ☺️
This performance is epic and will be a nexus point in musical history. With this performance Ms. Jordan has solidify her position in the halls of all the great musical legends of musical history. ♾Rb
Wow what a beautiful reaction thank you for your knowledge of understanding this beautiful rendition of a masterpiece from Angelina. ❤️
Thank you so much!
Ms. Jordan's epic performance, made just a little over a month ago. Ms. Angelina love of humanity is on full display and has sets her apart from all other artists of our era. I am humbled to live in these times of Ms. Jordan's artistry. ♾ Rb
All my respect for Angelina keeping it classy and magnificently subtle.
Nina, I always look forward to your reaction.
Thank you so much!
Nina - thank you so much for appreciating Angelina's performance, in particular the ending of the song. It is truly exceptional.
Best reaction to this performance.
This was a wonderful reaction, ty Nina. A beautiful rendition of this song, warm and heart felt.
The Queen of song live on stage !!!
Quando guardo e ascolto le tue reazioni, resto completamente incantato! La tua sensibilità e la tua conoscenza musicale sono eccezionali!
E poi... Sei davvero meravigliosa! ❤❤❤
Grazie di cuore ❤
Given her age I’d guess that’s she’s only achieved 80% of her vocal potential! Woah!
Angelina Jordan is the finest musical instrument on the planet.
When it comes to musical talent, none can compare to Angelina Jordan. She is not just a singer, but a musical instrument herself. Her voice is capable of producing the most exquisite sounds, from the softest whispers to the most powerful belts. She can sing in any genre, any language, any mood. She can improvise, harmonize, and mesmerize. She is the finest musical instrument on the planet, and we are lucky to hear her perform. © Larry D. Pifer
To me this is the embodiment of Divine Grace in sound. My only analogy, would be, to the likes of Maria Callas, The stature, the elegance, the enrapturing beauty. We all are blessed with the privilege of witnessing this history of Ms. Jordan's transformative artistry. ♾Rb
Angelina is getting and better.❤❤❤❤❤ with a Vegas show coming at the end of February
Synergy is the combined efforts of individuals working together to produce a joint effect that is greater than the sum of the parts acting alone.
The collaboration between Angelina Jordan and the KORK Orchestra at the Noble Peace Prize Ceremony 2024 was a remarkable display of musical excellence, and synergy. The young singer's soulful voice and expressive interpretation of the song, Unchained Melody, captivated the audience and complemented the orchestra's rich and nuanced sound. The performance was a fitting tribute to the peace laureates and a celebration of harmony and diversity© Larry D. Pifer
Great reaction. Shes amazing.
Wonderful reaction, Nina. This version of Unchained Melody is even better than the live version I heard her sing at Portsmouth in September.
Angelina and her singing is unimaginable. Throughout Angelina's career, the most common reaction to her singing, at any age and with songs of whatever genre, is "Wow." What soul and consideration to every song, the expression, and artistic flair of a true superstar. Thanks for your wonderful reaction!
And everything live -- with no autotune.

Such a majestic performance.
Now I really believe she is an Angel. 😇❤
She certainly did that song her own.
AJ has all those cute TikToks out there but now we see what she really does with her time. This was awesome and, as others have mentioned here, she arranged this. Talent indeed!
That’s bc she’s still a teenager. But there’s nothing this girl can not sing
Thank you for a wonderful reaction! I think this was a masterpiece! So heart warming soulful and so right for this cause! Delivering emotional performances is her top skills. 👌💫💎❤️🔥
Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you Nina 💜
I really appreciate all your knowledge on the music accompanying the vocals. I have been going to the Sydney Symphony for years and to hear Angelina with an orchestra is perfection.
Excellent reaction without knowing the story of why she’s singing this way
Thank you, Nina, your really good you know.I hope your professional life is going well.
That’s so kind of you! Thank you - yes this is already turning out to be a busy year music work wise. I hope you’re having a great start to 2024 🙏🏻
Angelina inspires me to do what I can to help make the world a better place, so I am asking all angels and others to spread the story of Narges Mohammadi.
@@ninaschofield absolutely agree ! 👍
If you watch the Righteous Brothers' live 1965 TV performance, that's the way Bobby Hatfield ended the song. The high note at the end was big back then too.
Great reaction to the greatest version of Unchained Melody that has ever been performed in its existence since it was written in 1955 and performed by more than 1000 great vocalists.
Unchained Melody Nobel Peace Prize 2023
This video is a masterpiece that I have watched more than 100 times coming from Oslo, Norway. Every time I hear the KORK Orchestra begin playing, I feel a surge of emotion because I know what is coming next: the most amazing rendition of Unchained Melody by the incomparable Angelina Jordan. She has a voice of an angel and a talent beyond words. Unchained Melody Nobel Peace Prize 2023 Some ask why Angelina Jordan would pick Unchained Melody for this event, Narges Mohammadi, the Iranian human rights activist who received the prestigious award remains in Iran. One of the most popular and enduring love songs of all time, Unchained Melody, has a surprising origin. It was composed for a 1955 film called Unchained, which tells the story of a man who is incarcerated for a crime he did not commit. He yearns to be free and reunite with his wife and children, who are waiting for him outside. The song captures his emotions of loneliness, hope and longing, and has been covered by many artists over the years, but none in my lifetime of 76 years have conveyed such emotion as Angelina Jordan did at this performance. © Larry D. Pifer
Peace!!❣️
That’s so kind of you - what a lovely comment, thank you so very much 🤗🩷
The parallels to Ms.
Oh wow really? The ending was spectacular - my favourite part of the whole thing 😊 Thanks so much for watching and for your comment!

I can definitely see the development - her high vocals and a few of her riffs and runs - beautiful stuff!
@@ninaschofield Must be quite some range she has now, given how well known she is known for her lows.
Thank you.
Thank you so much! What a wonderful comment. Really appreciate your support 🙏🏻🩷
French Horns and her voice, gorgeous! Those last few notes did me in if I wasn't already.
In the age of hammer to nail belting notes, AJ meticulously carves you up like a well renowned chef. She delicately sprinkles the correct and right amount of flavors, takes time to let it marinate to perfection, and then serves it up with class. Delicious to the ears.
A perfect description (and the perfect recipe!)
Great Reaction Nina, i felt the same way at the end, the only way to describe it, is Breathtaking !
It really is!
Nina thanks for reacting to this, I have listen to allot of reactors on this video, but it was really special hearing a vocalist react
Loved your reaction
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it 🙌🏻
Yes, purposely subdued with subtle measures and then the end is exquisite. It gets me every time when she hits the first sustain with vibrato. It is operatic. So fitting for the context. I enjoy your analysis. We can see a baby singing laying on a bed at 18 months old to this.
It’s like an old Disney movie came to life.
Words cannot express how good-maybe-“magnificent!”
This is now my favorite performance of this iconic song, and I've heard many. Absolutely STUNNING!!! Your reaction was wonderful, Nina. 💕💕

I think you may be my favourite reactor Nina. You know your stuff, and educate us in a great way. Angelina made this a gorgeous and deeply meaningful piece of art.
