This is a better reskin than Dr Robotniks MBM because they actually include the easy stages

The game tries to be a snes port of squishy splats by using the super famicom version but what they did was just weird here why kirby characters?

I played this game a few years ago. I couldn’t even beat the practice stages, but eventually I actually managed to beat the game 4 times :D
It seems that you are gonna do all Kirby games (including spin-offs) Walkthroughs as well which is great
Well I think kirby's avalanche is pretty good I played both this and dr robotnik's mean bean machine and had fun I still rather tetris if I want a very simple game but I think is a solid time killer

30:14 and they swapped the original Puyo 1 ending with Arle sipping Japanese sake wine (i don't remember Arcade version had this one but at least one port had this ending) with Kirby with a garbage Puyo trophy how smart
it is kinda incredible that they both keep the humorous sound designs of puyo music and delightful quick bpm kirby music at the same time

Kirby, did you know HAL laboratory stolen SEGA’s idea, Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine was made two years before Kirby’s Avalanche, and it used the same gimmicks and design as DRMBM, but instead, it’s Kirby themed. I wonder if anyone else has notice that…

HAL didnt steal SEGA's idea, both of them actually took the idea from the game Puyo Puyo which has the same game mechanics of little blob things falling and being mashed together, not to mention the fact that Puyo Puyo came out BEFORE Mean Bean Machine and Avalanche
Not to mention, there are actually different versions of Puyo Puyo, for example: Hebereke's Popoon, Puyo Puyo Tetris, the Chemical Plant Boss from Sonic Mania, Hebereke's Poppoito, etc.
Edit: Hebereke's poppoito isnt a puyo puyo style game, its more of a Dr. Mario game

Oh man, I barely remember this title or have not seen it before today. The SNES had a giant linrary of video game titles and I have yet to see or experience them all. 😢🤔

Back in 1995, the creator Kazunari Yonemitsu, the person who made puyo puyo, had team up with Nintendo made this game.
Because I think that originally this was going to be a port or remake of Kirby Adventures for the snes or super famicom system.

Interesting, it's clearly based on Super Puyo Puyo 1, but a lot of the sound effects match SPP _2_ instead.

The only thing that kills this game is how terrible the music is. If it's another puzzle game, I'd much rather play Tetris Attack, and if it's another Kirby super nintendo game, I'd much rather play Kirby's Dream Course. That game probably has the best Kirby soundtrack up to that point.
