This game was crafted so beautifully. This is basically a 2D Open-World game. You could go through a door late-game and be returned to near the start. There weren’t proper levels, just exploration. You didn’t need to go down a set path to win, you just need to explore. And the AI of the other Kirby’s are way ahead of it’s time. The fact they split up and get bits and pieces of the game finished for you is just so well done. You can even find them doing their own thing while exploring! And this game is actually pretty difficult! It’s not like other Kirby games where it’s; “inhale the thing to win” you actually need to backtrack to access parts and copy abilities. We need a remaster or another Kirby game like this. This is at the top of my list of the best Kirby games, hopefully Kirby and the Forgotten Land can replicate what made this game such a masterful experience.

I was born 5 months and 21 days after this game released during April 15th 2004. I later got into this game via RUclips in 2009 and fucking hell this game left a mark on me. A lot of people like to say Mario when they think of Nintendo but for me, it was Kirby. I used to spend hours watching people play this game and it was fun. A little story about this game: I remember when I was a little boy I was at a after-school community center for kids and I saw two teenagers playing this in the computer lab with eachother ON the computer. Child me thought it was some cool PC game but I loved the multiplayer aspect and Kirby was such a likable character. And once I saw him transform into other copy abilities it BLEW my mind. I didn’t know at the time but they were actually playing it on an emulator, I say that to say I found the game the next year in GameStop. Back when GBA were being phased out to make room for DS and Wii stuff and they were like $2-$5 per cart! I played and played and played this game and fell in love with the series. This game started my love for video game OST’s, art and eventually smash brothers. And I still have the same cartridge to this day. Priceless memories.
I just found this gem game again in a retro handheld console that my friend gave so it has thousands of other older handheld console games installed and I found that this game was on there. THIS WAS MY CHILDHOOD FAVE, I remembered not taking out the cartridge cuz I didn’t finish the game and had to start all over if I pull the cartridge out 😭😔 but now I know how to save and able to play this amazing game again, I just feel sooooo happy
This is very entertaining. I can't even tell if this is Tool-Assisted or not. Either way, TAS runs are always great joy and this gives me the same vibes.
My gosh 😍 1st 24 minutes is astounding!!! I remember playing this game and enjoying the fact you can have fun for hours on end just listening to the music and having fun destroying every single character just to have them respon in the next screen. Over and over and over
I remember playing this game on my mom’s old 3DS- I remember quite a lot of the levels, it feels like only yesterday I played this when it was actually ~4 years ago q-q I remember literally chasing down that shadow Kirby for whatever it’d give me. I also loved some of the cool skins I could equip
i grew up with this game. as a kid I only beat it in terms of reaching the credits. thanks to your walkthrough, I now have a 100% file. I've always been a completionist. I'm glad its out of the way. i just have to protect that completed file for dear life
The nostalgia trip is real. Looking at it now, idk how the hell i 100% this game as a kid. Over 20 years ago i played and managed to find all the secrets and colour skins and what not. Now i struggle trying to solve a simple zelda puzzle in botw. I got dumber apparently lmao. This game will forever hold a special place in mt heart. For all its creativity and kirby being one of my favourite video game characters. I friggin love that little pink puff ball
@@CodeKirby it took me a real long time too. Like a year id say to get it 100% done. It was so much fun. This game was hard and took me a lot of time to clear! I think it was similiar to Metroid games that's why I found it diffiicult and also enjoyed it very much.
Finally completed the game today!! I had so much fun playing it, the best kirby game imo
Loved this game.
Was my first ebay purchase at 12 years old
Wonderful memories
It has taken me 10 years to find this game again. I couldn't remember what it was called. The memories good and bad.
(Bad because I couldn't save any playthrough)
This is my childhood #sad :(
Same bruh
Jake 80007 I remember playing this with my brother on our Computer man those days were good and I almost forgot about this game
Agree
Pandaninja18 Still never beaten this game yet
Same af.
I feel like this game is essentially an expansion on the Great Cave Offensive concept from Kirby Super Star! 🌟 Except bigger and multiple kirby's! I love it so far!

Kirby: I'm it a Master hand, - god mode 😎
I was born 5 months and 21 days after this game released during April 15th 2004. I later got into this game via RUclips in 2009 and fucking hell this game left a mark on me. A lot of people like to say Mario when they think of Nintendo but for me, it was Kirby. I used to spend hours watching people play this game and it was fun. I'm happy to see this game years later because I now see how amazing this game truly was.
I swear to god there are so many times that I held my breath thinking u for sure were gonna take damage
Kirby and the amazing mirror
King golem moonlight mansion
Mega titan and titan head carrot castle
Gobbler olive ocean

The dance Kirby did. PURE NOSTALGIA
Does… Kirby just stop smiling after defeating “Meta Knight?”
i used to play this game when i was little and watching this is giving me so much nostalgia oh my god
I love how they animated this!
This is the only game i can remember playing on my gameboy
A little story about this game:
I remember when I was a little boy I was at a after-school community center for kids and I saw two teenagers playing this in the computer lab with eachother ON the computer.
1:45:03 that went well with the song
I just found this gem game again in a retro handheld console that my friend gave so it has thousands of other older handheld console games installed and I found that this game was on there. THIS WAS MY CHILDHOOD FAVE, I remembered not taking out the cartridge cuz I didn’t finish the game and had to start all over if I pull the cartridge out 😭😔 but now I know how to save and able to play this amazing game again, I just feel sooooo happy
I remember playing this when i was 6 years old , now im 13❤️
How tf
Jesus I remember playing this when I was 7 and now I'm 22
We need this game for the Switch
E
This is very entertaining.
I can't even tell if this is Tool-Assisted or not. Either way, TAS runs are always great joy and this gives me the same vibes.
My gosh 😍 1st 24 minutes is astounding!!! I remember playing this game and enjoying the fact you can have fun for hours on end just listening to the music and having fun destroying every single character just to have them respon in the next screen. Over and over and over
I remember my friend let me borrow this game, and I let her borrow my Zelda: Minish Cap game, back in the day. The nostalgia!
I remember playing this game on my mom’s old 3DS- I remember quite a lot of the levels, it feels like only yesterday I played this when it was actually ~4 years ago q-q
I remember literally chasing down that shadow Kirby for whatever it’d give me. I also loved some of the cool skins I could equip
One of the best games from my childhood.
i grew up with this game. as a kid I only beat it in terms of reaching the credits. thanks to your walkthrough, I now have a 100% file. I've always been a completionist. I'm glad its out of the way. i just have to protect that completed file for dear life
1:50:21 Kirby!!!! Take my sword!!!!!!
The Mayans Say That Reflection Sends You Into Other Worlds. I Guess That's How The Mirror World Got It's Inspiration.
See dumber. It hasnt even been 20 years since the game released lol regardless. Its a good trip back to almost 20 years ago lol
it literally took me 5 years to learn the game, and to finish it. I wish other kirby games could last this long.
@@CodeKirby it took me a real long time too. Like a year id say to get it 100% done. It was so much fun. The modern game i compare it to mainly now is breath of the wild because both encourage exploration with little to no explanation and puzzle solving. I feel those kind of games are the ones that keep me invested for endless hours ^-^
Love how in the Mirror World meta knight and dedede are just perpetually edgy, evil versions of their normal selves, meanwhile mirror kirby isn't evil or anything, he's just useless in combat compared to normal kirby.
1:58:13 Huh. Shadow Kirby is friendly.
This game always overwhelmed me. With all the different treasure chests and the size of the map and all.
This was everything a Kirby game should be
1:47:13 Shadow Kirby: "Alright, other world me. I know you're trying to help me save my dimension, but..."
(Kirby dashes into his Mirror World counterpart and sends him flying out of Carrot Castle)
Shadow Kirby: *_"WHY DO THESE THINGS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?!"_*
going back to this vid every now & then because i’m still wishing for nintendo to do a remake of this game
37:30 Oh hi there.
The player defeated the bosses easily
Where are all the bosses in this video?
@@markmitchell7508 yes
@@markmitchell7508 yeah
@@roses77chainsaw no. I was asking where you find the bosses in this video?
there should be a comment putting the time stamps i think
How I never heard of this Kirby game! It's almost like a metroidvania-type game, which is unique for this franchise. I wish it had more RPG elements like leveling up and experience and equipment!
And for some reason I love the music in olive ocean and I also love the candy constellation music as well as the peppermint palace music
Thank you very much, I used this video as a guide to pass the game 100% and I got it after a week, although it almost took me half a year because I forgot to open a chest and I almost stayed at 99% forever, thank you very much :)
