At the roundtable you can get armor from previous bosses you fought. I found that using Loretta’s armor is very good cause it has lots of magical resistances and physical resistances. I am also a magic user and this armor really helped me out
I doubt youll read this but heres some advice. Its quite a bit so feel free to "not readin allat" me lol Bayle is meant to be one of the final 2 bosses you fight in the dlc as far as scaling goes. The fextralife wiki has bayle recommended at 18-20 scadu blessings. I would highly recommend leaving him till you get vigor to 60 and blessings up to at least 10 before reattempting, youll have a MUCH easier time. The blessings make a huge difference. At 20 blessings (max) you deal over 2x damage and take less than half damage. Plus with vigor that low and the magic scorpion charm causing you to take 10% extra damage AND the 5% less health from the hug debuff, youre basically gonna need multiple full streams to beat each of the 10 rememberance bosses of the dlc at this rate. I would also recommend switching the infinite fp tear in your physick for the opaline hardtear, it boosts all defence stats. If you go this route, i would also make it a habit of using physick before you walk through fog wall each time since you wont need to save your infinite fp for a specific moment in the fight. You can also possibly switch an offensive talisman for a defensive one. Dragoncrest greatsheild tali gives 20% damage resist to all physical damage and is basically a staple in 90% of builds. Cant recommend it enough. Magic scorpion charm would be my first pick to be replaced so youre not taking that extra damage. If you read this far (or at all), hope this helps and good luck king
